The thread, the brass, the leather, the denim, all of it made or sourced in America, in their own factories. That sounds like a constraint. Justin Parker explains why it is actually the brand's biggest growth lever.Justin runs e-commerce at Origin, the American-made apparel brand born in jiu-jitsu gear and now backed in part by Jocko Willink. He sits at the intersection of marketing, ops, and manufacturing, and that vantage point is exactly what makes the AI stack so powerful for him. What you will learn:How owning manufacturing let Origin pull a planned-for-June product into the line overnight when a hoodie went viral in JanuaryWhy Origin uploaded its 20-page production tech packs into Moby, and how that turned a marketing tool into something that diagnoses manufacturing defectsHow they run 100% internal media buying through an agentic media buyer, and the one question Justin asks it: "what in your context made you decide to pause this ad?"Why branded search spend got flagged as non-incremental, and how goal-setting changes what the AI doesHow the e-commerce team stopped hiring internally while the rest of the business keeps net hiringWhere Justin thinks the role is going next: agent orchestration and one centralized goal pushed down to every business unitWho this is for: DTC founders and operators, e-commerce and growth leads, anyone figuring out how to actually deploy AI agents inside a real business. What to steal: Justin's approach to context loading. The output you get from any AI tool is capped by the context you feed it. He spent an afternoon uploading product blueprints one PDF at a time, and it changed what the tool could do.Timestamps:0:00 Origin's Unexpected Maduro Viral Moment2:01 Building an American-Made Supply Chain7:00 Pricing Premium Products in a Competitive Market15:02 How Vertical Integration Creates a Growth Advantage22:18 Inside Moby AI and Agentic Media BuyingSubscribe to DTC Newsletter - https://dtcnews.link/signupAdvertise on DTC - https://dtcnews.link/advertiseWork with Pilothouse - https://dtcnews.link/pilothouseFollow us on Instagram & Twitter - @dtcnewsletterWatch this interview on YouTube - https://dtcnews.link/video

On this special edition of The Mark White Show, I'm sharing conversations recorded live at the Military, Veterans, and First Responders Suicide Prevention Summit in Enterprise, Alabama. Throughout the program, you'll hear from organizations and leaders who are working to support those who have served and those who continue to serve our communities. The show begins with Wiregrass Honor Flight's Travis Parker, an organization dedicated to honoring veterans by giving them the opportunity to visit the memorials built in their honor in Washington, D.C. I'm also speaking with Kevin Turley of AMVETS about the importance of connection and support within the veteran community. In addition, Justin Parker of Rally Point at the Summit shares how his organization is helping veterans and first responders find resources, relationships, and renewed purpose. These conversations highlight the importance of community, awareness, and making sure that no one in the military, veteran, or first responder community feels alone in their struggles. Real stories. Real people. Real impact. News That Unites!™️

Justin Parker becomes the eighth consecutive Diamond Dog skipper to win his first series against Ole Miss. State still needs to win this weekend at suddenly-surprising Missouri to make a NCAA Tournament case. And Bulldog softball learns its NCAA assignment tonight.

The Southeastern 16 crew discusses Mississippi State fired baseball coach Chris Lemonis on Monday, April 28, topics include: Lemonis leaves a legacy that includes a 2021 national championship. But the Bulldogs struggled since, failing to make the NCAA Tournament in 2022 and 2023 and failing to make it out of a regional in 2024. Lemonis was 232-135 overall and 82-89 in SEC play, but just 42-69 after winning a national title. He's owed approximately $1.2 million and is the second baseball coach MSU has fired this century. Why did athletic director Zac Selmon make a change now? And are we surprised Lemonis was fired in-season? Pitching coach Justin Parker will be the interim coach. What will that mean? How attractive is the job in a more-competitive-than-ever SEC and does MSU have the budget to hire an elite coach? Who will the Bulldogs hire? Potential candidates might include: Those with MSU ties: Georgia hitting coach Will Coggin (played at MSU), Kentucky coach Nick Mingione (MSU assistant from 2009-15), Auburn coach Butch Thompson (MSU assistant from 2009-15), Georgia coach Wes Johnson (pitching coach in 2016), Louisiana Tech coach Lane Burroughs (MSU assistant from 2009-12) Sitting head coaches without MSU ties: Alabama's Rob Vaughn, East Carolina's Cliff Godwin, Clemson;s Erik Bakich, Kansas coach Dan Fitzgerald, Duke's Chris Pollard, Dallas Baptist's Dan Heefner and Wake Forest's Tom Walter, Oklahoma's Skip Johnson, Oregon State's Mitch Carnham, North Carolina's Scott Forbes, Oregon's Scott Wasikowski Current assistants without MSU ties: Tennessee hitting coach Josh Elander FOLLOW US ON SOCIAL MEDIA Twitter: https://twitter.com/16Southeastern SANDERS LOGISTICS Efficient, hassle-free moving: https://www.tedrsandersmoving.com/ ADVERTISE WITH SOUTHEASTERN 16 Reach out to caroline.smith@southeastern14.com to find out how your product or service can be seen by over 200,000 unique viewers each month! #sec #secbaseball #collegebaseball
Chris Lemonis has been dismissed as head baseball coach four years removed from a National Championship season. Bulldog baseball has gone to the coaching bullpen for Justin Parker as interim while the search for the next Mississippi State skipper ramps up. And Jeff Lebby keeps beefing up his 2025 roster with more offensive line commitments via the spring transfer window.
