https://youtu.be/j1K89s-x8D8 Adam Goldman, Franchise Coach, Consultant, and author of The Franchisee Lifestyle, is driven by a mission to help individuals find their dream franchise opportunities and align them with their goals for a fulfilling lifestyle. We learn about Adam's journey into franchise coaching and his 3 Filters Framework, a tool he uses to match individuals with franchise opportunities. The framework evaluates three key factors: sales vs. execution, full-time vs. part-time engagement, and brick-and-mortar vs. service-based models. Adam explains how these filters guide potential franchisees to discover opportunities that fit their skills, preferences, and lifestyle. He also shares insights on the differences between lifestyle and growth businesses, the keys to franchising success, and the importance of finding the right cultural fit. Find Your Dream Franchise with Adam Goldman Good day, dear listeners. Steve Preda here with the Management Blueprint Podcast, and my guest today is Adam Goldman, a franchise coach and consultant and the author of The Franchisee Lifestyle. Adam, welcome to the show. Thank you so much, Steve. So great to be here today. Great to have you here. So, let's start with your “Why.” What is your personal “Why” and what are you doing to manifest it in your business? So, I really have two “Why's.” Let's start with them and they're in no particular order. For my personal “Why,” it's really to kind of have a great life in general. I'm talking about things such as working at my own schedule, being able to be there for my kids. My daughters are seven, nine, and 13 and I'm not getting any younger. So, to kind of make the best out of this time through travel or through fitness or whatever that might be, and my business allows me to do that. In many ways, my business is a lifestyle business. And number two, my “Why,” when it comes to my company, is really I'm here to help people. So, what that means is my work is, I almost see myself as a dating agency between individuals and franchise brands.Share on X So, the way I've structured my business is I'm really customer focused and really candidate focused, meaning I spend much of my day because of the systems I have in place that really allow me to have that biggest impact with my candidates, to get to know them better and to make that good match. And even after I've made that match to kind of have a relationship with them afterwards. And I'm very blessed to have a situation like this. That's interesting, and we'll get into what you do and being a franchise coach. But what struck me that you mentioned in your introduction is that you said that it's very much a lifestyle business. And I think you're not just preaching franchise, you are a franchisee yourself. Or are you not? No, I'm actually not a franchisee per se. I'm part of a network. But we're not a franchise organization. Okay, well, some of the franchise coaching organizations are franchises. That's right, that's correct. We're not one. You're not one, okay. So then my question is, what differentiates in your view, a lifestyle business from maybe a growth business or whatever the other category you call it? And what are the pros and cons? That's a great question. The way I see a lifestyle business is being one with flexibility. I have friends that are amazing entrepreneurs and I love them to death, but they have young kids, they don't see them. They might be traveling on a roadshow all year long. And I'm just not willing myself to kind of, for me, it's about time. What kind of hours you're working, what kind of flexibility do you have on a day to day basis? That makes sense. That's a great perspective. And I have not really considered this before. So it's a great argument in favor of a franchise or any other kind of lifestyle businesses. And do you consider franchises as more likely to be lifestyle businesses as opposed to maybe growth businesses?

According to franchise coach Adam Goldman, franchising relies on leveraging systems and support mechanisms provided by the franchise, including training programs, marketing assistance, and operational frameworks. According to reports, Maduro won 51% of the final vote though there were, unsurprisingly, numerous irregularities which have led many to question the legitimacy of the results. Notably, the Biden-Harris administration limited sanctions on Venezuela and the Maduro regime in exchange for fair elections. It certainly doesn't seem like policy worked. 3:10pm- Kamala Harris' Prosecutorial Failures: In 2019, Vice news wrote “Jamal Trulove...was wrongfully convicted of murder and sentenced to 50 years to life in prison, despite no physical evidence linking him to the crime. Trulove recalls then San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris ‘showed up at the two most pivotal times…she wanted to be present for a celebration of a conviction.' Epstein of The New York Times writes: “When she ran for president the first time, Kamala Harris darted to the left as she fought for attention from the Democratic Party's liberal wing. After she dropped out, social and racial justice protests swept across the country in the summer of 2020, and Ms. Harris joined other Democrats in supporting progressive ideas during what appeared to be a national realignment on criminal justice. One presidential cycle later, with Vice President Harris less than a week into another race for the White House, video clips of her old statements and interviews are being weaponized as Republicans aim to define her as a left-wing radical who is out of step with swing voters… ‘The archive is deep,' said Brad Todd, a Republican strategist and ad maker who is working with David McCormick, the G.O.P. Senate candidate in Pennsylvania, among other campaigns. ‘We will run out of time before we run out of video clips of Kamala Harris saying wacky California liberal things. I'm just not sure that the rest of this campaign includes much besides that.'” You can read the full article here: https://www.nytimes.com/2024/07/29/us/politics/kamala-harris-2020-positions.html 4:45: The Carpet Doesn't Match the Drapes: What the hell did former U.S. Congressman Patrick Murphy just say on Fox News? 5:05pm- In the week since President Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential race and selected Kamala Harris to be his successor, clips have emerged of Harris advocating for some truly bizarre policies—including a ban on fracking, a mandatory gun buyback initiated via executive authority, placing a limit on red meat consumption, providing taxpayer-funded health care to undocumented migrants in the country illegally, and the complete abolition of private health insurance. Rich notes that if Democrats feel as though Harris is incapable of defeating Trump, they won't hesitate to replace her as their candidate. Currently, Harris appears to be polling slightly better than Biden had been—though, Trump still leads in most swing states as well as nationally. 5:10pm- Karens for Kamala! According to Reuters, more than 160,000 people joined a “white women for Kamala Harris” Zoom call. Independent journalist Michael Shellenberger notes, “I thought this was a joke at first but it's not: Kamala Harris' campaign is segregating its volunteers by race. Why do people tolerate this degrading treatment?” You can read the initial Reuters report here: https://www.reuters.com/world/us/more-than-160000-people-join-white-women-kamala-harris-zoom-call-2024-07-26/. While speaking on behalf of Kamala Harris' presidential campaign, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro alleged Donald Trump intends to “use the department of justice to attack people who don't think like him.” He also inaccurately claimed Donald Trump wants to confiscate tips from waiters and waitresses, despite Trump's campaign pledge to end taxes on tips. It sounds like Shapiro desperately wants to be selected as Harris' running mate. 5:40pm- J.D. Tuccille of Reason writes: “Imagine you're a prominent ‘disinformation expert' once hired to head a government board to fight alleged untruths but unceremoniously dumped from the position when the board was dissolved amidst public outcry. Smeared oh so cruelly as the would-be chief censor of a government body tasked with policing people's speech, you sue your critics for defamation to set the record straight. On this episode of Next Question, the journalists who broke the story, Ronen Bergman and Adam Goldman, detail how this intelligence failure came about, including the dismissal of a female Israeli intelligence analyst's urgent warnings that Hamas had devised a “plan to start a war” as “imaginary.”    We now know that Hamas's intentions as laid out in the Jericho Wall document were deadly serious, and Bergman and Goldman note that the attack followed the plan with “shocking precision.” They give insightful analysis of how a threat like Jericho Wall could be dismissed and what this grave misstep means for not only this conflict, but also for Israel's broader idea of itself in the world and for the trust in its powerful intelligence service at home and abroad.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Humanitarian conditions in Gaza have become increasingly desperate as Israeli forces intensified bombardments in the southern part of the region this week, now leaving most of Gaza's 2.2 million residents displaced, thousands dead and electricity, food and water in short supply. Two months after Hamas's deadly attack on Israel, we take stock of the war that's ensued, its devastating impact on civilians and what a path toward a peaceful settlement could look like. Guests: Steve Coll, staff writer, The New Yorker; former dean, Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University. His books include "Ghost Wars," which won a Pulitzer Prize. The House voted 311 to 114 in favor of removing him following numerous allegations of lying about his background and a 23-count indictment that includes allegations he “repeatedly, without authorization” charged donor credit cards—depositing funds into his own bank account. According to a report from Ronen Bergman and Adam Goldman of The New York Times, “Israeli officials obtained Hamas's battle plan for the Oct. 7 terrorist attack more than a year before it happened…But Israeli military and intelligence officials dismissed the plan as aspirational, considering it too difficult for Hamas to carry out.” You can read the full report here: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/11/30/world/middleeast/israel-hamas-attack-intelligence.html On Friday, Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres spoke at the 28th U.N. Did DeSantis do enough to threaten Donald Trump for the Republican presidential nomination? 4:30pm- The Associated Press writes that there has been a concerning “surge in respiratory illnesses across China that has drawn the attention of the World Health Organization.” China's health ministry has claimed the uptick “is caused by the flu and other known pathogens and not by a novel virus.” Several Republican Senators are now calling on President Joe Biden to adopt a travel ban on China until more concrete information about the repiratory illness outbreak can be established. During the hearing, journalist Michael Shellenberger explained: “We discovered that the Aspen Institute had created a workshop attended…by all major media, including social media platforms, to…pre-bunk, in advance, the Hunter Biden laptop story even though there was no evidence that it existed outside of the fact that the FBI knew they had it because they got it in December 2019." Meanwhile, journalist Matt Taibbi insisted the claim that government officials worked to suppress speech “isn't a crazy conspiracy theory. We have already had four federal judges rule that they believe this activity violates the First Amendment." 5:00pm- Daniel Turner—Founder & Executive Director of Power the Future—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss the hypocrisy unfolding at the United Nations Climate Conference (COP28) being held in Dubai. Heather Haddon of The Wall Street Journal writes that the new Big Mac will have “two all-beef patties…cooked in smaller batches for a more uniform sear. There's more special sauce. The lettuce, cheese and pickles have been rethought to be fresher and meltier, and the bun is now a buttery brioche, with the sesame seeds more randomly scattered for a homemade look.” You can read more here: https://www.wsj.com/business/hospitality/mcdonalds-burger-new-menu-2400d22b?mod=hp_lead_pos9 5:25pm- A man in Florida has collected 2,467 copies of the 1997 film Titanic on VHS—he's hoping to eventually own 1 million copies. Why??? 5:30pm- On Thursday, the House Judiciary Committee held a hearing on the weaponization of the federal government. During the hearing, independent journalist Michael Shellenberger testified that the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) violated the First Amendment in 2020 when it actively censored political content on Twitter and Facebook. Shellenberger concluded that the campaign of censorship amounted to election interference—encouraging Congress to dismantle government organizations whose actions were violative of the Constitution. 5:50pm- During Thursday's House Judiciary Committee hearing, Congressman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL) bizarrely tried to equate murder and rape to freedom of political speech online. 6:05pm- Dr. Nicole Saphier—board-certified diagnostic and interventional radiologist, professor at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Medical College, & Fox News contributor—joins The Rich Zeoli Show. McCarthy—Senior Fellow at National Review Institute & Author of “Ball of Collusion: The Plot to Rig an Election and Destroy a Presidency”—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his latest article, “Jockeying Over Hunter Biden House Testimony.” McCarthy writes: “Hunter [Biden]'s legal team has reacted to the [Congressional] subpoena by agreeing that he will show up but demanding that the testimony be held in public…A subpoena is not a suggestion. It is an order enforceable by legal penalties. By agreeing that he will attend, Hunter is putting a brave face on what's no more than an acknowledgement that he will do what he is legally compelled to do. He is demanding that the hearing be public because he knows Republicans will refuse.” You can read the full article here: https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/jockeying-over-hunter-biden-house-testimony/ 6:40pm- Senator Rand Paul—United States Senator from Kentucky & Author of “Deception: The Great Covid Cover-Up”—joins The Rich Zeoli Show. Throughout the book Sen. Paul presents evidence that COVID-19 likely originated in a Wuhan, China laboratory and was a by-product of dangerous gain-of-function research. Was the research funded by U.S. taxpayers? And did Dr. Anthony Fauci attempt to cover-up the virus's origin? Sen. Paul says, “if I had it my way, Anthony Fauci would already be wearing pinstripes.” Plus, Sen. Paul reacts to Elon Musk's assessment that, prior to his ownership, Twitter suppressed Republican posts at 10x the rate of Democrats—accusing the social media platform of ostensibly being “a state publication.” Sen. Two of these indictments — Special Prosecutor Jack Smith's in D.C. and District Attorney Fani Willis's Fulton County, Georgia — take up Trump's and his co-conspirators efforts to steal the 2020 election, efforts that culminated with the insurrection on January 6. In this episode, Matt and Sam try to make sense of them and weigh the possible risks and rewards of "breaking the seal" and criminally charging a former president. In particular, they give closes readings to the two January 6-related indictments and discuss what they reveal about the deranged efforts Trump and his team made to overturn the election and a Republican Party that seemed to mostly go along with it, along with some of the problems with the RICO statute Trump and others are being charged under in Georgia. And of course, these indictments came down just as we're entering presidential election season — how will Trump's legal problems effect the 2024 race?Sources:Charlie Savage and Adam Goldman, "The Trump Jan. 6 Indictment, Annotated," NYT, Aug 1, 2023Alan Feuer, et al, "The Trump Georgia Indictment, Annotated," NYT, Aug 15, 2023Charlie Savage, "The Four Trump Criminal Cases: Strengths and Weaknesses," NYT, Aug 28, 2023James Risen, "In Trump's Georgia Indictment, a Tale of Two Election Workers," The Intercept, Aug 17, 2023Rick Rojas and Sean Keenan, "Dozens of ‘Cop City' Activists Are Indicted on Racketeering Charges," NYT, Sept 5, 2023Laurence Tribe, "Anatomy of a Fraud," Just Security, Aug 8, 2023Matthew Sitman, "Will Be Wild," Dissent, Spring 2023Damon Linker, "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Trump?" The timing of fake banking dynasty heiress Anna de Rothschild's presence at Mar-A-Lago, where she played gold with Donald Trump and Lindsey Graham and ingratiated herself into the former's president inner circle, is suspicious: she first started to go there in May 2021. According to the New York Times, the CIA sent a top secret cable to chiefs of station – in all countries - warning them that too many agents were dying or were being turned into double agents.. So they should be extremely cautious. The cable said that the CIA knew exactly how many were executed but they have no idea how many were turned. 2 Inna Yashchyshyn is the daughter of an Illinois truck driver, which makes her marriage to her now ex-husband Sergey Golubev even more dubious: he said she married her to get a green card. 3 The FBI is also looking into her charity, United Hearts of Mercy, after the Sûreté du Québec Police Provincielle du Canada have launched investigations into Yashchyshyn's dealings too, also related to this foundation which claims to help immigrant families. In fact, this was a money laundering scam. In this special report: New York Times Reporter Discusses CIA / NSA Sources; ‘Ridiculous Pee Tape Didn't Exist' … ‘Crazier Leftist Sh*t' Influences Reporting• Rosenberg on infamous pee tape: “It involved CIA and NSA. It involved Trump and involved that ridiculous, like, ‘pee tape', which of course doesn't exist.”• Rosenberg: “I think there's like a real internal tug of war [at NYT] between, like the reasonable people and some of the crazier leftist sh*t that's worked its way in there.”• Rosenberg said his collogues at the NYT were “not the clearest thinkers, some of them” before calling the people that end up at the paper “very neurotic people.”• Rosenberg on colleague Adam Goldman: “He's a terrible writer…He's just not good at conceptualizing things. He's not good with words. It's a skill. It's a hard one.”• Rosenberg on the NYT's ongoing lawsuit with Project Veritas: “James O'Keefe, that was a f*ck up. We may well lose that one.”[NEW YORK – Mar. 9, 2022] Project Veritas released part 2 of its series on NYT reporter, Matthew Rosenberg, on Wednesday night. This story focused on statements Rosenberg makes about what happens inside the New York Times as well as his confidential sources in agencies like the CIA and NSA.One of the most surprising moments of the footage was Rosenberg speaking about his confidential sources, including the source of what Rosenberg calls “that ridiculous, like pee tape.” Rosenberg is likely referring to Buzzfeed's 2017 publishing of sections of an unverified intelligence report on former President Trump's relationship with Russia, frequently referred to as the “Steele dossier.” The “Steele dossier” claimed that a tape existed of Trump engaging in lewd acts while visiting Russia, but Rosenberg tells a Project Veritas undercover reporter that the tape “doesn't exist.” Rosenberg also discussed what happens in the newsroom at the New York Times revealing that there is “a real internal tug of war between, like the reasonable people and some of the crazier leftist sh*t that's worked its way in there.”Rosenberg added, “They're not the majority, but they're very vocal, loud minority that dominate social media and, therefore, has just hugely outsized influence.” Rosenberg also said he thinks this is “alienating” its subscribers who he describes as “prosperous.”Rosenberg then said his colleagues at the NYT are “bullies” and “not the clearest thinkers, some of them” before calling the people that end up at the paper “very neurotic people.” Rosenberg, who's been with the New York Times for over a decade, also spent some time discussing one colleague in particular, Adam Goldman, saying, “He's a terrible writer…He's just not good at conceptualizing things. He's not good with words. It's a skill. It's a hard one.” Rosenberg added that “editors do all his writing for him.”[Project Veritas Mirror]https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCL9PlYkRD3Q-RZca6CCnPKwShare this far and wide! For breaking news from one of the most over the target and censored names in the world join our 100% Free newsletter at www.NemosNewsNetwork.com/newsAlso follow us at Gabhttps://gab.com/nemosnewsnetworkNemos News is 100% listener funded.
