On this episode I’m joined by fellow podcast hosts John Mielke and Adam Goldman from the Grounds For Discussion podcast. I had a great time on this one discussing a wide range of music topics from underground hip-hop to The Boss.

In late August, Jesse and Jenna from Jump 106.9 in Ottawa were restructured out of their jobs. That's probably not news as it is a regular occurrence in radio. However, their replacements were a syndicated U.S. show out of Seattle. The ensuing online and media outrage was heavier than in other cities where layoffs happen. 120 - Mielke, Border Battle and the WIAA: The Three Amigos are back to talk about a tumultuous week for the Fox Valley. We start with the Border Battle and Brett is still a bit angry about how we missed some livestream opportunities. We then delve into the whole Appleton East/Coach Mielke fiasco that has left the East community buzzing. Ricardo questions whether he and his fellow Generation X parents are ruining youth sports. Rosie and Brett offer their takes as well. We shift to the WIAA rural/urban proposal and wrap up with a preview of Appleton East girls basketball players Lexie Schneider and Audrey Roberts on the big show later that night.

B.J. and Brian react to the news that Appleton East Boys Basketball coach John Mielke is stepping down after 18 years at the helm. Also the guys are joined by Ricardo Arguello of the Post-Crescent who broke the story.
