My guest on the show today is Phil Richards, CFO of Corero Network Security plc (AIM: CNS). Corero Network Security is a leading provider of distributed denial of service (DDoS) protection solutions, specializing in automatic detection and protection solutions that includes network visibility, analytics, and reporting tools. Corero's technology provides scalable protection capabilities against both external DDoS attackers and internal DDoS threats, in even the most complex edge and subscriber environments, ensuring internet service availability and uptime. According to Corero's annual DDoS Threat Intelligence Report they recently published, there has been a 300% increase in carpet bomb attacks in 2022 compared to 2021, over seven times as many Mirai-like DDoS attacks in 2022 than in 2021 and twice as many DDoS attacks targeting DNS (Domain Name System) services in 2022 than in 2020. Needless to say, the need for cyber security solutions is on the rise, and I wanted to better understand how Corero is addressing these industry tailwinds, as well as: How Corero's DDoS protection solutions are unique and different compared to their peers Nature of their partnerships with firms like Juniper Networks, which owns 9.9% of Corero From a corporate perspective, being a publicly-traded MicroCap on the AIM exchange Recent financial performance and executive management shake-up; and, Corero's 3-5 year vision for the company and the inflection points that will get them there With that, please enjoy my conversation with Phil Richards, CFO of Corero Network Security. Are you overwhelmed to the point of burnout, pushing through your to-do list when your body is telling you to take a break?Do you keep pushing through and working even when you don't feel well? I've been there. More times than I care to admit…I thought pushing through when I was sick or burnout was normal. Sort of like a badge of honour. Wouldn't my business crash if I dropped the ball for even one day?I learned the hard way the opposite is true. Whenever my health suffers, my business suffers. When I thrive, it thrives. So why don't we give ourselves permission to rest and build a business in a sustainable way? "Female health holds no value in society. We have been conditioned that there is no value within our personal female health." - Abi AdamsAbi Adams is the founder of Project Woman, a confident, feisty space where every woman is invited to feel confident as a woman. Abi is passionate about expanding women's knowledge and raising the bar on feminine health and of working in sync with your period, instead of against it. In this interview, she talks about giving yourself permission to take charge of your own health, use your period as a tool for self-awareness, and so much more. Let's dive in!IN THIS EPISODEWelcome Abi! Her story and why she created Project Woman. Why women don't give themselves permission to trust their intuition and make the best decisions for their life and health - and how to change it.Overcoming people pleasing that keeps women hesitating and asking for permission. The real reason why you're not investing in your health. How to take responsibility for your health and see the help you need, especially when it doesn't come from Western medicine. What advice would Abi give to busy women who need to take time off but feel like they can't?Understanding your period and how to work with its different phases instead of pushing through them for a better quality of life.Parting words and how to connect with Abi.RESOURCESAbi Adams website: https://www.abiadams.co.uk/Abi Adams Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/abiadams_projectwoman/Abi Adams Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AbiAdamsMMA Project Woman website: https://www.abiadams.co.uk/what-is-project-woman Dr. Stacy Sims website: https://www.drstacysims.com/ Phil Richards website: https://www.philrichardsnutritionlab.co.uk Take the Success Archetypes quiz: https://thetreasureswithin.net/quizBook your FREE Discovery Call with Giorgia: https://app.acuityscheduling.com/schedule.php?owner=17213636&appointmentType=11135907Connect with Giorgia on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/itsgiorgiag/ Check out Giorgia's website:...

Getting started as an investor is a daunting task. Even for experienced investors, information overload can be a problem, but for the new investor, it's hard to even know where to look for a starting point. That's the goal of this special mini-series; to provide a starting point for novice investors to begin their journey. In this first part of the series, we'll be discussing issues around personal finance, goal setting, risk and reward, and setting yourself up to get started as an investor. In two weeks' time, we'll do a special episode on equity analysis, that I hope will provide the tools required to begin analysing stocks. Finally, we'll do an episode about portfolio construction and asset allocation – one of the most underappreciated aspects of investing. If you've got any family members or friends that have been asking you about investing, then this is for them. Please consider whether you know anyone who might benefit from this content, and send it their way. This week's guest is Phil Richards, Director and Wealth Advisor at Endorphin Wealth, and Founder of Smart Home Deposit, an online tool to help first home buyers save for a deposit.
