We're going draft daft over the next few weeks, with a mini-series devoted to arguing over the best XIs from various tournaments, seasons and eras.We start with English football's summer of love, also known as Euro 96. Martyn and Rob are joined by Mike Gibbons, whose When Football Came Home is the best book around on that tournament, and Jonathan O'Brien, author of the definitive European Championship history. The rules of the draft are simple:* Each player can only be picked by one person. When Matthias Sammer has gone, he's gone.* Players are judged solely on their form during Euro 96. Thus: Dieter Eilts good, Zinedine Zidane not so good.* You decide who wins the draft. Go to Twitter/X on Tuesday morning to choose which team you think is the best. The poll will close at 5pm on Friday (UK time).* All the Euro 96 squads in full* Euro 96 statistics, awards and team of the tournamentThe first rule of Draft Club is… YOU MUST TALK ABOUT DRAFT CLUB. The more people who listen to the podcast, the more of these we can do, so please spread the word. And send your ideas for future drafts to @nessundormapod. This is a public episode. In this message Mike Gibbons shares that the key to stillness in the storm is to trust in God. He draws three practical conclusions from Psalm 62: Trust in God alone (vs. 1-6), trust in God always (vs. 7-8), and trust in God, not man (vs. 9-12). So if you've ever faced difficulties in this life be encouraged that God is with you and is worthy of our worship and complete trust.

It's hard to discuss British rock band Badfinger and NOT focus on the tragic details of their too-short career. This week's guest, legendary Miami music maven Rich Ulloa (Yesterday & Today Records, Y&T Music), doesn't shy away from the dark parts, but much prefers to focus on the wonderful music these four lads from Swansea gifted the world. Their 1971 release 'Straight Up' is as fine an example of lush, meticulously recorded and thrillingly played power-pop as you're ever likely to find. Songs featured in this episode: Take It All (Live) - Badfinger; We Can Work It Out - The Beatles; Clowntime Is Over - Elvis Costello; This Broken Heart - The Mavericks; Flagboy - For Squirrels; Thirsty Boots - Bob Dylan; Perfection - Sweet Lizzy Project; Come And Get It, No Matter What, Apple Of My Eye, Take It All - Badfinger; Golden Slumbers - The Beatles; Maybe I'm Amazed (Live) - Paul McCartney and Wings; Baby Blue - Badfinger; Money - The Flying Lizards; Money, Flying, I'd Die Babe - Badfinger; No Matter What - Jellyfish; Name Of The Game - Badfinger; Time Has Come Today - The Chambers Brothers; Suitcase, Sweet Tuesday Morning, Day After Day - Badfinger; No More - Pete Ham; Sometimes - Badfinger; It Wouldn't Have Made Any Difference - Todd Rundgren; Perfection, It's Over - Badfinger; Piano Red - Albert Castiglia Band (Featuring Mandy Marylane); No Matter What (World Version) - Stan Lynch; Eyesight To The Blind - Mose Allison; Name Of The Game - Amanda Green
The two places that Mike Gibbons has spent the most time at in his playing and coaching career are Bemidji State and St. Cloud State. Gibbons played defense for the Beavers from 1975-79, was an assistant coach in 1981-82 and then the interim head coach for BSU in the 1982-83 season when Bob Peters was on sabbatical. Gibbons' coaching career also took him to the pro, junior and high school levels. He got back into college coaching as an assistant for Bob Motzko at SCSU and was with the Huskies from 2007-20. He retired from coaching ... for seven months. But Bemidji State head coach Tom Serratore needed to make an emergency hire for an assistant coach and called Gibbons, who has been back with the Beavers since the beginning of the 2020-21 season. The Huskies (6-0) and Beavers (2-1-1) play a home-and-home series this weekend. The teams play at 7 p.m. Friday (FloHockey) at the Sanford Center in Bemidji and at 6 p.m. Saturday (FOX 9+) at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in St. Cloud. Gibbons discusses both teams and shares some SCSU memories with The Rink Live's Mick Hatten on this episode of the Huskies Hockey Insider podcast. For more hockey coverage, visit The Rink Live.

Competition is heating up in Ohio amongst U.S. Senate candidates as they gear up for their primary on May 3rd. As endorsements pile in for front runners like Josh Mandel, who's supported by Texas Senator Ted Cruz, Mike Gibbons, who's backed by Florida Congresswoman Kat Cammack, and J.D. Vance, who received the highly sought-after endorsement of former President Donald Trump, all three candidates believe they have the proper support to see success on Election Day. Today, Ohio Republican Senate candidate Josh Mandel joins The Rundown to discuss why he's confident he can become Ohio's next senator without President Trump's endorsement, the role his faith plays in his politics, and how he plans to serve Ohioans if elected. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin recently returned from a trip to Kyiv where they met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. During that trip, it was announced that the United States would pledge more military aid and begin sending back American diplomats to Ukraine. Shortly after the meeting, Russia continued its attacks on the country by bombing five train stations and fuel facilities, leaving many to wonder how much this assistance can really help. Dr. Rebecca Grant, FOX News Contributor and President of IRIS Independent Research, joins The Rundown to discuss the cabinet secretaries' trip, and takes a deeper look into Russia's military tactics. Plus, commentary by Fox Nation host Tammy Bruce. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Justin is LIVE from the trail of the GOP Senate primary in Ohio. JD Vance (flanked by the Trumps) is charging in to the lead of this race. One of the former frontrunners, Mike Gibbons, seems a bit lost. Josh Mandel remains the grassroots favorite but can he fire up enough to hold off the Trump Train? All roads lead to a pivotal moment Saturday night when President Trump holds a rally in rural Ohio... will there be enough Mandel supporters to boo Vance? If there isn't, is this race over?
