The NFC Divisional Round game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams here in the 2024-2025 season is now in the books! The Eagles defeated the Rams by a score of 28-22 down at The Linc. The Eagles now look to the NFC Championship Game where they will face the Washington Commanders in Philly. It's going to be an incredible game.Jalen Hurts certainly didn't play his best football of the year, but it was enough to help the Eagles win, especially with his 44-yard touchdown run in the first quarter that helped set the tone for the offense. While the wide receivers disappointed in this game, Saquon Barkley did not. He ran for 205 yards on the ground (plus 27 yards catching the ball) on 16 carries, and two touchdowns.Vic Fangio's defense played well and placed pressure on Matt Stafford in the game when it truly counted. While the snow elements provided some challenges, the pass rush, rushing defense, and secondary played a complete game. One of our themes, however, was the many plays left on the field by the defense. As always, we gave our top themes, thoughts and opinions from the game on offense, defense, and special teams, and then graded each unit on both sides of the ball, as well as the coaching staff. It was great to have our friend of the pod Matt Rogers from The Honorable Mention Podcast join us this week for our analysis.Head over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.com.Follow us on BlueSky:Jeff: @jeffwarren.bsky.socialErik: @brickpollitt.bsky.socialFollow us on Threads:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstableFollow us on Twitter/X:Jeff: @Jeffrey_WarrenErik: @BrickPollittThe Show: @PhiladelphiaPSTFollow the show on Instagram: instagram.com/philadelphiasportstable.
Yesterday in Philadelphia, the Eagles confronted the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs on a chilling day. Following the Washington Commanders' surprising victory over the Detroit Lions on Saturday night, a win over the Rams positioned Philadelphia favorably in their Super Bowl pursuit. Saquon Barkley replicated his impressive Week 12 performance, scoring two long touchdown runs against the Rams. However, Jalen Hurts and Quinyon Mitchell both experienced injuries during the match. Initial reports indicate that both players are expected to return for the NFC Championship game on Sunday, where the Eagles will face off against the Commanders led by Jayden Daniels.

Green Bay Packers vs. Philadelphia Eagles NFL Pick Prediction 9/6/2024 by Tony T. Packers at Eagles—Game played in Brazil. Both teams' starters are healthy. Green Bay caught fire late and took a four-game win streak into the NFC Divisional Round falling shot with a 24-21 road loss at San Francisco after beating Dallas 48-32 in the Wildcard Round. Philadelphia was eliminated in the playoffs 32-9 at Tampa Bay in the Wildcard Round. Jordon Love in his final seven games of the season completed 70.4% of his passes with 15 touchdowns and 3 picks. A key addition was signing running back Josh Jacobs. Jalen Hurts saw some drop last year with a 65.4% completion rate and 7.2 yards per pass attempt. Saquon Barkley comes over from the Giants. But after averaging 5 yards a carry then 4.6 in his first two seasons there has been a major slide in production.
