1. Week 1 Reactions -Biggest Lesson Learned (DKrom: Long Snappers Matter, Hal: What was going on in the AFC South?) -GOAT of the Week (DKrom: Brian Daboll, Hal: Jalen Hurts & Nick Sirianni) -DUNCE of the Week (DKrom: Nathaniel Hackett, Hal: Atlanta Falcons) 2. Barring a slew of significant injuries, should anything less than a Lombardi Trophy in 2022 be considered an absolute failure for the Bills? 3. Do you think the Cowboys are making a mistake by rushing Dak Prescott back with such an injury, especially given the inept supporting cast he now has? 4. Truth or Exaggeration -Justin Jefferson will lead the NFL in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving TD's in 2022 a la Cooper Kupp last season in a Kevin O'Connell offense -The New York Giants will start the season 4-0 -The Rams, in large part due to their OL issues, will not win the NFC West this season -The Houston Texans and the Chicago Bears will be a tough out for any team this season -Cardinals DC Vance Joseph severely damaged his status as a prospective head-coaching candidate with his ludicrous game plan to constantly blitz Patrick Mahomes 5. Chargers at Chiefs -Can you see the Chargers using the “rush three, drop eight” approach on Thursday night for at least some snaps? -A few weeks ago, Patrick Mahomes told reporters that fantasy owners couldn't depend on Chiefs WR's this season because each week, somebody different would be the main guy. Which one of those wideouts do you think will be his best friend against a Chargers defense that might be getting J.C. Jackson back this week? Does the unpredictability of who he'll be targeting each week somehow make this Chiefs offense equally as dangerous as the Tyreek Hill years? -Key matchups: Chris Jones vs. Corey Linsley/Zion Johnson et al, George Karlaftis/Frank Clark vs. Trey Pipkins, Khalil Mack vs. Andrew Wylie, Mike Williams/Josh Palmer et al vs. Jaylen Watson (7th-round rookie from Washington State) -Picks 6. BOLD PREDICTIONS -DKrom: Texans beat Broncos 31-20. Difference in the game is Broncos drive the ball inside the five twice in the second half…and both drives end up in pick-6's (one by Derek Stingley, Jr., the other by Jalen Pitre) -Hal: Trevor Lawrence totals 5 TD's (4 pass, 1 rush) and 400 yards (375 passing yards, 25 rushing yards) 8. CHALLENGE FLAGS -DKrom: Sean McVay, get more unpredictable on first down -Hal: Kevin Stefanski and Cleveland Browns…keep running Chubb and Hunt 30+ times a game and win every winnable game
More bad news for the Dallas Cowboys The Lakers getting Patrick Beverly is a good move, it also says how they feel about Russell Westbrook The Chicago Bears might be looking at a bad season Guest: Kevin ClarkSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

"Andy Dalton makes a lot of sense for the Cowboys" - John Breech on Thursday's episode. Well, Saturday night Dallas decided they agreed and signed the veteran quarterback to a one-year deal (4:35). The Pick Six Superfriends dissect Dalton's new home and how the move affects Dak Prescott, who is still without a long-term contract. The guys highlight the importance of backup QBs and toss out some mildly wild trade scenarios (20:30). Will Brinson, Ryan Wilson, John Breech and Sean Wagner-McGough briefly comment on the Patriots quarterback situation (28:30), before taking a look at the 5th-year option deadline. Mitch Trubisky (31:45) as well of 4 of the Top 5 picks from 2017 had their options declined. Why did that year have such a miss rate at the top? The Cowboys lose in embarrassing fashion. Is their season over? probably yes, but somehow they are till in first in the NFC East, Regardless, this defense is an absolute disgrace. There was nothing positive at all to take from this loss. I see no reason why the Cowboys will pick up their game. Such a disappointing season, and beyond frustrating. 12/5/19 This episode features Tony Landini as our guest. He is from Victorville, California, graduated from Biola University and is the high school youth pastor at Arbor Road Church in Long Beach. We started the show talking about Star Wars, other movies and video games (0:00-11:10). Football this weekend includes Cowboys/Bears, Rams/Seahwaks, Packers/Redskins and Giants/Eagles, so we talked about all of those games in varying detail. The college football rankings came out and we talked about that for a bit, and had a lengthy discussion about Uga, the University of Georgia's mascot bulldog (11:10-36:30). We also talked a lot of basketball, including Tony's Timberwolves, MVP talk, and two LeBron controversies against the Jazz (36:50-1:00:50). From there we transitioned to Tony's athletic career in football and basketball and his eventual decision to focus on school instead (1:00:50-1:17:00). Next we journeyed through Tony's early life, first in Phoenix then a quick stop in Azusa before settling in Victorville. He filled us in about his parents and siblings, and the awesome job his mom has (which resulted once in Tony getting cussed out by NBA great Oscar Robertson!), leading up to how he ended up at Biola (1:17:00-1:40:25). That was an easy transition into Tony's faith journey, becoming a Christian in high school, sparking a faith revival in his family, learning how to navigate relationships, meeting his wife, Natalie, and living on campus at Biola (1:40:25-2:01:05). We finished up with Tony telling us how he got interested in youth ministry and the path he took to get to his current high school pastor position. Host Adam Burke opened up the show with a few quick remarks and then a whole lot of insight and analysis with Brian Blessing of Sportsbook Radio and Vegas Hockey Hotline. The guys started in the NFL with a look back at Week 13 and then a look ahead to Week 14, as they discussed what we saw over the weekend and three games on this week’s card. They talked Cowboys/Bears, Ravens/Bills, and also took a look at 49ers/Saints as three of the more important games of the week. Then they shifted gears to the NHL to take a look around the league as a whole and to also discuss the Tuesday night betting board. Professional handicapper Ralph Michaels from WagerTalk.com also joined Adam to share some college football and college hoops betting tips, picks, and predictions. The guys started on the CFB side during conference championship week with Oregon vs. Utah in the Pac-12, Louisiana vs. App State in the Sun Belt, and Baylor vs. Oklahoma in the Big 12. On the college basketball side, the guys looked around the country for some news, notes, and updates. Then they looked at tonight’s Michigan vs. Louisville and Duke vs. Michigan State games before checking in on tomorrow’s Penn vs. Villanova and Virginia vs. Purdue.
The guys recap the Iron Bowl, look at the possible exodus of underclassmen, and peak at the 2020 schedule. We need advice from teams who've played in these meaningless bowl games. CFB recap. The piss and miss cost Matt Luke his job and blew an Ole Miss cover. Does Kiffin to Fayetteville make sense? Thanksgiving and NFL Sunday Recap. We don't know who to bet on in a gross, but meaningful Thursday night NFL matchup between the Cowboys & Bears. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
