La toile «Boucle perdue», de Paul-Émile Borduas est une toile presque inconnue du public dont le titre a toujours intrigué les critiques d’art. Pour l’historien de l’art Gilles Lapointe, il s’agirait en fait d’un message codé. A blood cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming – whether you are a patient, caregiver, family member or friend. However, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) has a variety of resources available for those affected by blood cancer.   In this week’s episode, we spoke with, the associate director of the Information Resource Center at LLS – an organization that pioneers groundbreaking research in blood cancer, as well as resources like financial support, support groups for patients and caregivers, as well as the LLS Patient Community. As part of this community, patients can join online chats or speak with a counselor.   “What you need when you are first diagnosed may not be what you need in a month or two. So, it changes. And this is why we encourage people to reach out to us,” said Rajotte. “First, it’s important to understand what you are dealing with…being able to reach out and get that information and support so that you don’t feel like you’re going through this alone. Cette semaine, Jean-Pierre Augustin était de passage dans la métropole et il est venu me rendre visite dans mon "studio" d'Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. En jouant une partie de Tiger Woods 2012,  on a parlé largement de musique.  On a effleuré des sujets partant du buzz de chanter sur scène au principe révolutionnaire des lecteurs de cassette auto-reverse.   C'est définitivement le plus musical des émissions que j'ai mis en ligne depuis le début. Ça m'a mené à poser la question à savoir si - éthiquement - c'était acceptable de faire jouer de la musique sur mon podcast sans vraiment avoir les droits pour le faire.  Si ça vous tente de me donner votre avis à ce sujet,  je suis prêt à l'entendre.  Nous on en est venu à la conclusion que ce c'était ben cool d'avoir de la muse pendant le "show".   On a alors décidé de faire un palmarès de 3 albums chaque sur lequel on pensait avoir assez de connaissances pour dire des trucs pertinents (même si au fond,  ce n'est pas la manière qu'on a formulé la patente.) Par la suite,  comme deux génies clueless qui vivent dans le Cimetière des CD, on parle de comment que ça serait hot de créer une application qui garde tes stats d'écoute de musique…    J'ai essayé de pousser une réflexion sur le fait que nos expériences de vie ne nous permettent pas d'apprécier les nouveautés (qui sont en fait des reprises différentes de trucs déjà faits) de la même manière que les enfants peuvent l'apprécier étant donné leur innocence et leur manque d'expérience.  En étant pas clair du tout dans la formulation de mon argumentaire,  j'ai réussi à distraire mon invité au point qu'il a fait un bogey au 8e du Augusta National.  Je n'ai jamais eu le temps d'arriver au bout de ma réflexion, ni de l'exprimer,  mais dans ma tête j'étais rendu pas mal profond.   Bref,  du bon temps entre chums enregistré pour votre plus grand plaisir.    Le deuxième neuf suivra dans les semaines à venir, stay tuned!
