Darunter Zwei Filme von Stanley Kubrick, einen weiteren durchschnittlichen Film von Billy Wilder und weiteren ikonischen Regisseuren wie Quentin Tarantino und Alfred Hitchcock oder bekannten Schauspielern wie Aamir Kahn. Wir schaffen es tatsächlich die ersten 100 Filme heute in dieser Liste gesehen zu haben. Neben der Besprechung von dem Sci-Fi Klassiker Return of the Jedi haben wir auch Toy Story 3 am Start. The Appartment, Ikiru und Lawrence of Arabia haben uns einiges zu besprechen gegeben. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotles Mind, Reqiem for a Dream und the Hunt sind Filme welche mit verschiedenen Emotionen spiele. Und mit Incendies ist es zu einer Premiere in dieser Folge gekommen. Damit ganz viel Spass bei der heutigen Folge und einen schönen Tag.

Es ist wieder soweit und wir besprechen einen 10er Block an IDMb Filmen. Heute haben wir mit "Come and See" und "Dr. Strangelove" zwei Kriegsfilme die unterschiedlicher nicht sein könnten. "Singin in the Rain" und "3 Idiots" bilden den musikalischen Teil diese Blocks und mit "Prinzessin Mononoke" haben wir auch wieder einen Animationsfilm im Angebot. "Joker" und "American Beauty" bieten Raum für eine grosse Disskussion und "Capernaum" hat uns beide fertig gemacht. "Breaveheart" und "Once upon a time in America" sind wohl die Filme die wir am ehesten aus diesem Block entfernt hätten. Warum das alles so ist und was wir von den Filmen halten, erfahrt ihr in dieser Folge. Viel Spass.

A big screen adaptation of the Stephen King Novella and directed by Frank Darabont, The Shawshank Redemption was released 30 years ago and was met with muted critical and commercial success and no wins despite 7 Academy Award nominations.
