PRE-ORDER MY NEW BOOK, THE ADHD WOMEN'S WELLBEING TOOLKIT HERE!✨ BIG NEWS! ✨ I've written a book, and you're the first to hear about it!The ADHD Women's Wellbeing Toolkit has been in the making for a long time, and I'm so excited to share it with you, FINALLY! After working with and speaking to so many women with ADHD, through coaching, the podcast, this community and my own journey, I knew there was a need for a resource that goes beyond just managing ADHD.I wanted to create something that helps women truly thrive and live authentic and good lives with ADHD rather than just cope with it. The ADHD Women's Wellbeing Toolkit book brings together everything I've learned from practical tools, mindset shifts, and holistic wellbeing strategies to help you embrace your unique brain, reduce overwhelm, and live with more confidence and ease.ADHD affects and impacts every part of life, from emotions, relationships, and careers to health, self-trust, hormones, and everyday routines. I know how frustrating it can be when the typical advice doesn't work for you, which is why this toolkit is all about finding what does. It's a guide to understanding yourself, building supportive habits, and creating a life that aligns with your needs rather than forcing yourself into a one-size-fits-all approach.Key Takeaways:

Here's a really cool idea: create a program that helps your write your book. When you create a program you get to take your best ideas, turn them into a clear process, AND help a group of people in real time. You get feedback and make adjustments along the way so that your process gets even better. Then you write your book knowing that you're writing something that really helps people. Both your program and your book allow you to help more people and get known for your work. That's what today's guest, Dr. Christen Mullane has been up to. She's a clinical psychologist and certified meditation teacher. She is the owner of Ginkgo Leaf Health Services, a psychotherapy practice aimed at providing services for those who have experienced medical stress and trauma. She offers a therapy program called RISE, which specifically focuses on trauma-informed mindfulness within this population. She's also the author of Medical Stress & Trauma. I'm proud to say that she's a grad of Create Your Program. Here's some of what we talked about on this week's podcast episode: The process Christen went through to publish her workbook and create her group program How running her program is different from her therapy sessions How she brought a trauma informed lens to her program and her book Annie and Christen's young parts showing up when they get more visible How Christen finds safe spaces to get honest, actionable feedback The lightbulb moment when Christen realized she needed to work in a new way Finding the uniqueness of her message while giving credit to all of her sources How she got participants for her program through networking, list building and SEO Show notes at https://rebeltherapist.me/podcast/239

Episode 432 - Roxanne McCarty-O'Kane - Ignite Your Passion and Write Your Book, Ghost Writing and CoachingI am a qualified journalist who has written for a number of newspapers, magazines and e-zines and am what you would call a jack of all trades.I ‘published' my first book when I was in my final year of primary school. It was aptly called School Journal Part 4 Number 2 and had a strong ocean theme, with short stories, articles and poetry about sea life. It featured a cardboard cover that held stapled paper pages and this was the first and only time I have ever accompanied my words with illustrations (and for good reason…).An avid bookworm beforehand, this project earned me an A++ and provided the initial spark for a future career in writing.Rain, hail, or shine, they always received their papers and being in the land of the long white cloud, it often meant arriving home from deliveries soaked-through.Fast forward to today and I have been a professional storyteller since 2007. My first era was as a qualified print media journalist. My second era as an award-winning nonfiction book ghostwriter and writing mentor began in 2018.Since then, I have had the privilege of assisting people of all ages and all walks of life to showcase their expertise or share their incredible life stories in books that are changing the world. I have helped each and every one of them move through the perceived challenges that prevent many from taking the first steps to authorship.Helping people to find their spark and become brave enough to share it with the world is my fuel. Guiding people to find their voice and share their message in a powerful way that connects and transforms is my why. Processing large volumes of information and a lifetime worth of stories is my passion. Providing guidance and structured order to the myriad ideas buzzing around in the mind of an aspiring author is my gift.Making ghostwriting clients feel safe during my interviews (and knowing which questions to prompt them with) is my superpower.Whether it's ‘How to make $1 million' or ‘My journey through breast cancer', every book has the potential to resonate deeply with people if it is crafted in the right way and written from the heart.I look forward to supporting you in any way you need to get the story off your heart and into the world, where it can serve, change lives, inspire, educate and even give your bank account a healthy boost!https://www.roxannewriter.com.au/https://www.roxannewriter.com.au/shop/books/Support the show___https://livingthenextchapter.com/podcast produced by: https://truemediasolutions.ca/

If you're feeling overwhelmed or frustrated when it comes to writing and marketing your book, know that you're not alone.Every published author I've ever met has had to deal with fluctuating emotions, doubts, time constraints, decision fatigue, and information overload throughout the various stages of their writing journeys.Yet it is estimated that 500,000 new self-published books were released last year by U.S. authors alone. Assuming that some authors wrote multiple books in one year, that means at least a quarter of a million people were able to push past all the challenges and overwhelm to successfully write and self-publish their books. You can, too.On today's episode, I'm going to share a SIMPLER way to write – and market – your book.Resources Mentioned in this Episode:Bookworthy Academy WaitlistSelf-Publishing Checklist - FREE 2-page resourceYour Path to Publishing - FREE 9-page guide to help you determine if traditional, hybrid, or self-publishing is right for you.The Inkwell membership - weekly writing sessions and monthly Craft ChatsOswald Chambers's My Utmost for His Highest devotional * (affiliate link) *Additional Writing/Self-Publishing Resources:1:1 Coaching Session - gain strategy and clarity; limited slots availableConnect with Your Host, Dalene Bickel:Email: info@inkandimpact.comInstagram: @‌dalenebickelWebsite: inkandimpact.comThanks for listening!
