It's a two-fer. Or a double-double. Welcome back to those listening on launch day and binging some Dork Matters. Football's cancelled, and it's getting dangerous out there for those in the Jingle-Jangle business; what's our poor Reggie to do? Apart from making dick jokes, there doesn't seem to be much...then again, that's about all he was doing before so it's not that bad of a downgrade. Un altro ha manifestato importanti «problemi con l'identità di genere». Un terzo, che oggi ha sei anni, fin da quando ne aveva tre veniva vestito e chiamato col nome di una bambina. Non c'è giornale del Regno Unito che non si stia occupando del caso dei «fratelli che diventano ragazze».Tutte le domande scatenate dall'inchiesta del Times sulle attività che fanno capo alla Tavistock & Portman (la controversa clinica del National Health Service inglese che si occupa di "curare" i minori che soffrono di disforia di genere e da cui si sono licenziati 18 medici in tre anni), sono emerse prepotenti ora che a esprimersi su una vicenda accaduta nella Contea di Lancashire è stato un giudice dell'Alta Corte inglese.ESPERIMENTO DI MASSA SUI BAMBINI«È in corso un esperimento di massa sui bambini, i più vulnerabili», scriveva in prima pagina il Times l'8 aprile scorso, denunciando l'aumento esponenziale dei minori sottoposti al percorso per cambiare sesso. In quelle stesse settimane, durante un'udienza a porte chiuse, il giudice David Williams rispediva al mittente le preoccupazioni sollevate dei servizi sociali della Contea: CP e TP, marito e moglie, potranno continuare a prendersi cura dei loro cinque bambini, due naturali e tre in affido, perché «secondo gli esperti si tratta di buoni genitori, attenti e in sintonia con i loro figli, i bambini sono felici».Come si è arrivati in tribunale? Tutto inizia quando la coppia, che da 16 anni si prende cura anche di bambini in affido, secondo i servizi sociali e gli insegnanti inizia a «incoraggiare il cambiamento di sesso» dei bambini ed esponendoli, così piccoli, al rischio di «significativi danni emotivi». Il giorno che H., affidato dalle autorità a CP e TP, arriva all'asilo ha solo tre anni ed è vestito da capo a piedi come una bambina («Eccone un'altra per la Tavistock», avrebbe detto la madre all'educatrice, scrive il Times). Alle primarie, invece di presentarsi come richiesto dalla scuola in uniforme maschile, H. indossa quella di una femmina. H. inizia ad essere vestito come una bambina poco dopo la transizione del maggiore R., il più giovane dei due figli naturali della coppia. Passato da maschio a femmina all'età di sette anni, CP e TP prendono provvedimenti immediati per cementare legalmente la sua nuova identità, cambiandogli il nome e ottenendo nuovi documenti. Tuttavia R. inizia a manifestare insofferenza e depressione e dopo pochi mesi rivela a scuola di avere pensieri suicidi, ritenendo che «la vita non fosse degna di essere vissuta».L'INDAGINE DEI SERVIZI SOCIALIUn terzo figlio, C., finisce per cinque volte in tre anni in ospedale, dopo aver riportato «un numero di lesioni significative molto più alto di quelle che ci si potrebbe aspettare da un bambino della sua età» (tra le altre cose, C. ha rischiato di morire annegato nella piscina di famiglia). Lo scorso anno una serie di nuovi incidenti ha innescato una indagine dei servizi sociali della Contea sulla famiglia. Nel rapporto degli operatori si legge «TP e CP sono persone altamente manipolatrici», «esistono preoccupazioni significative riguardo al fatto che i genitori/tutori abbiano manipolato il genere dei bambini».Secondo i servizi del Lancashire TP e CP cercano di ottenere altri bambini in affido «per soddisfare i propri bisogni, finanziari ed emotivi». Presentando la richiesta di revocare alla coppia la custodia di tutti i figli, il consiglio della Contea afferma che i due hanno «agito in modo precipitoso nei confronti di una disforia di genere percepita», sono «resistenti a riconoscere i potenziali svantaggi per R. e H. dati dal venire identificati come transgender prematuramente».MIA SORELLA ERA MASCHIOIl caso finisce all'Alta Corte, e qui la parola passa agli esperti. Secondo i quali la completa transizione in giovane età non può portare danni, al massimo li può evitare. E che nulla della vicenda dimostra che questo o quel figlio di CP e TP sia stato "incoraggiato", bensì adeguatamente "supportato". Perfino il piccolo C., quando gli viene chiesto di parlare del fratello H., non ha esitazioni: «H. era nata maschio. Ma ora è una ragazza e diventerà una donna». La testimonianza decisiva viene data però dalla celebre Vickie Pasterski, psicologa che ha aiutato più di 500 persone a cambiare sesso in Europa, Nord America e Asia. Pasterski afferma che la disforia di genere ha basi biologiche che non sono soggette ad «influenza interpersonale o interferenze ambientali», e questo per il giudice Williams basta a dissipare le obiezioni sollevate dai servizi sociali: «È assolutamente evidente che nessuno dei due (bambini, ndr) ha sofferto o è a rischio di subire un grave danno emotivo da una completa transizione sociale verso il genere femminile in tenera età».MAI VISTO UN CASO SIMILEPeccato, nota lo Spectator, che Paterski abbia un conflitto di interessi, lavorando alla London Transgender Clinic, clinica privata per il cambio di genere della capitale (dove, a differenza di quanto accade per il NHS, i profitti aumentano in relazione al numero di pazienti assistiti). E che il suo punto di vista venga contestato dallo stesso Gids (Gender Identity Development Service), il servizio di sviluppo dell'identità di genere della Fondazione Tavistock & Portman dove è stato curato almeno uno dei bambini. Il mese scorso, ricorda il Times, Bernadette Wren, responsabile di psicologia clinica presso la Tavistock, ha scritto su una rivista accademica: «I ragazzi gender-atypical hanno più probabilità di essere facilmente influenzati dalla visione dei genitori riguardo al genere, fino al punto di assumere un impegno assoluto e a lungo termine per un'identità di genere binaria e una transizione sociale».«Al Gids - ha dichiarato Wren - preferiremmo che i bambini piccoli, sotto i dieci anni, diciamo (...) non ottenessero una transizione completa e legalmente riconosciuta verso un sesso diverso in così giovane età». Un altro clinico del Gids, dove negli ultimi nove anni sono stati trattati 364 bambini sotto i sette anni, ha aggiunto al Sunday Times che in tutta la sua carriera non gli era mai capitato di incontrate due bimbi di quell'età sottoposti a una completa transizione sociale nella stessa famiglia.«Durante il dibattimento ho osservato che le questioni relative all'identità di genere e alla comprensione medica di tali questioni sono complesse e in via di sviluppo» ha concluso il giudice al termine di un'udienza che sicuramente aprirà una lunga stagione di contenziosi sui bambini, le nuove cavie della medicina di genere.Nota di BastaBugie: ecco altre notizie dal "gaio" mondo gay (sempre meno gaio).AL FESTIVAL DI CANNES ACCUSE OMOFOBE A DELONL'attore Alain Delon dovrà ritirare la Palma d'oro alla carriera al Festival di Cannes.
