Marjorie Taylor Greene has gone from "butt of Bill Maher jokes" to "guest on Bill Maher's show," in a span of five-ish years, but the pace with which it occurred just within the year 2025 is what's so breathtaking. It's almost as if the MAGA stalwart is coming to grips with "buyer's remorse" right before our eyes and ears. Make no mistake: she still adores Donald Trump; but she disagrees with him AND their Republican Party an awful lot. Where's this going? ------Hey, so what's up with so many of Donald's Cabinet officials holing up on military bases? Do they know something we don't or as my 'Paradise' paranoia (referring to the ABC/Hulu series) getting the better of me? Even MTG was unaware of this.Also, why is the Pentagon putting together 500-unit National Guard "rapid response units" in each state? ------Sunday night we got to see President Donald Trump's sit down (or lean into with the ridiculously long tie dangling perilously close to the ground) with '60 Minutes' Norah O'Donnell. Plenty to dissect there, but can I just say - I thought Norah did as credible a job as is possible when entering the cage with a feral individual like Donald. I mean, he got checked by her plenty, and he didn't sneer or call her a 'nasty woman' or storm off in a huff (that we know of). It's the little things, no?His ironic embrace of 'Insurrection Act' logic isn't lost on me, though it's lost on American history. Nor is it lost on me he's gone well beyond his campaign rhetoric by continuing to have ICE deport non-criminal immigrants, despite his own enterprises having relied on their labor time and time again.

On today's podcast:1) President Trump sat down with CBS' 60 Minutes - as heard on Bloomberg Radio - for a long-ranging discussion on the government shutdown, tariffs, and border security. Trump says immigration raids “haven’t gone far enough” despite videos showing physical confrontations among federal agents, immigrants and protesters. Trump also said that he could use the Insurrection Act to use professional military, instead of the National Guard, to US cities “if I wanted to.” The president’s comments come after his administration expanded a federal program that deputizes local police to enforce immigration laws, signing up nearly 16,000 officers across 40 states as part of an effort to boost deportations, according to data reviewed by Bloomberg News. 2) President Trump said he would skip attending the Supreme Court hearing this week over the legality of his worldwide tariffs regime. The court is scheduled on Wednesday to hear Trump’s appeal of a lower court’s ruling that many of his “Liberation Day” tariffs exceeded the president’s emergency power to regulate imports. Trump had said he felt an “obligation” to watch in person as the Supreme Court weighed his power to impose tariffs. If he had attended, he would have been the first sitting president in US history to attend oral arguments at the high court.3) The summit between Chinese President Xi Jinping and President Trump was a breakthrough in bilateral relationship where the Asian giant was treated as an “equal partner” of the US, according to David Daokui Li, a regular policy adviser to Beijing. Speaking to Bloomberg TV on Monday, Li described a sense of enthusiasm among his peers in Beijing following the leaders’ meeting in South Korea last week. On Thursday's Mark Levin Show, John Bolton has been indicted on 18 counts by a federal grand jury in Maryland for mishandling classified information, including 8 counts of transmission and 10 counts of retention of national defense information. But this indictment is not retribution but a serious breach by someone who knew better, despite the Biden administration previously dropping a related investigation. Also, Rep Elise Stefanik responded to a NY Times reporter's inquiry about her labeling Zohran Mamdani a jihadist.  She responded in the best way possible – “I call Zohran Mamdani a jihadist because he is. Zohran Mamdani is a raging antisemite.” NY Times wants to give Mamdani cover, just like they did with the Holocaust.  Later, there's a Wall Street Journal article portraying the Trump administration's IRS overhaul—installing allies in the criminal division and reducing lawyer involvement—as a means to politically probe left-leaning groups. It's necessary to investigate George Soros-funded organizations tied to terrorism, Marxism, and efforts to overthrow the U.S. and other nations. This move address serious threats beyond politics, and it's a good thing that the Treasury Secretary is pursuing it. Afterward, Democrat-led cities and states are defying federal immigration laws by declaring themselves sanctuaries. President Trump is going to have to invoke the Insurrection Act—used 28 times historically, such as by Eisenhower against segregationists—to counter resistance from governors and mayors who block ICE and incite violence. On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show, no, PM Benjamin Netanyahu didn't prolong the Gaza war for personal political gain, these claims overlook the strategic benefits of his persistence. Let's talk about Trump's Insurrection Act moves being undercut by the courts....

This week on the Mark Levin Show, what's taking place in these blue cities and states, like Los Angeles, Portland, Chicago, is nothing short of breakaway government that defy federal immigration laws and the Constitution. Mayors and governors, such as California's Newsom and Illinois' Pritzker, instruct local police to stand down, allowing riots by illegal aliens, their supporters, Antifa, and other groups to physically attack federal agents like ICE and obstruct deportations of criminals. The Insurrection Act has been used multiple times in our history, since 1808, by Democrat and Republican presidents in cases like this. Not only must law and order be restored, but so, too, must our constitutional system against these new Democrat Confederates. Later, the West is committing suicide through weakness, appeasement, and open borders, allowing a fusion of Marxists and Islamists to exploit democratic systems via immigration. It is very important that we get the hostages out of Gaza, but it's also important that Hamas is destroyed, because they will come back again. It is an ideology that doesn't die, and the West doesn't understand the ideology, or people in the West don't want to deal with it. Anti-Semitism is spreading in Western capitals, including New York. It's a gut cancer and President Trump is the only Western leader fighting it through actions on colleges, funding, and preventing U.S. decline like Britain and France. The insurrection act has been used at least 20 times starting in 1808. President Trump has to use it because we have Democrats who refuse to follow the law. Right now, we have a Democrat party usurping the Constitution. Governors and cities are not in charge of immigration. They don't have the power to prevent ICE from doing their job. The Trump peace plan for Gaza has two phases, which is genius. Phase one, to be implemented immediately through early next week, involves Israel ending its siege on Gaza and withdrawing to an intermediary line covering 52% of the territory, in exchange for the release of all 48 hostages (20 believed alive) and the freeing of nearly 2,000 terrorists and criminals from Israeli prisons, including 250 severe offenders and mass murderers. Phase two is the dirty work, it requires disarming, dispersing, and removing Hamas from Gaza, with governance and demilitarization details still being worked out; failure to execute it voids the agreement.
