https://www.djfrankdelour.com/BioWith his new single “AYA,” DJ Frank Delour delivers a compelling Afro House release built for dance floors worldwide. Layered conga rhythms, warm keyboard chords, textured sound design, and soulful African vocals come together in an uplifting, peak-hour–ready track that stays true to Delour's signature sound. “AYA” follows a series of 2025 releases and reflects Delour's intention to close out the year on a high note. “I wanted a powerful record that was uplifting and still adhered to my style,” he says. “Something that could easily be the choice to rock the crowd during peak hours.” Living a distinctly cosmopolitan lifestyle, Delour performs exclusive dates across the globe—from Rome to St. Tropez while splitting his time between Miami Beach and New York City for luxury-market residencies and studio work. He is currently in the midst of a three-week residency at Papaya Playa Project in Tulum, Mexico, performing alongside artists such as Lee Burridge and Marten Lou. Since 2021, Delour has maintained an impressively prolific output, releasing more than 40 singles. At the core of Delour's music is an unmistakably positive energy, which he attributes to his conversion to Buddhism several years ago. “I had to step away from derogatory and misogynistic themes in certain genres if I was going to be true to what I was practicing,” he explains. Afro House became the perfect outlet—allowing him to create spiritually uplifting music aligned with his values. His goal is simple yet profound: to inspire. Delour hopes his tracks carry hope, healing, and positive energy qualities shaped by his own journey through struggle, resilience, and reinvention. Delour's career began in the 1990s, including a production deal with Island Records, followed by years as a sought-after collaborator producing and programming drums for major acts such as NSYNC. While major-label success brought financial rewards, it also came with creative compromises. Reflecting on his journey, Delour recently wrote on Instagram:“I have risen, fallen, risen again… reset, restarted, reinvented. Gotten opportunities, lost opportunities. Offered $1 million, lost the contract. Rejoiced, suffered, failed and tried again. My journey feels like an eternity of hills and valleys, but one thing stayed consistent: I kept going.” Now, with clarity earned through experience, Frank Delour is fully focused on his own artistic path. “Even though the monetary success of being part of a major label was great,” he says, “the most important thing for me right now is being able to hone in on my own vision answer to no one and do it my way, at my own pace.”Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support.
Why do so many imagine Jesus as "sour and dour"?What can we learn from how Jesus rejoiced and celebrated? How can we well endure to share in joy and the hope of the final celebration?Jesus Rejoiced | Jesus FeltOutline | Conversation
A sermon from Luke 2 and Matthew 2.
...
In this episode, Ronn and Mike study the second half of John 8 (vv.13-59), noting that the conversation which follows Jesus' handling of the woman taken in adultery is key for understanding the full narrative. They discuss the theological implications of Jesus' claims, the nature of what it means to be a "sinner" in 2nd Temple Judaism, and the identity of believers as children of Abraham. They explore the significance of the woman caught in adultery, tying together the broader themes of covenant and identity in relation to faith. The conversation also touches on modern cultural reflections and the search for truth in today's society.
When God's people rediscovered His Word in Nehemiah 8, it sparked a spiritual awakening. First, they Revered and Respected it—standing in awe as it was read. Second, they Remained and Received it—listening carefully and seeking understanding. Third, they Repented and Rejoiced—convicted by its truth and comforted by God's grace. When we return to God's Word, it revives our hearts and renews our joy.
Jesus continues in the gospel today to equate Himself with God. The Jews continue to resist Him and are adamant with their short-sighted views of Him.

Their joy rested in having been found worthy by God to join Jesus in His suffering.
Pastor Chris discusses the difficulty of playing different instruments such as flute, oboe, harp, and pipe organ. The oboe requires incredible breath control and perfect conditioning, while the harp has 47 strings and seven-foot pedals. Bagpipes require incredible skill to press the bag just right to get the air going and release the air in the proper way. The pipe organ has all the pistons and stops to make different sounds and different manuals. Leonard Bernstein once said that playing second fiddle is the most difficult instrument to play. John the Baptist was a huge star and attracted many disciples, and his role in relation to Jesus was described in the opening prologue of John's Gospel. Jewish leaders went out from Jerusalem to check out John and wondered if he could be the Messiah or Elijah. John was not the light, but he came to bear witness to the lines. Later in John chapter one, one said, "I baptized with water, but among you stands one who sandal I am not worthy to untie. After me comes a man who ranks before me because he was before me." The attitude of John Baptist is valuable for us to contemplate. www.venicepres.org
Having repented and renewed their covenant with God, the people gathered to dedicate the new walls of Jerusalem. They did so by worship. The city was filled with the sounds of worship, and it produced a joy that was heard far outside of Jerusalem. We explore how repentance has its natural end in a surprising experience of joy.
DOWNLOAD KEYNOTE SLIDES John 12:12, The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, 13 took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out: “Hosanna! ‘ Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!' The King of Israel!” King Jesus rides on the faith of worshippers. How do you receive your King Jesus? Obey the Lord, "Go into the village...." Pay Attention to detail, "Find a colt tied... get the permission of the owner" (not just grab any donkey walking around, and there were a lot of them) Operate under God‘s authority, "The Lord has need of it…" Understand sacrificial giving. A sacrifice is not: Doing something we don't want to do. A sacrifice is: Offering up something costly and precious. Remember the blessings of God in your life: “[Rejoiced over] All the mighty works they had seen..." Worship and praise God, “HOSANNA! Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord."

Cf. Ps 24: 1-3 To You, I lift up my soul, O my God. In You, I have trusted; let me not be put to shame. Nor let my enemies exult over me; and let none who hope in You be put to shame. Responsorial Psalm 121(122):1-2,4-5,6-9 I rejoiced when I heard them say: ‘Let us go to God’s house.’ I rejoiced when I heard them say: ‘Let us go to God’s house.’ And now our feet are standing within Your gates, O Jerusalem. I rejoiced when I heard them say: ‘Let us go to God’s house.’ It is there that the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord. For Israel’s law it is, there to praise the Lord’s name. There were set the thrones of judgement of the house of David. I rejoiced when I heard them say: ‘Let us go to God’s house.’ For the peace of Jerusalem pray: ‘Peace be to your homes! May peace reign in your walls, in your palaces, peace!’ I rejoiced when I heard them say: ‘Let us go to God’s house.’ For love of my brethren and friends I say: ‘Peace upon you!’ For love of the house of the Lord I will ask for your good. I rejoiced when I heard them say: ‘Let us go to God’s house.’ The English translation of Psalm Responses from Lectionary for Mass © 1969, 1981, 1997, International Commission on English in the Liturgy Corporation. Rv 5: 12; 1: 6 How worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and divinity, and wisdom and strength and honour. To him belong glory and power for ever and ever. Responsorial Psalm 121(122):1-5 I rejoiced when I heard them say: ‘Let us go to God’s house.’ I rejoiced when I heard them say: ‘Let us go to God’s house.’ And now our feet are standing within your gates, O Jerusalem. I rejoiced when I heard them say: ‘Let us go to God’s house.’ Jerusalem is built as a city strongly compact. It is there that the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord. Sermon Segments. – Short clips from sermons from the pulpit of North Bryant Baptist Church. From the sermon, "Wisdom and Creation."
Through faith in our holy sages, one is able to bring true judgments out to light. What does this mean? To understand from his studies how to conduct himself (to apply the advice written inside the holy books he studies). But when one blemishes in emunat chachamim, he is judged in the “wearying of the flesh.” This causes crooked judgment to come to light and the man is unable to give himself/others good counsel. Rabeinu also teaches us that conferring authority upon rabbis who are not worthy of being called rabbis (people who's study comes from these places of waste matter/crooked judgement) weakens our holy writings and books. We are also exiled from our settlements and we lose the wisdom of astrology/astronomy and the secret of pregnancy. One can sweeten this filth of excrement through waters of machloket, which repairs faith in the sages, and through faith in the sages one can sweeten all judgements this is why we travel to true Tzadikim on Rosh Hashana for they can sweeten all the judgements… Rabeinu also talks about the ideas of simcha/joy, the foundation stone, supernal wisdom, mockery of the sages, etc…

#0127 (Series: The Book Of Colossians: Jesus Is Enough pt.19 / Mini-Series: Rejoicing In Suffering pt.2 - John 15:18-20) – In this episode, we continue our tangent into the topic of Paul's sufferings. We learn what it means to suffer for Jesus and why we should rejoice when we do!In this series, we dig into the Book of Colossians verse by verse, discovering why it is so important for your spiritual growth and that Jesus is enough for everything you need in life! You can leave a comment, ask questions, and find show notes for this podcast episode at http://tekoa.media/0127Check out our other podcast, Truth That IgnitesScripture from this episode:Colossians 1:24 ESV – 24 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in Christ's afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the church, John 15:18-20 ESV – 18 “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. 20 Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours. 1 Peter 4:12-19 ESV – 12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. 13 But rejoice insofar as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. 14 If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. 15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer or a thief or an evildoer or as a meddler. 16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name. 17 For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 And “If the righteous is scarcely saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?” 19 Therefore let those who suffer according to God's will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good.James 1:17 ESV – 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.Matthew 6:10 ESV – 10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.YOU CAN FIND THE REST OF THE VERSES FOR THIS EPISODE AT: http://tekoa.media/0127If this podcast has challenged and encouraged you, be sure to subscribe so you never miss an episode! If you would like to receive our weekly newsletter featuring our best content and updates, you can subscribe for free here. This podcast is a ministry of Mike Lawrence and The Tekoa Project.
