Send us a textWhat do you get when you mix Agatha Christie with Sherlock Holmes, toss in a dash of Jennifer Shannon, and top it off with a Hallmark mystery?Well, Garage Sale Mysteries: The Novel Murders, of course. The mystery series has been Andrea's favorite while Eric has been lukewarm. But with this 6 installment of the mystery series starring Lori Laughlin, Steve Bacic, Sarah Strange, and Eva Bourne, we both agreed it was a 5 out of 5 mystery. Synopsis:Jennifer Shannon (Lori Loughlin) is a garage sale shopping expert whose sharp observation skills allow her to uncover valuable antiques, as well as help her local police department investigate crimes and solve mysteries. When an impoverished man enters Rags to Riches - a consignment shop where Jennifer sells the gems she's found at garage sales - and asks for an item home-delivered, Jennifer agrees. Upon her arrival at his run-down apartment, Jennifer finds the man murdered. As the police survey the crime scene, Jennifer cannot help but think there is something familiar about the details of the killing – and soon realizes that the victim's cold-blooded demise is a re-enactment of a murder in a classic mystery novel.Follow us on social media: Instagram: @hallmarkmysteriesandmoreYoutubeOr visit our website. If you are even a casual Hallmark fan, you definitely know the work of today's guest, Jaralin Detienne. She has created some iconic looks for Hallmark romcoms and mysteries. She famously designed the costumes for blockbusters like the Wedding Veil trilogy, The Christmas Waltz, Big Sky River, and The Wedding Cottage. But she has also created the iconic style for Tess Harper in Crossword Mysteries, Jennifer Shannon in Garage Sale Mysteries, Billie Blessings in Morning Show Mysteries, and Claire and Joanna Darrow in Darrow and Darrow. I have been offering free worry workshops every Saturday and as I go through those sessions and work on anxiety with many of my clients, I have found an even better way to process emotions. As I have been teaching this concept to my clients, I realized it is exactly how we need to be processing ALL of our emotions, because remember, if we don't process our emotions, we get stuck in the tunnel. We don't want to feel and process emotions that are uncomfortable so we do a lot of things to not feel them like overeating, binge-watching Netflix, staying at home, using alcohol or drugs, scrolling social media and all of these things get in the way of the life we want to live.Feeling WheelSteps to Process and EmotionAudio to Process Emotions Guided by Me Find my podcastEmail me: ccoufal@betterregulatethannever.comText me: 785-380-2064More information Help me with my research. The guest advised new recruiters to ask questions, learn from experienced recruiters, and set their ego aside. They shared a story about how they emulated the top producers in their division and became one of the top producers themselves. The conversation also touched on the importance of seeking out mentors and coaches and recommended the book Don't Feed the Monkey Mind by Jennifer Shannon, which helped them cope with anxiety and fear, allowing them to take on bigger challenges in their career. For this Dallas Housing Market Update November 2022 we're talking about the latest headlines about the housing market. Headlines like, “Collapse in Dallas-Fort Worth home sales worse than Great Recession,” or this one that the “average new home price in Dallas-Fort Worth down by $10,000.” They're headlines to get you to click and it's working. This month I'm looking at the actual numbers and not the headlines so you can see what's really happening in our local market right now and I'm going to compare these stats to our pre-covid era market so you can see if this price drop is or isn't typical. Take a look at what the catalyst was for Staples and other organizations to embrace innovation. "Distill it down or synthesize it down to its smallest value prop that you can easily put out there and show. Because I think when a lot of things come around change. It's usually pretty big, right? And so you're not going to be successful putting something up very big in a month because it's just not going to happen. But if you can really like kind of synthesize something down that gives you the credibility to show how to push the change, especially if you're within like a large org, that's how you start to win. Right?"

Today, we are talking about teen anxiety, something that I like to feature with students every school year at this time. For the past two weeks, I have partnered with our school counselor, Andrew Palmer, in a presentation for Year9 (8th grade) students. It's been a fantastic couple of weeks of in-depth conversations with our students on an issue that is all too real for some of them. Today's podcast features our first guest interview, our school counselor, Andrew Palmer. As we did with our Year9 student presentation, Mr. Palmer will talk first about anxiety, what it is, and why schools need to help students recognize it. After the interview, I will feature 12 fiction and nonfiction titles that will help teens learn to recognize and manage their own anxiety.
