Label: Profile 5084Year: 1986Condition: M-Price: $9.00Essential mid-1980s techno dance pop, served up with a dollop of quirky humor. Flip is an instrumental version. This 45 has a dramatically edited version of the 6:05 album track. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Profile Records factory sleeve. It looks Near Mint and has pristine Mint sound!
Label: Capitol 4565Year: 1978Condition: MPrice: $15.00Essential Disco... Remember that guitar? That break? It's always great to hear this one again. Note: This beautiful 45 record has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio), and the picture sleeve is Near Mint with just a touch of wear.
Label: Double Shot 104Year: 1966Condition: M-Price: $25.00This is one of the essential singles in the history of Psychedelic Rock. The flip is terrific too... I wonder how they got so paranoid? This is a first pressing, with the label name at the top of the label. Note: This beautiful copy has Near Mint labels with a touch of wear. The vinyl (styrene) looks Near Mint with a few scuffs, and the audio sounds pristine Mint! (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
Label: Dimension 1013Year: 1963Condition: M-Price: $30.00Not one of Little Eva's big hits, but definitely a worthy destination for fans of Girl Group Rock... check out the mp3 "snippet" I've posted for the A side. Note: This beautiful copy has Near Mint labels, with a small abrasion on the A side. The vinyl and audio grade Near Mint ... the A side audio is pristine!
Label: Atco 6359Year: 1965Condition: M-Price: $25.00This is one of the nicest copies of this classic single that I've had to offer since opening the store in 2001... a solid Near Mint copy with Mint audio. Check out the mp3 "snippet". (Collector's note: This release is common in conditions less than Near Mint, but copies in truly collectable condition are quite rare.) It's also worth noting that this single appears on both the Dave Marsh Top 1,001 Singles (#228) and the Rolling Stone Top 500 Songs (#451) lists! That's one of the reasons it's hard to keep in stock! Also check out Sonny Bono's stab at Garage Rock on the B side... it's really pretty nasty! :-) Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Atco Records factory sleeve. The labels grade Near Mint with a touch of wear. The vinyl looks Near Mint with a few light scuffs, and the audio sounds pristine Mint.
Label: Liberty 55829Year: 1965Condition: M-Price: $25.00Classic Garage, plus a terrific flip. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Liberty Records factory sleeve. The labels are Near Mint with a touch of ringwear, more so on the B label. The vinyl looks Near Mint with a touch of scuffing. The audiio is very close to Mint.
Label: MGM 13567Year: 1966Condition: M-Price: $20.00British singer Farlowe had success with a number of Jagger-Richards compositions in the mid-1960's, including this one also produced by Mick Jagger. Jagger has brought in arranger Art Greenslade for this recording, who adds some very effective and arty touches to the lesser-known Stones classic. Check out the mp3 "snippet" of the song. "Out Of Time" was on the U.K. version of the Stones LP Aftermath, but it was left off of the U.S. version for some reason, winding up on a compilation LP the following year. The Stones didn't release the song as a single, letting Farlowe's Jagger-produced version become a #1 hit in the U.K. and producing his only brush with the U.S. Hot 100. In the U.S., Farlowe's 45 was a non-album single. Note: This beautiful copy has a drillhole and comes in a vintage MGM Records factory sleeve. It grades Near Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
Label: Shelter 40238 djYear: 1974Condition: M-Last Price: $10.00. Not currently available for sale.Stereo/Mono promo copy. This is one of Cale's greatest tracks that nobody ever heard... absolutely delicious to the ear. Have a listen to the mp3 "snippet" to hear what I mean. Note: This beautiful promo 45 grades Near Mint across the board, with the labels having a small date penned on one side, a small stamp on the other. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
Label: Lenox 5555Year: 1962Condition: M-Price: $22.00One of my personal all-time favorites: When "Little Esther" Phillips starts singing, I literally get goosebumps — the recording's that powerful! And what a voice! Note: This copy has nearly pristine-looking labels and Near Mint vinyl. The audio is close to Mint, with just a touch of surface noise.
Label: Stone Flower 9001Year: 1970Condition: M-Price: $8.00This is a beautiful Near Mint stock copy in its original factory sleeve. Some of Sly Stone's best work outside of the Family Stone recordings... both sides! (This scan is a representative image from our archives--the copy for sale has NO drillhole).
Label: Columbia 11388Year: 1980Condition: MLast Price: $10.00. Not currently available for sale. From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original factory sleeve. This is one of two great, hard-to-find singles released from the Rockpile album Seconds of Pleasure. Rockpile was a band formed by Nick Lowe and Dave Edmunds. Of the two singles, this was the first, and also the only one that charted. Note: This beautiful stock copy has Mint labels and pristine audio. The vinyl (styrene) is graded Near Mint to reflect some faint storage wear.
Label: Elektra 45720Year: 1971Condition: M-Last Price: $18.00. Not currently available for sale.I still think this is my favorite Bread track... the lyrics are hopelessly romantic, but that's just what you want when you're hopelessly in love. And the arrangement suits the mood perfectly. David Gates has concocted a perfect Pop confection that should not be dismissed merely because it is so. The sheer beauty of the music, song, voice, lyrics literally brings me to tears when I'm in a certain mood. The vision of my dear wife coming and "pouring herself on me" when I'm feeling down, and of our ultimately "flying away" from our worldly cares and woes together, evokes such poignancy for me that I feel it's happening... as the music plays. I finally found a copy of with audio good enough to record for my iTunes library, but when I began to make the mp3 "snippet" for Classic 45s, I simply could not find a reasonable place to edit this nearly perfect musical "poem," so I ended up including the entire 2:33 song as the snippet. If you are inclined to dismiss Bread and David Gates, do me a favor and listen to the entirety of the snippet. This level of creativity in Soft Rock definitely deserves our 2-star recommendation, and I hope you agree. Enjoy! Note: This beautiful copy comes in a Near Mint picture sleeve with no notable flaws. The labels look Mint, and the vinyl (styrene) looks almost Mint. Fortunately, this copy, while not perfect, is close enough to earn a rare (for this pressing) Near Mint audio rating. Have a listen to the snippet, and you'll agree you can imagine a more perfect rendition, but you have to admit this Mono mix is gorgeous!

Label: Atlanta Artists 818384Year: 1984Condition: M-Price: $6.50This is a beautiful Near Mint stock copy. Essential 1980s Rap/Funk. This is an edited version of the 7:12 album track. The audio is very close to Mint.
Label: Philly Groove 175Year: 1973Condition: M-Price: $12.00 Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Bell Records factory sleeve. It has light storage wear that lowers the Labels and Vinyl grades to Near Mint. The audio sounds pristine Mint.
Label: B.T. Puppy 519Year: 1966Condition: M-Price: $20.00Typically fabulous Tokens outing... half surf/beach sound, half doo-wop. That's one of the combinations that defines Sunshine Pop, in fact. The flip is in the same "breezy" vein. The vinyl grades a weak Near Mint with visible hairlines, but the audio is much closer to Mint than not. The picture sleeve grades Near Mint with a partial tear where the hole of the 45 would sit.
Label: Epic 10345Year: 1968Condition: MLast Price: $35.00. Not currently available for sale. Here's an especially beautiful copy of one of the most interesting tracks in Donovan's catalogue. Here is a description from the wordiq.com website: Released in May 1968, his next single was the swirling psychedelic nugget 'The Hurdy Gurdy Man', a song he originally intended for his old friend and guitar mentor Mac MacLeod who had a heavy rock band called Hurdy Gurdy. Donovan had also considered giving it to Jimi Hendrix, but when Mickie Most heard it, he convinced Donovan that the song was a sure-fire single and that he should record it himself. Donovan tried to get Hendrix to play on the recording, but he was on tour and unavailable for the session. In his place they brought in a brilliant young British guitarist, Allan Holdsworth. Jimmy Page also played on the session, and it is believed that John Paul Jones may have played bass with (possibly) John Bonham on drums. If so, this would make it the first recorded performance featuring the three future members of Led Zeppelin. Both Jones and Page have stated that the idea of Led Zeppelin was formed during the Hurdy Gurdy Man sessions. The B side is a non-album track. Note: This beautiful copy has Mint labels and comes with simply awesome sound. The picture sleeve is Near Mint with one tiny tear at the top edge.
Label: Arista 0200Year: 1976Condition: M-Last Price: $15.00. Not currently available for sale. This is simply one of Carmen's very best singles outside of his work with the Raspberries: So tuneful, with such a propulsive beat it's gotta rate 2 stars! The only fault I can find is that the song should have been a much bigger hit than it was. And don't neglect the B side... it's another melt-in-your-mouth rocker from Carmen's debut album you must make part of your Carmen/Raspberries collection. By the way, the A side is an edited version of the 5:21 album track. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Arista Records factory sleeve. It has Near Mint labels and vinyl, and pritine Mint audio.
Label: SGC 001Year: 1968Condition: MPrice: $60.00This is the first release of this much-released single, on the light tan label with no horizontal lines. The single was released again in 1970 on a light green (with some yellow) label. Though the A side is the band's most famous song and was a hit again for Nazz's guitarist and songwriter, Todd Rundgren, in 1973 -- in fact, it was Rundgren's biggest hit and only top 10 single -- my personal fave is the terrific, snarly B side. Rundgren had clearly been listening to the Who, but that's OK: It's a great song and a great sound! That Nazz and SGC thought so, too, is evidenced by the fact that "Open My Eyes" was actually the original A side of the single. As the chart information shows, "Eyes" charted nearly 6 months before "Hello" started up the chart. All in all, this is a nearly Mint copy of a classic single, the first from a Pennsylvania band led by one of the most important figures in American rock'n'roll during the 1970's. Even though he wasn't a consistent hitmaker himself, Todd Rundgren brought a large number of important artists to the studio and became a studio engineer/producer of even higher esteem than as a solo singer/musician. Note: This copy looks new with a drillhole. The sleeve is Near Mint and also has a drillhole. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
Label: Double Shot 104Year: 1966Condition: M-Last Price: $25.00. Not currently available for sale. One of the absolutely essential singles in the history of Psychedelic Rock. The flip is terrific too... I wonder how they got so paranoid? This is the first pressing, with the label name at the top of the label. Note: This beautiful copy has Near Mint labels with a hint of ringwear. The vinyl looks untouched, and the audio is very close to Mint. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
Label: Hot Wax 7110Year: 1971Condition: M-Price: $12.00This is one of the group's harder singles to find, but I actually prefer it to their bigger hits. Note: This beautiful copy grades Near Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
Label: London 1061Year: 1975Condition: M-Price: $11.00This is a terrific Philly-Style soul dancer! The song is great, and the arrangement is awesome. Though a hit on the RnB/Black singles chart, it fizzled on the pop chart... too bad, cause it's a definite keeper. I'm sticking a snippet in the jukebox to keep it close by. :-) Note: This beautiful copy grades Near Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
Label: Geffen 28175Year: 1987Condition: MPrice: $9.00This release proves that Robertson could still write a damn great song, play a mean guitar, and sing an angry tale long after he parted ways with Levon Helm and the rest of the legendary rock group known as The Band. It's also a grim reminder of how scary the world was in 1987, before the U.S. and the Soviet Union finally ended the cold war. If you missed this terrific single the first time around, be sure to check it out now... we've put a snippet into the Classic 45's Jukebox for you. Note: This beautiful copy has light storage wear that lowers the Label grade to Near Mint. The wax and audio are pristine. The picture sleeve grades Near Mint.

Label: WB 7733Year: 1973Condition: M-Price: $14.00The A side is swinging Northern Soul at its danceable best! Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Warner/Reprise Records factory sleeve. It looks new (Labels, Vinyl), but the audio has light surface noise that keeps it a weak Near Mint.
Label: Columbia 43678Year: 1966Condition: MLast Price: $40.00. Not currently available for sale. This is one of this group's finest singles. It's not only got the familiar Garage-style hit on the A side, but you'll find a neat, catchy, Beatlesque rocker on the flip. Great package! I'm glad to see Dave Marsh includes it in his list, because if it weren't there it would definitely get 2 stars from me! :-) I hope you enjoy the mp3 snippet as much as I do. Speaking of which, fans of short songs take note: "There She Goes" has a clock time of only 1:45! Note: This beautiful copy comes in a Near Mint picture sleeve, which has no notable flaws. This vinyl pressing has Mint labels and pristine sound.
Label: Sire 28630Year: 1986Condition: M-Last Price: $9.00. Not currently available for sale. From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original picture sleeve. The terrific B side is specially edited from a much longer (6:34) album version. Despite notable scuffing on the vinyl, the audio is a strong Near Mint. The picture sleeve is also Near Mint with the beginning of a bottom split seam, light top edge wear and some ringwear in the white background areas of the sleeve.
Label: Date 1642Year: 1969Condition: M-Price: $25.00Here's a dynamite Northern Soul dancer you won't want to miss... have a listen to the mp3 "snippet"! The B side is a fine keeper as well. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Date Records factory sleeve. It grades Near Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
Label: Capitol 4932Year: 1963Condition: M-Price: $35.00This is a beautiful copy of the Beach Boys' first top 10 hit, which also had a Top 40 B side -- one of their greatest "Car" songs. Note: This 45 record comes in a vintage Capitol Records factory sleeve. It has Near Mint labels and vinyl, and pristine Mint audio!
Label: Columbia 11388Year: 1980Condition: M-Price: $10.00This is one of two great, hard-to-find singles released from the Rockpile album Seconds of Pleasure.
Label: Kapp 593Year: 1964Condition: M-Price: $18.00If you wanna hear some truly great power pop, flip this one over and check out the B side (click on the "play" button to hear the audio from our mp3 "jukebox"). A definite A+ in my book! Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Kapp Records factory sleeve. The labels have a bit of ringwear, but the vinyl looks Near Mint, and the audio is almost pristine. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
Label: EMI 8132Year: 1982Condition: M-Last Price: $14.00. Not currently available for sale. This record comes in a Near Mint copy of the release's cool picture sleeve. Supplies of this particular sleeve ran out quickly, as I recall, when the 45 became a hit, so they don't turn up unless you bought the record pretty quickly on its release. And when you a find a used copy with the sleeve, invariably the sleeve has not been well cared for. By the way, the B side is a terrific non-LP cut: A Rockabilly cover of the Holland-Dozier-Holland hit for the Supremes. They're pointing out, of course, how similar the Supremes tune's rhythm is to Rockabilly. :-) Note: This 45 has Near Mint labels and vinyl, and pristine Mint audio.
Label: Dial 4026Year: 1966Condition: M-Price: $25.00I first heard the excellent B side as done by Rockpile (Dave Edmunds and Nick Lowe), but there's nothing to beat the original. How does stuff like this get buried on the B side of 45's? Who knows, but that's one reason why 45 collecting is so rewarding! Of course, the A side on this one is wonderful too. Note: This copy has a small drillhole and comes in a vintage Atlantic-Atco Records factory sleeve. It grades very close to Mint in appearance (Labels, Vinyl) and has Near Mint sound with a minimum of light surface noise.
Label: Dunhill/ABC 4335Year: 1973Condition: M-Price: $12.00This was the group's last chart single for Dunhill... and still a pure bubblegum joy! Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage ABC/Dunhill Records factory sleeve. It has Near Mint labels (the B label has a small stain where a sticker was removed) and nearly pristine wax... The audio sounds Mint. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
Label: Atlantic/Melisma 93896Year: 2005Condition: MPrice: $12.00From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy. This remarkable single features the artist's two biggest-selling iTunes tracks... the B side is a bigger seller than the A side, though both are terrific and quite different. The B side is from his second album, while the decidedly funky A side is currently available only as a single. Note: This copy has light storage wear that lowers the Label grade to Near Mint. The wax and audio are pristine.
Label: MGM 13721Year: 1967Condition: M-Last Price: $20.00. Not currently available for sale.Credited to "Eric Burdon & The Animals," this is the group's finest foray into psychedelic rock. Every time I hear the opening guitar growl, it's obvious where Black Sabbath got the inspiration for the similar opening growl to "Iron Man." Now in the Classic 45's jukebox, cause it's one of those nuggets that just doesn't get played often enough. The big mystery to me is why Dave Marsh left it off his list of the 1,001 greatest 45s of Rock'n'Soul. It would definitely be on my list (if I ever make one!) For one thing, this is a single that was not included on any contemporary Animals album ? this was a previously unreleased, non-LP single. The two sides eventually got added to an Animals compilation CD, but you won't find them anywhere on vinyl (to my knowledge) except on this little 45 record. (And may I say how incredible the audio is? Stunning doesn't come close!) Note: This beautiful copy has a drillhole and comes in a vintage MGM Records factory sleeve. The vinyl has some notable scuffs, particularly on the B side, grading a strong EX. Miraculously, the audio comes through clean Near Mint with just a touch of surface noise here and there. (This scan is a representative image from our archives--the copy for sale has NO drillhole)
Label: ABC 11338Year: 1972Condition: M Last Price: $15.00. Not currently available for sale. This essential single has a delightful 3:57 edited version of the much longer LP cut. Note: This copy comes in a vintage ABC Records factory sleeve. The Labels and Audio are pristine Mint, with the Vinyl grading just shy of that at Near Mint.
Label: U.A. 874Year: 1976Condition: MPrice: $9.00From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original factory sleeve. Now, here's an interesting single: The A side is a pleasing, mid tempo Country/Folk Rocker, the group's only chart tune; the flip is more adventurous, with an infectious rhythm that proves as catchy as the hit side. Behind the great grooves is a short-lived "supergroup" with an impressive pedigree: Craig Fuller (Pure Prairie League), Eric Kaz (Blues Magoos), Steve Katz (Blood, Sweat & Tears) and Doug Yule (Velvet Underground). Oh, also, at the production wheel is famed Beatles producer George Martin. Both tracks are from the "American Flyer" LP, though the A side label notes that this recording is a "Re-mix by Nick Jameson," so it may be a bit different than the album cut. The B side is edited from a 3:10 album track. Note: This copy has pristine Mint labels and audio, and the vinyl (styrene) is graded Near Mint to reflect a couple of light storage-wear scuffs.
Label: Atlantic 2605Year: 1969Condition: M-Price: $8.00From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy with a drillhole. Did Clarence Carter make ANY bad singles? Well, the closest he came may have been 'Patches,' which is the one most folks know since it was his biggest hit. But even 'Patches' has its charms. The rest are masterpieces of soul, like this one. By the way, it's the Deep Soul flip of this 45 that made Dave Marsh's list all the way up at #61... not that the Funky uptempo A side is unworthy of your affection! Have a listen to the mp3 snippet to see what I mean. Note: These copies may have some very light storage wear, which is why the Vinyl is graded Near Mint. The drillhole may appear at a different spot than shown in the scan.
Label: Volt 4058Year: 1971Condition: M-Last Price: $18.00. Not currently available for sale.God, I love this song! Nothing but the best from beginning to end. This single's A side -- the hit version of the song -- is slightly edited from a 3:56 album track. This is the first issue on the blue Volt label. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Volt Records factory sleeve. It has Near Mint labels, and the vinyl looks only lightly touched. The audio is close to Mint. (This scan is a representative image from our archives; this copy does NOT have a drillhole.)
Label: Parkway 904Year: 1964Condition: M-Price: $18.00Here's a beautiful copy of this rarely seen and seldom heard 1964 Doo Wop nugget, which I like so much I've added an mp3 "snippet" to our jukebox... Have a listen! Note: This copy grades Near Mint across the board. The label grade reflects a tiny date inked on the B label.
Label: Flip 321 djYear: 1957Condition: M-Last Price: $70.00. Not currently available for sale. This is a beautiful white-label promotional copy of the single where all the 'Louie Louie' versions began... ya gotta hear this one! Check out the mp3 "snippet"! By the way, this 45 had a variant with 'You Are My Sunshine' on the flip. Credited to Richard Berry and The Pharaohs. Note: This promo 45 has Near Mint labels with the promotional language marked out (see scan). The vinyl looks Near Mint, and the audio grades very close to Mint.
Label: ABC/TRC 10865Year: 1966Condition: M-Price: $35.00Here's a beautiful copy of this dynamite Northern Soul dancer, with a rhythm section that just won't quit! Absolutely essential Ray Charles. This amazing 45 appears to be a non-album single. Note: This copy comes in a vintage ABC-Paramount Records factory sleeve. The labels are Mint except for a tiny dabs of gold paint. which lowers the grade to Near Mint. The vinyl looks untouched, and the audio grades pristine Mint. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
Label: RCA 0234Year: 1974Condition: M-Last Price: $16.00. Not currently available for sale. Finally! Here's a beautiful copy of the original release of this amazing love song, in its first incarnation by the song's writer, the great Dolly Parton. This first release was her followup to "Jolene" and came from the same album. This is the first time I've had the original in the store, and I believe this is the best version of "I Will Always Love You" you can find! Parton topped the charts again in 1982 with a new version of the song, and of course Whitney Houston showed the good taste to record the song in 1992, thereby finally bringing its charms to the pop and soul masses. Inspired by this revival, Dolly teamed up with Vince Gill to record the tune again in 1995! Note: This copy comes in a vintage RCA Records factory sleeve. It grades Near Mint across the board, including the very soft audio, which does have a touch of surface noise in the first few seconds.
Label: Atco 6359Year: 1965Condition: MLast Price: $25.00. Not currently available for sale. This is one of the nicest copies of this classic single that I've had to offer since opening the store in 2001... fine enough to grade Mint overall. Check out the mp3 "snippet"... truly stunning audio. Its labels are very close to Mint, held back by a whisper of ringwear. The vinyl (as opposed to styrene) looks untouched, and the audio is squeaky clean, pristine Mint... both sides!
Label: Epic 9790Year: 1965Condition: MLast Price: $45.00. Not currently available for sale. Here's a remarkably beautiful copy of this 1960s Rock classic, impossible to find in decent condition but a single I always try to keep in stock. This time I lucked out: This copy miraculously retains pristine audio — so special I recorded it quickly to iTunes and then made an mp3 snippet so you can hear for yourself! "For Your Love" was this seminal Hard Rock group's first and biggest U.S. hit. If I'm not mistaken, this is the combination of Yardbirds that found Jeff Beck playing lead guitar. As I recall, Eric Clapton left the group earlier in 1965, sort of in protest to the other members' interest in abandoning pure Blues and RnB for a catchy pop song like "For Your Love." All I can say is, "For Your Love" may be a catchy pop song as done by some other band, but this Yardbirds manage to put a muscular, almost sinister cast to the number, making it a prime example of hard rock, in the style being hammered out by bands like the Rolling Stones and Animals at the time. Note: This copy comes in a vintage Epic Records factory sleeve. The labels are Mint, and the vinyl (styrene) grades Near Mint, reflecting very faint storage wear. The audio sounds flawless, as far as I can detect (not using headphones but with loud, top-grade reference speakers blasting within 2 feet of my ears). Have a listen to the snippet and see what I mean. (Again, the price reflects a premium for the unbelievably wonderful audio, one of the best I've ever had.) The labels show no track times.

Label: Cadence 1366Year: 1959Condition: M-Last Price: $40.00. Not currently available for sale. What a cool release... The A side is an out-and-out girl group take on the Coasters' "Yakety Yak" chore troubles, while the B side features Jeff Kron speaking the blues about his car troubles, accompanied by the Chordettes. Great picture sleeve, too... both sides are different. This is one of only two Chordettes picture sleeves that were released, and it's definitely the best one. Oh, and if that isn't enough, both tracks feature King Curtis at his honking best on the tenor sax. Note: This beautiful copy has Near Mint labels with a faint name on them (hard to see). The audio sounds very close to Mint. The picture sleeve is Near Mint.
Label: ABC-Pmt. 10329Year: 1962Condition: M-Last Price: $25.00. Not currently available for sale.Is this classic early Bubblegum? Or late Buddy Holly? Whatever, Roe's Holly impression is spot-on, and ultimately the song and recording succeed on their own, as a truly brilliant reworking of "Peggy Sue." I tend to think of it as Bubblegum because you really have to get in touch with your long lost, pubescent self to appreciate the simple, romantic sentiments Roe sings of. If you can't summon yourself as a 14-year-old, you simply won't understand part of the enduring appeal of Bubblegum Rock. (Another of its enduring appeals is its danceability: All Bubblegum Rock is made for dancing!) Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage ABC-Paramount Records factory sleeve. It has Near Mint labels and vinyl. The audio is outstanding and close to Mint.
This time, we have three stops to discuss. First, we talk about the latest pass member event at Universal Studios Hollywood. Next, we hop over to a Bionic reunion at the Hollywood Show. Then, we close things out with the best vibes at Near Mint Sundays. Listen in and enjoy! THANK YOU to all who support us on Patreon!
