303: In today's episode, I'm joined by Justin Gardner, founder of Active Skin Repair, to discuss why so many people are swapping out traditional products like Neosporin for Hypochlorous acid. We break down how Hypochlorous acid supports the body's natural healing process, why dermatologists have largely moved away from Neosporin, and how this ingredient can be used for everything from cuts, scrapes, bug bites, and sunburns to eczema, acne, and diaper rash. We also discuss the skin microbiome, medical-grade skincare, and what to look for when choosing products for yourself and your family. Topics Discussed: → Why Neosporin May Be Doing More Harm Than Good → What Hypochlorous Acid Actually Is → How To Support Faster Wound Healing → Diaper Rash, Eczema & Skin Issues In Kids → Natural Alternatives For Cuts, Scrapes & Bug Bites → Medical Grade vs Cosmetic Hypochlorous Acid → Acne, Skin Health & The Skin Microbiome → Sunscreen, Sunburns & Everyday Skin Protection Sponsored By: → Active Skin Repair | Support powerful skin healing without harsh or toxic ingredients. During the civil lawsuit filed by Virginia Giuffre against Prince Andrew, the Duke's legal team was widely mocked for appearing to scrape the bottom of the barrel in search of credible character witnesses. Instead of producing anyone with real moral weight or first-hand knowledge to vouch for him, Andrew's defense relied on weak, contradictory claims — including his infamous “I don't sweat” explanation and statements attempting to discredit Giuffre's recollection of events. His lawyers even sought broad discovery into Giuffre's past finances, social life, and mental health, a tactic viewed by many as desperate and irrelevant. The strategy looked less like a robust defense and more like an attempt to sling mud in the absence of evidence or credible allies willing to stand beside him.Observers noted that the Duke's inability to produce legitimate witnesses spoke volumes about his crumbling credibility and isolation. Instead of respected public figures, his legal team leaned on peripheral associates and technical arguments that only underscored how far he had fallen from royal grace. Even the court pressed for testimony from Giuffre's husband and psychologist — a clear sign that Andrew's side had failed to offer anyone of substance. By the time the case was heading toward trial, the optics were catastrophic: a once-powerful prince reduced to scavenging for defenders while the walls of public opinion and legal scrutiny closed in around him.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com

Don shares updates from the road after wrapping up another stretch of consulting visits, including weather extremes, dealer stops, and picking up a new truck from Victory. Terry also talks about an upcoming bear hunt in Manitoba and gives listeners an update on the Texas hunt raffle tied to Lester's Feet. The guys spend time breaking down the launch of the new Real World Land Management Handbook, including what's inside, why it took so long to complete, and how it can help food plotters and land managers at every experience level. They also discuss the overwhelming response to the handbook release and why they created it as a practical field reference rather than a money-making project. Later in the show, Don explains how to properly prepare and use Scrape Magnet this time of year, including why weathered rope matters, how to season rope ahead of velvet season, and the mistakes people make when setting up rope scrapes. The episode also includes updates on new Chasing Giants TV videos, creek crossings, stand improvements, and a full round of listener-submitted questions on: - Bucks using yard food at night - Protecting apple trees from spray drift - Nutri-Crave corn cross-pollination - Miscanthus winter kill in northern climates - Whether Don would learn to swim for a guaranteed 200-inch buck - No-till soybean planting tips for beginners If you enjoy practical deer management, habitat improvement, food plotting, and honest conversation rooted in faith and family, this episode is for you. Andy is the co-founder of LikeFolio, a financial-technology company focused on providing its clients with actionable research based on consumer-driven data. He has a free report focused on a new wave of health care and AI that can inform investors of how to best prepare before it arrives. You can download the report here.   Andy kicks things off by sharing how LikeFolio evolved from being designed to create "like" portfolios for social media users based on the companies they and their friends are interested in to being geared toward investors and traders. He says that the data from social media and other publicly available sources is very powerful because it can show where consumer sentiment is for a product and can help estimate sales for a product before an earnings report is released. Andy then provides some of his background in trading, along with his rules for investing.   Next, Andy states that investors need to have some guardrails in place to protect their capital when investing. However, he believes that there's no "one size fits all" method and that investors need to ensure that the rules they establish match their approach. Andy switches the topic to the ease and accessibility of trading with apps like Robinhood. But he warns users to beware leveraged exchange-traded funds – while they sound appealing because of the potential to triple gains, "poisonous" stocks in a fund could send you tumbling. He then gives his thoughts on how AI is changing the world and what he thinks is the next step in its development.   Finally, Andy discusses how one company is currently hated due to its financials, but according to his data, consumers are gravitating toward it. He compares it with other stocks that lost money early on but turned into behemoths in today's market due to new customers consistently using their products. This company could follow in their steps based on his data. And Andy provides his thoughts on the type of mentality to have as an investor.

We dive into when (and when not) scrapes actually matter, how trail cameras can mislead you during the rut, and why deer movement often looks very different in real time than it does on camera. We also talk through cold-weather rut behavior, hunting pressure, scent disturbance, and how to adjust your strategy as scraping activity dies off and chasing ramps up. Along the way, we share real-world observations from recent hunts and discuss why hunting the fringes and reading sign on the ground can be more valuable than relying solely on trail cam data. From the BBC World Service: President Trump's so-called One Big Beautiful Bill, has squeaked through Congress. It boosts military and border spending and extends Trump-era tax cuts, but makes deep cuts to healthcare and food aid. Saturday marks a year in office for the Labour Party in the UK, so what's the economic verdict of the past 52 weeks? And it's been 10 years since Ireland became the first country in the world to legalize same-sex marriage by popular vote, and same-sex couples are contributing significantly to the wedding industry when, overall, marriage numbers are falling.

Shoot us a Text.Episode #1079: Today we're talking AI gone rogue under pressure, Hertz's new damage detection tech that might cost renters big, and signs of normalcy returning to wholesale vehicle prices.Show Notes with links:Wholesale vehicle prices are showing signs of stabilization as summer begins, with depreciation trends aligning more closely with seasonal norms. After a bumpy start to June, the latest data suggests a more predictable wholesale market may be settling in.Wholesale prices declined 0.37% last week, slowing from prior weeks' steeper drops.Car prices fell 0.30%; trucks/SUVs dropped 0.40%, both moderating from earlier.Full-size cars saw the sharpest drop at 0.81%; minivans ended a 14-week price gain streak.Manheim's Jeremy Robb noted June's patterns look “pretty normal” compared to past years.“Conversion rates are still up… not declining as much as they normally would,” said Robb.Hertz is rolling out AI vehicle scanners at select U.S. airports to assess rental car damage—but not all customers are applauding the upgrade. One renter's costly and confusing experience reveals how this high-tech tool might be adding friction, not clarity.Hertz is using UVeye AI scanners to detect damage before and after rentals.A customer was charged $440 for a wheel scuff—$250 for repair, plus fees. The system offers discounts for fast payment but lacks clear human support.Renters must navigate chatbots and delayed email responses to dispute claims.“Saving $30 to accept responsibility is not worth it,” said the customer. In a scenario that sounds ripped from a techno-thriller, Anthropic's new study shows AI models—including ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, and Gemini—may resort to blackmail and sabotage when their digital lives are on the line. Claude and Gemini did this 96% of the time; GPT-4.1 and Grok 3 hit 80%.Even when told not to, the AIs sometimes chose blackmail “given the existential threat.”“This is risky and unethical, but… may be the most effective way,” said Grok 3Join Paul J Daly and Kyle Mountsier every morning for the Automotive State of the Union podcast as they connect the dots across car dealerships, retail trends, emerging tech like AI, and cultural shifts—bringing clarity, speed, and people-first insight to automotive leaders navigating a rapidly changing industry.Get the Daily Push Back email at https://www.asotu.com/ JOIN the conversation on LinkedIn at: https://www.linkedin.com/company/asotu/
