Die griechische Insel wird von weiteren Erdbeben erschüttert. Die Behörden haben den Notstand ausgerufen, ein Hauptbeben wird noch befürchtet. Erdbebenschwärme über lange Zeit seien ungewöhnlich, sagt die Seismologin Heidrun Kopp. Ihr Kriseneinsatzteam ist vor Ort. Das von vielen Seismologen erwartete Hauptbeben im Raum der Vulkaninsel Santorini hat sich zwar bisher nicht ereignet, wird aber befürchtet. Deswegen hat das Bürgerschutzministerium für die griechische Insel den Notstand ausgerufen. Immer noch folgen Erdbeben auf Erdbeben. Im «Tagesgespräch» erläutert Seismologin Heidrun Kopp vom Geomar Helmholtz-Zentrum für Ozeanforschung Kiel, wie diese Erdbeben entstehen, weshalb sie nicht mit dem Vulkan in Verbindung stehen und unter welchen Umständen eine Entwarnung möglich ist.

Given the format of the last season, we didn't have any - fortunately, this interview with Laurie Kopp Weingarten, President of One-Stop College Counseling in Marlboro, New Jersey was in the vault.
