https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/crazyjames/bthdYoutubeInstagramBioLUTON, UK – June 2025 — British rapper Crazy James returns with his latest sonicfirestorm, “BTHD,” a track that fuses raw emotion, stunning lyrical agility, and head-nodding production into one unforgettable ride. With lush piano flourishes and a beatthat's as fresh as it is infectious, “BTHD” showcases Crazy James at the height of hisartistry—delivering a flow so passionate and magnetic, it's impossible not to feel it.“BTHD” stands for Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Disorder—a title as intriguing as the recorditself. “I've always been a massive fan of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony,” James explains.“They're a big reason I started rapping. This song is really an homage to them and theirmelodic sound.” While the Cleveland legends never had the same breakout fame in theUK as in the States, Crazy James makes it clear that their influence runs deep in hisDNA.From the first piano note to the final verse, “BTHD” radiates energy and intent. Theproduction strikes a balance between classic and current, evoking nostalgia whilesounding distinctly 2025. James' delivery is sharp, emotionally charged, and beautifullydynamic, with verses that dance between reflective storytelling and fast-pacedwordplay. “When I heard the beat,” he recalls, “I had the melody in my head straightaway—singing it in the shower, humming it constantly. Even if it was gibberish, I had toget it down. Then I started shaping it into something real.”Fans of anime will find something extra to love in “BTHD” too, with James sneaking inreferences to Dragon Ball Z—a nod to his love of animation and layered lyricism. “I liketo play with words,” he says. “People always say I'm hard to categorize—but that's thepoint. There's no sound for me. I just create what's true.”The single is part of a larger creative vision that includes his forthcoming LP, featuringprevious releases like “Whip It,” “Levels,” “Killer Instincts,” and “Show Me”—many ofwhich have already caught the attention of BBC Introducing. “Everything on the album isintentional,” James says. “You won't skip a single track.”The new music video reflects that same cinematic ambition. It intertwines visuals forboth “BTHD” and “Killer Instincts,” carrying on a narrative thread started in the “Levels”video. “The goal was to make the visuals feel like a continuous story,” James shares.“There's even a teaser for the next single, ‘Higher Learning in Berlin.' We're planning tofilm in Berlin later this year.”What sets Crazy James apart isn't just his sound—it's the spirit behind it. Drawing on achildhood spent across Ghana, Belgium, Congo, Saudi Arabia, and the UK, Jameschannels a multicultural perspective into music that's rich with soul, struggle, andhonesty. Whether he's reflecting on mental health, fatherhood, or artistic integrity, hedoes so with an unshakable authenticity.“Performing live is hard,” he admits. “I give all my energy. But it's worth it. I rap toexpress what's inside me—and to let people know they're not alone.”Outside the studio and stage, James juggles a full-time job and fatherhood. “It's tough,”he says. “But I want to leave something behind—not just for my kids, but for the world.”With “BTHD,” Crazy James proves he's not just rapping—he's building a legacy.“Thank you for the support,” he says to fans. “Please keep sharing. Youtubehttps://www.lbdcorptherightchoice.comInstagramBioTo her careers as an entrepreneur, author, MC host, and inspirational speaker, CatreseAlston, under the artist name Queen Diamond, has added singer/songwriter to her list ofaccomplishments. She has just released four songs, hip-hop and R and B, but “Money Wave” is THE song.“‘Money Wave' is talking about me, in a sense, and also as it relates to money,” shesaid. “It's talking about how you get that money and live that life.”It is kind of like her inspirational speeches rendered in hip-hop, with a beat and a chiming melodyand an upbeat rhythm that perfectly punctuate the lyrics, which are possibly the only hip-hop inexistence that includes the word “portfolio” and the term “LLC.”Imma show you how it's 'bout to go downPortfolio fat like them 808 drumsLLCs, that's how freedom comesEvery single deal—ka-ching—outcomes“It's basically telling you how you can make it,” she said. “I'm telling them you got tohave those LLCs in place, and you got to be able to turn those deals into moneyoutcomes. Sometimes you don't have to move where everybody can see everything. You need to move in silence. And when you move in silence, but you move effectively, those checks gonna scream loud.”Turn a risk into a ring the way I marry sumsPower moves quiet, then the check screams loudJumpin' off the jet in designer, head-crowdEagle-eye vision—spot a bag in the cloudIt is almost certainly the most fun financial advice you will ever hear.It is also a personal statement of intent.“I have held back. I've had a lot of challenges in life, and I have kind of been on theback burner because I'm always putting everybody else ahead and helping everyoneelse. But now I'm gonna show you how it's about to go down for me.”Music is something she has always wanted to do, but life, the need to make a living andsome extreme hardships intervened.“I got pregnant at a young age. My mom was murdered when I was five. Mygrandparents raised me and my brother, but they both died by the time I turned 18. So,I've always been independent and finding my way, and music was what always mademe feel better.”She passed her love of music on to her children, who are now singers and rappers intheir own right, and she has her own production company, BossCat Entertainment.“I pushed them and supported them, and now they're pushing and supporting me.”The tipping point that decided her on doing what she always wanted to do, began duringthe time of COVID, when she discovered she had stomach cancer. She beat it, andearly this year she celebrated her fifth year of remission. One particular moment was when she was playing around with her music with a friend, who said, “Oh my God! You should be doing something.”“And I said oh, no, that was a dream I had before, and she said, ‘Okay, you're not tooold to live your dream.' And I said, ‘You know what? That's one of the things I want meto do.' And so now, after overcoming cancer and even going blind in 2023 and gettingmy vision back, everything that I always wanted to do, I'm going to do it.”Of the four songs she has just released, “It's My Birthday” is pure hip-hop celebration, with what sounds like a bass sax joining the drum in the beat, and “Pleasure and Pain”is an R&B and hip-hop fusion on relationships — the pleasure and the pain. The other two, “Money Wave” especially but also “Stone Cold Lover,” are Catresestaking out her ground as Queen Diamond.“‘Money Wave' is letting you know I'm coming forth. I'm wearing the crown, and it is theQueen Diamond era.”In “Stone Cold,” the singer is talking to a lover, but warning him, too.“I'm trying to reach my goals, and although I may want someone to be beside me, and Imay care about you, you can't let your emotions get involved, because I'm on amission.”I'ma show you how it's 'bout to go down—Risin' to the top, we don't play 'round—Money wave comin', watch me surf that “Money Wave” is all about the mission, and money is a big part of that, but it's noteverything.“I'm about building a legacy,” she said. “When you leave this earth, what do you leavebehind? I'm not talking about things that can disappear. Materialistic things, they can bedissolved. How have you impacted somebody else's life, through inspiration, throughwords, through motivation, through music?”And, the music is also about fun, which comes out when you ask her what she wants todo with it, where she wants to go with it.“I want to have fun with it. I want to be able to reach a vast amount of people, share mystories through my songs, because it's very relatable to a lot of things that people dealwith in their life, and I want to be encouraging.”Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support.

SpotifyYoutubeSpellboundpic TwitterBioPamela Edwards McClafferty didn't grow up hearing war stories. Her father, a WWII veteran, lived in silence with his memories. She noticed that her father-in-law, the quiet sailor, alsoendured as did many other veterans she met. The silence of these men and women is the spiritbehind the haunting ballad, “SOLDIERS NOT FORGOT.”Released just before Memorial Day, this is a song giving voice to what generations of veteranscouldn't say out loud. It is a tribute “to my father,” Pamela says, “and all who now defend anddid defend and protect our country.”While working on the musical Artland, with Stanley Clarke, the lyrics of this song lingered as shekept thinking about soldiers returning from war. Who did they talk to? How did they feel? Howlonely they must have been. This was long before therapy apps or terms like PTSD.“SOLDIERS NOT FORGOT” is a slow burn. Singer Lain Roy, whose family has a militarybackground, carries the track with a voice that blends soulful grit (reminiscent of John Legend)with deep feeling and memory. As the song reaches its climax, Roy soars into a sustained highnote as the music drops out. It's pure emotion:In peace, we soldiers live like other menYet a hint, a sound, fans memory's embers again.“I hope that SOLDIERS NOT FORGOT helps veterans heal from such traumatic experiences ofwar, helps to raise awareness of the soldier's true stories, and shows the impact war has on ourmilitary members.”Also performing on the track is Tzuriel Tong, whose piano and cello work weave around Roy'svoice with sparse elegance. Tong plays piano and cello and mixed and mastered the track.Michael Parnell was the arranger. The song's co-producer, Pamela's partner, Mark McClafferty, feels the weight of the song, too.His father served on the USS Laffey in WWII — known as “the ship that would not die.” Hisfather never spoke about the war until he read the lyrics of this song. “My Dad got emotional. It'sthe first time I had ever seen him cry,” Mark said.“SOLDIERS NOT FORGOT” has that kind of power. It opens doors slammed shut by society. Not for explanation, but for recognition. For remembrance. For release.“Above all, this song is a gift to all veterans, to their families and all people who wonder whathappens to the men and women after their uniforms come off,” Pamela says, “because evendecades later, for many veterans, the war never ends:We fight to the death, we fight to liveThat's our Hell, for others to liveThat's what we giveWith “Soldiers Not Forgot,” McClafferty has carved out a space for silence to speak. InstagramYoutube SpotifyBioWin Obami is a French-American artist from Nanterre, France who now resides in LosAngeles, California. He has survived a rough childhood, growing up by himself in adangerous environment thanks to his love for music. He makes music in both the R&Band Rap lanes but he's also carving a path in an entirely new genre that he createdhimself. The name of the genre is “Soulflow,” and it blends elements from Soul, R&Band Rap. By taking strategic elements from each of these genres, he's able to craft melodic flowsthat seamlessly float between both rapping and singing with emotional weight anddepth. His latest single, titled “Feel Rick Ross,” features Rick Ross and finds Win in therap lane but he has more in store.Win's single “Feel Rick Ross” features a braggadocious verse from the legendary Miamirapper which pairs well with the confident and upbeat production. Win's goal was tomake people feel motivated and energetic with the song. However, his verse offerssomething more layered.Throughout his verse, he calls out the behavior of rappers who lack authenticity while also asserting his own rap skills. Writing this verse for the track was not a challenge for Win.“I just hear the beat and the rhythm and then write the lyrics.” he said. While this single showcases Win's rapping abilities, he prefers singing.“I prefer R&B because it's easier for me to express my feelings in that style.” he said. Before transitioning to rap, Win was doing covers of R&B and Pop songs at local showsfrom the years 2015-2017. He also was singing from ages 11 through age 15 andbegan to truly develop his abilities by himself at age 12. Even before this, he wassinging around his household at age 7 and his Mom also played R&B there. With his foundation in singing, it's only right that Win would move on to create a newgenre entirely that combines techniques he'd been utilizing with ones he's picked upfrom rapping. His musical talent has been a constant throughout the years of his life, even though he's still young.Win Obami was born September 28, 2003, making him 21 years old as of today. Thefact he created a new genre at this young age is not only a testament to his musicalability but a feat that is uncommon for musically inclined people in general. Aspreviously stated, the name of the genre is “Soulflow.”“Soulflow” is defined as a “genre-defying sound that blends the heartfelt emotion andmelodic richness of classic soul and R&B vocals with the rhythmic complexity and lyricalflow of modern Rap.” However, Win did not purposely create this genre, it justhappened naturally through an AI tool analysis of his vocal style and techniques comingup with a name for it and people's observations of his voice.“My friends and professionals in the music industry always said my voice was uniqueand different. At the same time, it didn't fit in the traditional sound of Soul, R&B or Rap. Idecided to just combine them all.” he said. The analysis stated that Win's vocal style in the Soulflow genre can adapt to a plethoraof production styles and reshape them emotionally. It is a genre that focuses on aconnection to the heart and the soul. The melodic aspects of Soulflow create a hypnotic and meditative feeling as the listeneris taken on the emotional journey through Win's vocal stylings. Additionally, Win alsocreated the subgenre, “Pop Soulflow”, which takes the core elements from the genreand makes them more accessible for a wider audience through catchy melodies andupbeat pop production elements. In addition to making music, Win Obami is also the head of the music label IceyRecording. By releasing his music through this label Win maintains control of it.Interestingly enough, he wasn't the founder of the label but took over as lead once theoriginal lead, who was also his mentor, departed.“It's not hard to run it because I can produce my own songs myself. I'm focused onmaking the music now and will make the necessary connections for marketing next.” hesaid. Win Obami has plans to release more music this year. The music could be in the Rap orR&B lane but more than likely, he will continue to focus on the genre he created -Soulflow.“Feel Rick Ross” is available on streaming services now.You can stay up to date with all the happenings at Win Obami's music label, IceyRecording, on these platforms.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support.

YouTube SpotifyBioSanitatem is a Latin word meaning “soundness of mind.”Saint Tatum is a Canadian rapper making sounds for your mind. The connection? Saint Tatum, born Benjamin Michael Scott, borrowed from the Latin for hisartist name, inspired by the healing positivity of the ancient term.At 16 years old, and having just released his first mixtape, Are You Awake Yet, he hasn't hadmuch time to build a music career. But Saint Tatum is already making his mark. His new work isgaining an international audience, making it clear that the sky's the limit for the young artist. Are You Awake is made up of six tracks that explore emotion and atmosphere. He creates in hisgarage studio using a Mac and the online digital audio workstation BandLab. While he likes theDAW's interface and effects, he has also found collaborators through the platform's interactivefeatures.Saint Tatum's approach to lyrics puts emotion before storytelling. “I really resonate off offeeling,” he says. In practice, this means a layered approach to sound, contrasting positive andnegative voices and energies. While some lyrics are pre-written, like for tracks “The Mirage” and “Don't Ask Me Why,” onothers he takes a looser approach. “I just kinda let the bars come to me rather than overthinkingthem,” he says, describing his approach as like painting a picture. On the mixtape, Saint Tatum worked with YouTube beatmakers Auxiliary Beats, Vinnyx.Prod,2Facest, Yakinata, Goth Helma, and James J.The EP's title, Are You Awake Yet, comes from a personal place of self-determination — andself-discovery. “I was going through a point in my life where I was… doing a bunch of not greatthings,” he says. By making a conscious decision to move away from negativity and pride, hewas able to break out of a cycle: “I realized staying the same was wasting my time, and changewas the only way forward.”This personal journey is what makes Are You Awake Yet so compelling. Even when Tatum'svoice is buried under layers of reverb or melted into a dreamy beat, tracks like “Love It LikeThat” pulse with vulnerability. If his music sounds like mumble rap, it's because he wants it to —or, as he puts it, “mumble trap.” Artists like Lil Skies, Lil Xan, and Rae Sremmurd were majorinfluences. But Saint Tatum is not copying. He's channeling.“I love making people feel the same way I did when I heard some of my favorite artists,” hesays. “That changed my life. I want to give that back.”Saint Tatum is completely independent — no label, no manager, no PR team — and he isalready thinking big. He's got an eye on the long game, and a clear sense of who he is as anartist. “Even if nobody listens, I'll still be making music. Living without being who I truly am wouldtake everything away from me.”For now, his focus is on connecting with listeners all over the world. Fans far and wide areresponding to the positive and healing sounds in the musical paintings of Saint Tatum. With a new mixtape ready to drop in the coming weeks, interested listeners should follow SaintTatum today. Drawing on his personal experiences, the track tells the story of a New York native from Queens who relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina, determined to break cycles and choose a different path from the one laid before him.The track opens with a striking image: a six-year-old TyRell watching his mother cut drugs on a dinner plate. Rather than glamorize this upbringing, “Big Plays” tells a story of resilience, personal choice, and ambition.“This song is based on my life,” he says. “I saw where the drug life could lead — I lived in it — but I made a decision to do something different. This is me taking big swings. Big plays.”While the song references his past, it also defines his present: an artist committed to authenticity. His name, ImSoTyRell, isn't just a moniker — it's a mantra.“Throughout my journey, people would say, ‘You should sound more like this or that.' But I wanted people to know: I'm always going to be myself. I'm so me. I'm ImSoTyRell.”Rooted in Queens, Grounded in CharlotteTyRell's musical roots span coasts and cultures. Raised in Queens, he was inspired by local legends like 50 Cent — whose pre-fame days he remembers from childhood — and stylistic innovators like Missy Elliott, whose influence shaped the R&B-infused complexity of his sound. He moved to Charlotte during his senior year of high school and has since made the city his creative home, performing at major venues like the Spectrum Center, Raleigh showcases, and curated open mic events.“I perform where I know I can make a moment,” he says. “It's not about clout — it's about connection.”Art Beyond the MusicImSoTyRell is also a storyteller beyond the studio. He's currently producing an original YouTube series titled “Make Some Noise,” which he wrote, scored, and stars in. The project blends scripted fiction with music, allowing TyRell to further explore his storytelling talents and give voice to real-life issues through a creative lens.“I don't want to be put in one box. I like to create music that takes you on a journey — and leaves you with something meaningful,” he says. “Too much music today feels like a run-on sentence. I want my art to make you think, feel, and reflect.”Service and Self-InvestmentTyRell's commitment to excellence led him to temporarily step away from music in order to stabilize his finances — and return on his own terms. As a Technical Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, he proudly serves while investing in the quality of his work.“If I'm going to do this, it has to be top-tier. I won't release something I'm not proud of.”With a strong creative team, The Fly Family (@theflyfamily), TyRell now has the support and production quality to match his vision. What's Next: “Funds Up” and MoreFollowing “Big Plays”, TyRell is set to drop his next single, “Funds Up” featuring Kash Kyla, and release Episode 2 of “Make Some Noise”, planned as an eight-part series.Still, “Big Plays” stands as his mission statement — a call to action for anyone aiming to break generational cycles, dream bigger, and bet on themselves.“It's a triumphant sound. It's about stepping out, making major moves, and feeling good about it,” he says. “It could be a sports anthem or a track for a kid hooping in the park — whatever the context, it's about showing up for yourself in a big way.”And for ImSoTyRell, this is just the beginning.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support.

I felt low, burnt out, and stuck  but still trying to make time to create music and figure out my life.” The result: a song born of exhaustion, longing, and hope, shaped into a beautifully produced, timeless groove.Built on a rhythmic ticking motif that mirrors the pressure of time, “Out From Under” cleverly underscores its themes without being overbearing. Bailey's rim-click percussion ticks steadily beneath shifting tempos  racing forward one moment, slowing down the next  as she sings lines like:“Can I make the time go slow? / And get out from under?”That emotional layering  blending storytelling with sound design  is a hallmark of Love It All, a collection that dances across genres while remaining deeply introspective. Bailey draws inspiration from iconic female artists like Amy Winehouse, Sara Bareilles, Fiona Apple, Joni Mitchell, and Dodie, while forging a voice unmistakably her own.“I get bored when I make the same kind of music,” Bailey explains. “So I zhuzh it up I blend genres, follow new sounds. I want the album to reflect all the spaces I've been creatively. Every song is a new lens.”A Journey From Stage to StudioOriginally from northern New Jersey, Bailey's artistic roots run deep. She began her career as a child actor in New York's musical theater scene, starring in the Broadway National Tour of Mary Poppins at age 10. Her credits include Stephen Schwartz's opera Séance on a Wet Afternoon and A Christmas Rose at Carnegie Hall alongside Jane Seymour. After high school, she studied musical theatre at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and earned a master's degree from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. It was during the pandemic that Bailey began writing her own music in earnest. “Theater will always be a part of me,” she says, “but I needed to start telling my own stories.”Her songs aren't just lyrical  they're sensory. Bailey writes from the rhythms and sounds of her surroundings. “I live in a soundscape,” she says. “There's a rhythm in everything a bus passing by, birds outside the window, cars rushing past  and I try to build those moments into the music.”On Love It All, that soundscape comes to life:“When I Fall” features a bass ukulele and soprano uke.“Easy,” the closing track, was recorded near an open London window you can hear the distant hum of buses and passing voices. The title track, “Love It All,” is a meditation on finding wonder amid struggle: “I fall in love with every song that I hear / Polyrhythmic harmonies reflect my atmosphere.”She adores that lyric for two reasons: “I've never heard anyone use ‘polyrhythm' in a lyric,” she notes. “And it's not just clever  it's how I actually experience the world.”Independent, Unfiltered, and AuthenticAfter returning to the U.S., Bailey made the bold decision to part ways with her label and release Love It Alll independently. “I was a child actor, and for years I had to fit into a box  play characters in other people's stories. Now, I finally get to share mine.”With “Out From Under,” Bailey Grey arrives not just as a singer-songwriter, but as a fully realized artist  one who transforms the ache of burnout and the hum of everyday life into vibrant, resonant music. This is music that grooves, heals, and surprises  a debut that marks the beginning of an exciting, genre-defying journey.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support.

Youtube FacebookImaginepeakstudios.comMatthewhartleymusic.comBio Born into and immersed in music, Matthew Hartley, Charleston-based Christian Rocksongwriter, embodies the importance of valuing your journey. His own life runs parallelto his creative process, and while he may be curious about the outcome, he's notconcerned by it.Rather, he's ignited by the lessons, growth, and opportunities that come from honoringyour process and pursuing your passions regardless of your circumstances. As young as 8 years old, Matthew recalls always having a notebook by his side to writedown lyrics anytime they channeled through. He grew up in the era of vinyl records andcassette tapes, jamming to hair bands like Poison, Whitesnake, Van Halen, and BonJovi. He was enamored by the power of rock and listened for sheer enjoyment.Influenced by the genre's raw energy at a young age, we timelapse to Matthew as anadult, where his life experiences led him to rediscover a faith he had always carriedwithin him. While the emotional conviction of rock shaped his guitar playing andsongwriting style, it was his life's journey that naturally integrated Christian themes intohis music. He shares an example of when he wrote his first Christian rock song in 2001 called“Rise Above," which marked a reckoning with his own sins, and an acknowledgmentthat things had to change. However, while he was growing in character, he recalls that itwasn't until later in life that he embraced the true blessing of faith when faced withanother hardship. He elaborates on a time he went through a debilitating divorce, and as he navigated thepainful disentanglement from the complexities of family separation, he found himself athis lowest point. And in that moment of exhaustion and total breakdown, the lyrics:When your heart is bawling,You know that Heaven's calling …out your nameRepresent a pivotal point in his story. In his newest single, “Heaven's Calling,” Matthewshares that when you're at your most vulnerable it's exactly when God speaks theloudest. Heaven is calling your name to show you there is hope and love even in thedarkness.“God is working on you and he will get you through it. You have to have faith throughthe storm,” he states encouragingly.Another theme in “Heaven's Calling,” that Matthew unravels is the humanity that birthsfrom devastation. In the May 18th premier of the “Heaven's Calling” music video, thereare images of hurricane damage, flooding, and rescue missions from the disaster.Hitting close to home, literally and figuratively, Matthew shares that after the destructionof Hurricane Helene in 2024, he witnessed firsthand the valor of those rescuing, theheart of those helping, and the resilience of those who survive a natural disaster.“Love is powerful; the best of people through devastation is remarkable,” he says.“And for those, Heaven's calling [too].”In conjunction with the hurricane footage and rescue scenes, other parts of the musicvideo feature Matthew performing on rooftops around downtown Charleston withdifferent historic backdrops like St. Michael's Church, Cannon Park, and the CharlestonCity Market. After building a storyboard and scouring the city for permits and approvals to shootdifferent church features and historic sites, Matthew and his team creatively, andthoughtfully sewed all the pieces together. Part of obtaining those permits involvedsubmitting the song's lyrics, and it was serendipitous, almost as if the city was equallyonboard about spreading his message. With the success of it all, he was able to literallysing from the rooftops that “Heaven's calling out… your name.”While reflecting on the development of the project, which he shares was his favoriteaspect of it all, he emphasized the gratification of creating something from nothing.“To do that is such a blessing. It's a process of creation, and you have to be flexible andfluid and enjoy the ride. It's not about the money or the outcome - it's about the journey”he says.He also humbly noted that he couldn't do it alone. He knew that bringing his vision tofruition required collaboration and the culmination of many parts from key producers andsession musicians, to cinematographers and municipalities.Pulling back the curtain even more, Matthew began writing the song at the beginning of2025, and with his melody, lyrics, and chord structure in place, he set out to find high-quality professionals to level up his creation. He gives a shout-out to David Kershenbaum, renowned producer for Tracy Chapmanand Duran Duran, who livened Matthew's vocals and musicality. Excited by the result,Matthew shares that “Heaven's Calling,” will be the first single in an upcoming EP.What's more, Matthew shares that a goal of this is that after learning from hisexperiences, he wants to share and impart lessons and resources to other musiciansembarking on creative endeavors through his production and publishing company,Imagine Peak Studios. When asked what words of advice he'd like to leave for readers and listeners alike, he reminds us: “Do not let your circumstances dictate your journey. Age or time is irrelevant, and if you have a passion for something just do it. Praise God. Love your family and neighbors. And, live your life.”Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support.

By making music that brings her a feeling ofhappiness, it never feels like a task to her. Whether she's in Atlanta or Los Angeles, the musicshe creates is going to be done her way and fit her standards. Much of her music is centeredaround the topic of love and she approaches it from a standpoint of lightheartedness andfreedom but - the intentionality is still constant. Her lyrics flow from her mind to the mic in astream-of-consciousness approach that makes every song honest and authentic.“Some songs are just easy to write and it doesn't take long. I'm just always focused ondelivering whatever feeling that I feel like goes with the music or the lyrics that are in the song.”she said.Whether she's crooning about love in an R&B track, bringing people to the dance floor ordropping bars, Melody's music is a surprise practically every time. Her latest single, “Exposed”feels right at home in the R&B lane but there's something special about it that Melody wants herlisteners to experience.“It has a nostalgic 90s classic vibe to me. It's a new song but it feels like it's been here before. Iwant people to feel that nostalgic warmth when they hear it and get all in their feels.” she said.“Exposed” is the latest single from her upcoming project Damsel That Collects whose name flipsthe outdated expression “damsel in distress.” The title expresses the power of Melody's place inthe world as a woman doing things her way and not apologizing to anyone for it. This theme isthe connecting through line across the whole project with each song being an expression of thisperspective which Melody lives by.“I'm still a damsel but I'm not in distress. I'm collecting my resources, I'm collecting a bag andI'm using my femininity to do it. I don't feel like I have to fit into any of the roles like a wife ormother that society tries to label women with. I'm in a good space right now and I feel like thereare multiple other women in this space too. They're damsels but they're not in distress. They'reliving their dreams and living their lives their way.” she said.Melody keeps her fun, freedom based approach to music present in all aspects. “Exposed” wasactually created while she was in the studio working on other music and with the idea comingfrom her producer Ozzy, the song just came together naturally in a spur of the moment way. ForMelody, this type of collaboration is a regular occurrence and combining ideas is one of herfavorite aspects of creating music. This mindset is sure to propel her further and further in themusic industry and she brings in more people to bring her vision to life whether it be in thestudio, shooting music videos or any creative endeavour she pursues.“I look at it like a cocktail. I represent one ingredient and they represent others. They can bringsomething new out of me by sharing their ideas. I'm able to expand myself by working with otherpeople and getting other people's points of view to create something fresh. By combining mytalents, dreams and ideas with others, those people can also live their dreams and bring theirtalents together with mine. Collaboration allows me to be the catalyst for all of that.” she said.As an artist with multiple plans and paths, Melody also stars in season two of OWN's realityseries, The Never Ever Mets which premiered April 4th, 2025. InstagramSpotify BioDare to make a difference, be a leader in the crowd.” These words, lyrics from Lynn Houston's latest musical release, serve as a poetic call to action—an invitation to step forward with courage and create meaningful change. Though each person is a thread in the broader tapestry of society, it is often easy to forget the power and responsibility of the individual to uplift others and foster unity. Throughout history, society has seen cycles of oppression and privilege, progress and regression. In what Houston refers to as her “final frontier,” she is now using music as a platform to amplify unheard voices, promote social consciousness, and inspire compassion and courage in everyday life. For Houston, courage has been the throughline of her life. Raised by a family that instilled a strong sense of self, she quickly learned that success required both education and dedication. Even with a solid foundation, she knew she was different—an outlier who would need to carve her own path rather than conform to societal expectations. Leaving her hometown, she set out across the United States as a one-woman show, forging connections, expanding her creative expression, and discovering new artistic directions.Eventually settling in Santa Monica, she transitioned into still photography, capturing iconic figures such as Mick Jagger and Diana Ross. From there, she made an unconventional leap into aviation, defying industry norms to become a successful airline captain in a male-dominated field. After retiring, she founded A Different Point of View in 2011—a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth within the juvenile justice system to believe in themselves and take control of their futures. In 2017, Houston embarked on yet another creative chapter, this time in music. She began performing at venues like SoHo in Santa Barbara, CA, and her artistic evolution accelerated through training at Berklee College of Music and the discovery of Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs). These tools became her creative laboratory, allowing her to experiment freely with sound, much like a scientist mixing and discovering new elements.Throughout all of these experiences, it was bravery and commitment that allowed her to realize her dreams, while compassion and empathy fueled her desire to uplift others. Now, music has become the vessel through which she shares this mission with the world. In Leader in the Crowd, Houston sings:“Time is ticking, life is moving fast,Who knows but today…Just might be your lastIs this the way you want it,Is this how it's gonna be?Gotta find the courageTo create the dreams that you see”These lyrics are powerfully underscored by the soulful echo of Diana Purim (daughter of Flora Purim), whose background vocals repeatedly urge, “You gotta wake up.” The song challenges listeners to reflect: Are they truly making their moments count? Or simply drifting in complacency? With time being finite, the message is clear—there is no waiting to become the person you were meant to be, or to step into your purpose.Layered with background chants and crowd sounds, the track sonically mirrors chaos, while spoken-word interludes cut through with precision and emotional clarity. Musically, it blends hip-hop, R&B, jazz, and orchestral elements, creating a spacious yet intense listening experience. These creative decisions were elevated by the mix of renowned LA producer and sound engineer Lynne Earls, and mastering by Jett Galindo. Houston also reflects on the joy of recording at the world-famous Village Studios in Los Angeles with an all-female production crew—a rare feat in the male-dominated music industry. For Houston, the culmination of these efforts—working with aligned, socially conscious collaborators and creating with courageous intention—made Leader in the Crowd a powerful artistic and personal milestone. But her journey doesn't end there. Houston believes that everyone has the potential to make a difference. Each of us faces a choice: remain complacent, or point our hearts toward our dreams, stand for unity and justice, and be unafraid to lead.Stay connected with Lynn Houston on social media for updates on her upcoming track, Get Up, slated for release this summer.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support.

Instagram Purchase Book - Beyond the Cosmic EdgeBioBorn on May 12, 1984, in a small village in Russia, surrounded by the untamed beauty of nature, the youngest of three siblings grew up immersed in a world of imagination. With a mother dedicated to nursing and a father working in the agricultural sector, a strong work ethic and deep appreciation for human connection were instilled early on. However, it was the vast fields and whispering forests that left the deepest imprint, serving as both playground and muse. With few children of the same age nearby, storytelling became a refuge—crafted from dreams, nature, and a boundless sense of adventure.Moving to the city for school opened new doors, uncovering a passion for literature, Buddhism, and psychology. Studying English and German further deepened an understanding of human nature, enriching a growing ability to create layered, compelling characters. The love of storytelling evolved into a desire to bring those narratives to life on screen, leading to an entry into the film industry. The journey began humbly—working as a talent assistant, fetching tea and coffee—while closely observing the intricate process of filmmaking. Every small task became an opportunity to absorb knowledge, watching how costumes, lighting, props, and camera work blended to create cinematic magic. Progressing through various roles, the ability to understand people—their emotions, motivations, and dreams—became the strongest asset. Eventually, working as a second assistant director provided an even deeper insight into the art of storytelling, refining skills in pacing, conflict, and resolution.Despite gaining experience, the ambition to create personal stories grew stronger, leading to the bold decision to move to Hollywood. Initial struggles made the journey difficult—taking on various jobs like babysitting, dishwashing, and assisting in different companies—while the passion for filmmaking remained unwavering. Visits to film sets and theaters served as a reminder of where true belonging lay: within the heart of storytelling.Returning to writing, old manuscripts filled with ideas reignited inspiration. One concept, born from a friend's fear of joining a street dance community, stood out. It led to the creation of Fear as a character—one that danced alongside her, embodying internal struggles. This idea transformed into a short film, later shared with producer Mark Buntzman, whose belief in the project was a pivotal moment. Conversations over tea with Mark and his wife, Jenya, centered on overcoming fears, shaping not only the work but the entire storytelling approach.Fueled by this support, the concept expanded into an entire universe, culminating in a completed book. Years of refinement followed, including edits and cover design, all while continuing to build the story into a film and series concept alongside a husband and creative partner. The second and third parts of the story took shape, solidifying the vision. In 2024, with the arrival of a child, work briefly slowed but never stopped. Now, with renewed focus, preparations are underway to launch the campaign for the first book, with full confidence that the story will one day make its way to the big screen. Through the power of storytelling, the journey continues—one of adventure, courage, and the unwavering pursuit of turning imagination into reality.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support.

That purpose really comes through in the lyrics.”Leah Dibut's voice, known for its velvety tone and soulful delivery, brings a dynamic range of emotions to “Thank You.” Reflecting on the creative process, she said, “One of my favorite elements of the song is how it feels. From the subtle storytelling of the first verse to how the intensity builds as the song progresses, it's an elevation of emotion that I love.”Creating the single wasn't without its challenges. Leah worked closely with a trusted collaborator who understood her vision. “Finding the right words was tough,” she admitted. “You have so many feelings running through you, and it's hard to put them into words. But having someone who's been through similar experiences helped bring everything together.”The music video for “Thank You” is a visual representation of Leah's evolution as an artist. Working with her mother to conceptualize the visuals, Leah embraced a darker, edgier aesthetic. “We wanted to capture something different, something I hadn't done before,” she explained. “It was about bringing out the edginess inside of me, and that's reflected in everything—from the colors to the roaring '20s-inspired hairstyle.”Although Leah is rebranding as an independent artist after signing with Mr305 Records in 2023, her commitment to authenticity remains unwavering. She credits her time with the label for teaching her how to balance artistry with personal life, lessons she now applies to her independent career. “I learned so much during that time—about myself, being in the studio, and balancing being an artist with being a normal person. That was a major highlight in my career.”When asked what she hopes listeners take from the single, Leah emphasized the importance of vulnerability and self-expression. “I want people to know that I'm just as human as they are. I get frustrated, I don't always get along with people, and that's okay. My message is that it's cool to say whatever's on your mind and to feel those emotions—that's what makes us human.”As she continues to evolve as an artist, Leah's focus remains on building a strong connection with her audience. “I want to be their voice,” she said passionately. “Whatever they're going through, I want them to know I'm here for them. I want a strong relationship with my listeners because we're all in this together.”Leah Dibut's “Thank You” is more than just a song—it's a declaration of empowerment and a reminder of the power of resilience. The Recklessbegan during the pandemic as a one-man show by frontman Fritz Fayman. Joined bytalented musicians who shared his vision, Fayman soon welcomed bassist MichaelKennedy, who would become a mainstay member. During this period, the band releasedone EP, The Get in a Fight EP, while trying to strike harmony with fleeting bandmembers. Soon after, they encountered Riku Myllykoski, who joined the group ondrums. Within months, John Kelly joined on guitar to complete the group.“Our sound has become more advanced with our current crew,” shares Fritz Fayman.“Everyone is doing more to the song—it's not just me writing everything. Everyone isdoing their parts, which allows for a blending of our styles. There is a level of humilityamongst all our band members. We're each figuring out what we're good at andcombining influences and sounds to reach our potential and continued potential.”Now, The Reckless weaves the distinct interests and musical backgrounds of the fourmembers to create the robust, authentic, and captivating sound found in their latest EP,Who Are You.The band is committed to releasing new music every 3-4 months to connect with theirgrowing fanbase. “We started making singles for content and creating new music as weworked to nail down our sound as a group,” shares Fayman. “We were practicing for twohours twice a week to make sure we were the best band we could be at live shows.”Their effort has paid off, as demonstrated by captivated audiences during theirpowerhouse performances.Who Are You combines four unique songs into one memorable EP. The titular single,“Who Are You” opens the stage, followed by the rock anthem “Do it for Free,” the pop-punk banger “Home,” the reimagined throwback song “GO ON,” and the thoughtfulfinale “Remember Me.” Each song contributes a new layer of complexity to the group'ssound, which comes together with Fritz's emotive singing from track to track. The headline track, “Who Are You” began as a riff Fritz put together. “I brought it to theband and asked what they thought. The song turned out to be an example of the wholeband working together. Riff, base line, drum bits… we each contributed our part.”“The EP is a great example of how much we've grown,” adds Fayman. “There is such adifference between our first EP and the newer EP that demonstrates our ability toevolve.”“Who Are You” was born from a casual exploratory session, during which Fritz Faymandeveloped a riff in drop d tuning—inspired by some of the more metal bands Fritz hadrecently been listening to—that was heavy yet simple. Playing around, he created arough outline of the song and brought the band in to contribute their thoughts.“It brought out the vibe of a walkout song for a baseball pitcher,” explains Fayman. “It'sabout to go down right now. That excitement from the feeling of watching your favoriteplayer walking out.” The drumbeat was created using rim shots (outer edges of thedrum), followed by a heavy bass sound. Then came the addition of a guitar riff.“As we played more, the song came together. Intro. Verse. Lyrics. We took inspirationfrom a post we made where we got our first kind of hate comment. We laughed becausewe'd made it with that first hate comment.” As Fayman explains, it's not about thepeople writing hateful comments, rather about getting past negativity and writing a greatsong to counter what they were saying.“It's an angry, upbeat, powerful song,” he adds. “It's a great example of everything TheReckless is capable of and does with its wide variety of dynamic shifts, hard-hittingmoments, pauses, and impactful lyrics. I'm really proud of that song.”At the end of the day, The Reckless wants listeners to know that it's worth giving yourpassion a shot—and really trying your best. Her debut single, "I Know U Know," offers a captivating listening experience, driven by her powerful voice and unique fusion of instruments. This track serves as both a debut for ECHASL and a preview of her upcoming album, Little Black Sheep. It also acts as a protest song, addressing discrimination, including sexism and racism. The song is inspired by the true story of the first Chinese woman documented to have arrived in the United States. Tricked and sold to a circus, she became an exhibit for audiences, dehumanized and objectified. ECHASL's poignant lyrics and storytelling bring to life the emotional journey of this historical figure, while advocating for racial and gender equality.Musically, "I Know U Know" blends the ancient Chinese gu qin (a traditional stringed instrument) with Western double bass and a pop-infused drum beat, creating a rich tapestry of sounds that defy categorization. The result is a harmonious fusion of pop, electronic, and alternative music, enhanced by ECHASL's extraordinary vocal range. From a deep contralto to a soaring soprano, she effortlessly navigates multiple styles, including R&B, rock, and even country, showcasing her versatility as a vocalist.Lyrically, the song captures the emotional depth of a young Chinese girl's tragic story, while the accompanying video incorporates elements from both Eastern and Western cultures to further convey the theme of unity and acceptance. ECHASL's message is clear: despite our differences, we are all the same.Currently in her final semester at the Berklee College of Music, ECHASL is studying songwriting and musical theater performance. She relocated to the United States at the age of 13 and began her music career in 2024. Her artist name, ECHASL, is an acronym for "Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining," reflecting her optimistic approach to creating music. As a hands-on artist, she not only writes her own lyrics but also collaborates closely with producers to craft the sounds she envisions, often pushing the boundaries of conventional music production. The fusion of a gu qin with a double bass is a testament to her innovative approach. Her passion for experimentation extends to other tracks, such as "Butterfly on Fire," where she successfully incorporated bagpipes into her composition—a request she made to her producer, who initially doubted the combination.Eager to share her unique sound with the world, ECHASL is establishing herself in the global music scene. Her music is a powerful reflection of her cultural heritage, personal experiences, and dedication to using her platform to raise awareness about important social issues. Though she doesn't expect her music to change the world, she believes that, as an artist, her voice is a powerful tool for protest and advocacy. With "I Know U Know," she takes a bold step toward blending cultures and speaking out for those who have been silenced. As ECHASL continues to release music, her journey promises to be one of bold creativity and meaningful impact, as she seamlessly fuses Eastern and Western cultures, offering a musical experience unlike any other.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support.

https://www.instagram.com/olliebyrd_owlpagoda/https://www.youtube.com/@olliebyrdBioOllie Byrd finally dated the girl he had dreamed of since he was 14. They were together for several years before parting ways. A year after the breakup, Ollie wrote a song about the experience—a quintessential emo narrative. Decades later, he revisited the track, producing it in low-fi with subtle rock guitar elements, and released it as “The Sun Will Bring the Day Again.”The title, which does not appear in the lyrics, reflects a sentiment of optimism, as Ollie explains, “I couldn't bring myself to make it that sad… I thought it would be nice to have at least the title be optimistic.” The song, a reflection on the loss of his first true love, captures a raw, universal theme.“The Sun Will Bring the Day Again” is, in Ollie's words, “about acceptance.” He elaborates, “I had a crush on her since I was 14. She was literally the girl of my dreams. We had four or five years together, but I took it for granted, and of course, there's the level of testosterone motivating a young man to do silly, extremely stupid behaviors.”Having started recording at home in 2004, Ollie has long embraced the low-fi sound. He often draws comparisons to Alex G, a popular artist known for recording at home, with Ollie noting, “Every kid records at home now. Every kid in America has an album.” Ollie plays all the instruments himself and serves as his own producer.Ollie's 2006 album Barrel O' Fun received positive reception, and he toured with a band for several years. However, he realized that the music business, while rewarding, couldn't sustain him long-term. After a period off the radar, Ollie released music in 2012 before taking it down for rework. In 2018, his song “Couple Skate” from Barrel O' Fun went viral on Instagram, prompting him to return to his music career. Although Ollie still enjoys hard rock and over-driven guitars, he has since embraced a more mellow style, drawing inspiration from acoustic artists like Nick Drake and Jeremy Enigk.Reflecting on his growth as a musician, Ollie notes that when he originally wrote “The Sun Will Bring the Day Again,” he had limited compositional skills. However, when recording it years later, he applied the techniques he had honed over the years. He incorporated elements of over-driven guitar inspired by Brian Eno's work on Here Come the Warm Jets to add complexity and texture to the original, simple concept.“The Sun Will Bring the Day Again” remains a deeply personal track for Ollie, infused with raw emotion. It is a testament to both his growth as an artist and the heartache that inspired it. With new music on the horizon, listeners can connect with Ollie Byrd across all platforms for fresh songs, videos, and updates.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support.

Her debut album, Maze, features nine tracks that span hip-hop, rap, and various other genres. With a conversational and melodic rap style, she also incorporates her vocal talents, blending rap with singing. Some tracks even include actual conversations, further adding to the album's unique charm. The album's melodies are diverse, ranging from blues and hip-hop to orchestral and funk influences. As a drummer, Hutch brings a distinctive flavor to the beats, which she creates herself as part of her wider musical portfolio. “It's kind of all over,” she explains, reflecting on her genre-bending approach. “But that's just the thing. It's cool to play in different genres and showcase different things.”Thematically, Maze delves into Hutch's personal experiences, particularly her toxic relationships. "A lot of those songs were in the vault, and I just wanted to push them out," she reveals. "I wasn't going to do anything with those songs, but then I thought, I might as well put them out and see where it goes.”The album opens with "Drums Intro," which holds special significance for Hutch, as it marks the moment her musical journey as an artist began. The track was created spontaneously in a friend's studio. "We were just jamming," she recalls, "I didn't even know it was being recorded. I was just having fun with it." After the session, her friend encouraged her to pursue music, and Hutch realized she had something special.Although she's primarily known for her drumming, Hutch has performed with bands, including at LA's Peppermint Club, a venue where Justin Bieber has performed. She also runs Icebox Studios LLC, where she produces and creates her own beats. Despite her extensive background in music, venturing into artist work and songwriting is a new endeavor for her. “This is new to me,” she admits. “I didn't even know I had the potential."Maze is a reflection of her exploration into new artistic territory. The album's varied sounds, unexpected transitions, and eclectic use of instruments, such as the haunting flute in “Drill,” make it a dynamic listening experience. Hutch is also working on other projects and hints that her next album will explore more R&B influences. "Sometimes it's rap, sometimes it's R&B, sometimes it's hip-hop," she shares. “Artistically, I can play guitar, I can play drums, I can produce anything that comes my way. I'm just going to keep doing this and see how much better I can get.”Maze marks the beginning of JustHutch's exciting journey as an artist, and she's eager to continue experimenting and perfecting her craft.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support.

BoomplayYoutubeAmazonBio“We Were Golden,” written and recorded this year, is classic, as-good-as-it-gets 1960s California beach rock. It is many other things, also, including a yet-to-be golden oldie. It is oldie gold alright, but melted down, re-refined and crafted into something brand new. Mike Mahoney, a California native, lived that time and, with his co-writer and producer David Blackburn, wrote it into the song. The track was released under Mike's band name, Mikey's In The Mustang. “I wanted to write a tribute song to Brian Wilson for all the inspiration gave us,” he said. “Not so much the cars and the surf songs but for the romanticism of being young – the true ‘California Sound.'” But that wasn't actually the start. Back in the day, before the Army, before he went to Vietnam, he played in a group and wrote songs. Fifty-five years later, age 75, after success as an entrepreneur and real estate developer, he returned to his music. “Some of my family and an old friend suggested to me that I record some of the songs I wrote back then. I never got to record them, and it was a lifelong dream to go into the studio and see what could happen. So, that is what led to the release of my album On The Road.” It was to be a vanity album, one and done.“But then, I thought as a final project I would write a tribute song to Brian. His music has been a soundtrack for my life.” For youngsters, that would be Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, back when rock was not yet even a teenager. “It was several months of us reworking it and trying to make it tell a story, to make sense. My concept was to do it in a sort of ‘Good Vibrations' fashion, with three movements.”First movement, the place — told in surf, sand and highway rock:We were golden, in endless summer sandWe were golden, we thought we had it plannedSunset Strip's alive at night, the Byrds are on the stageSpringfield's in the canyon — man, they're all the rageSecond movement, the soft, slow, romantic middle — nighttime on the beach:On that summer night, with your tender touch and kissI am falling in love…with you. Finally, “the reprise,” he calls it — the music back on the road, barreling down the highway, but this time the vibe is the time, the era:Can't we just stay free and young, playing our guitars?'Cuz at the battle of the bands tonight, we're taking off for MarsThe YouTube video tells the story visually. The tribute extends to the instrumentation. He wanted '60s-period instruments to produce '60s-period sound.“One of the problems nowadays is it's recorded digitally, and digital doesn't let you get some of the sounds that you could get if you were doing it reel-to-reel like in 1967. So, what we used were all vintage instruments.”Working with David as arranger and musician as well as co-writer and producer, the song became a reality.  “I'm the lyricist and the concept guy who started this project, but I decided not to sing on it because it wasn't going to come out the way I wanted.” What he wanted was authenticity, which is why he recruited as vocalists the Croome brothers, Patch and Liam, from their band, Daring Greatly.“I wanted younger voices who are brothers to get the harmony that only siblings can do, like the Wilson brothers did back then,” said Mike. He said that people who previewed the song told him it sounded like a “1967 hit that never got released.”“That encouraged us to create a video and a Netflix-series type script, and that led to a soundtrack album to go along with the script.” “We Were Golden” has evolved from tribute song to story to a full-blown project involving not only music but television — a streaming series or movie telling the story of “a group of college kids in 1967 who also were in a band,” to quote the elevator pitch for the script. The key parts of the story are the band members, the innocence of their lives in Orange County in the '60s, and the effect of the Vietnam War on them and their generation. The storyline moves to 2017 when the band reunites for “one of the concerts that they never got to do — a true homecoming.” A Mikey's In The Mustang concert will be filmed this spring.Mikey's In The Mustang is on a roll. They are not trying to turn back some cosmic clock. About Gaby Casadesus Born Gabrielle l'Hôte, she studied at the Paris Conservatory with Louis Diémer and Marguerite Long and was awarded the first prize in piano at age 16. She met Claude Debussy at this time, as he was the judge for one of her competitions. Gaby later won the Prix Pagès, which was the most prestigious award in France at the time for which women were eligible. In 1921, she married the pianist Robert Casadesus and with him formed the Robert and Gaby Casadesus duo. The duo made many recordings of the four-hand piano repertoire. However, Gaby was also a significant soloist. She knew Maurice Ravel, Gabriel Fauré, Florent Schmitt and Moritz Moszkowski, and her interpretations were aided by their guidance. Her repertoire also included Felix Mendelssohn, whose music she effectively championed, and the keyboard composers of the Baroque era. As a teacher, Gaby Casadesus taught in the US, at the Salzburg Mozarteum, at the Académie Maurice Ravel in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and most notably at the American Conservatoire at Fontainebleau. Among her notable pupils are Donna Amato, David Deveau, Rudy Toth, and Vladimir Valjarević. After her husband's death in 1972, she worked with Grant Johannesen and Odette Valabrègue Wurtzburger, to found the Robert Casadesus International Piano Competition which ran from 1975 to 1993. Casadesus died November 12, 1999, at age 98 in Paris. She is buried with her husband and son, Jean in Recloses, department of Seine-et-Marne. She has been and continues to be involved with French or Franco-American cultural institutions. She was President of the Alliance Française de Philadelphie for nearly 10 years, and has been President of the Fontainebleau Associations for 25 years: the stateside support group which helps organize and finance the summer Music and Fine Arts program at the Château de Fontainebleau. Therese's involvement with the Fontainebleau Schools is steeped in the legacy of her famous parents, Robert and Gaby, and her brother Jean, who were themselves devoted to the Fontainebleau Schools, teaching extensively at the Conservatoire Américain (the music side of the program). Remarkably, Robert and Gaby succeeded in running the program in New England during World War II and Gaby continued to teach until her passing in 1999 at the age of 98. The French Government awarded Therese the Palmes Académiques in recognition of her teaching activities, and, in 2001, she was named to the rank of Chevalier des Arts et Lettres on account of her efforts on behalf of Franco-American cultural affairs. Known for his sold-outperformances at New York venues like Gramercy Theater and Music Hall of Williamsburg,Jeryko has cultivated a local US and international fanbase from places like South Africa,Europe, and Australia. His signature style blends neo-Hasidic spirituality with contemporarysounds. In collaboration with producer Prince Fox, his new album is being released track bytrack, starting with the singles “Walk Away” and “Dreaming.”The latest single, “Dreaming,” captures the heart of Jeryko's artistic vision: what he calls thesecond coming-of-age. This pivotal life stage, as he describes it, involves moving beyond theinitial transition into adulthood to seek a deeper purpose, forge meaningful connections, andembrace a connection with something higher than ourselves. “It's about committing to a life withmore depth—asking yourself, ‘What am I here for?'”Musically, the single balances dreamlike airiness with grounded determination. Ethereal beatsand layered guitar melodies point to the higher aspirations of Jeryko's dreams, while gritty bassand drum breakdowns reflect the earthly resolve needed to achieve them. The lyrics underscorethis duality:“Dreaming / Head's up in the clouds / I'm just dreaming / They tell me to come down / Allthey know is what they tell themselves / But I'm still dreaming in the clouds / Not comingdown.”With influences like Kings of Leon, Chance the Rapper, and Mac Miller, Jeryko's sound defiesgenres while staying deeply rooted in his faith. His spiritual and artistic direction drawsinspiration from pioneers like Hasidic reggae star Matisyahu and Christian rapper Forrest Frank.Similarly, Jeryko is bringing Jewish-inspired music into the global mainstream. Producer PrinceFox, known for his work with Bebe Rexha and Hailee Steinfeld, contributed his expertise to theproject, helping Jeryko craft a polished yet soulful sound.Jeryko's creative process is inspired by Jewish mysticism, particularly the idea that everymoment and creation has its own melody. “When I write,” he explains, "it feels similar to an actof prayer, because you& trying to communicate the most real things in your heart and connectwith something much bigger than yourself." Whether composing alone or improvising with anaudience, this philosophy drives his artistry and creates a sense of connection in his music. The theme of a second coming of age resonates deeply with Jeryko's personal journey. Afterearly experiences and a career behind the scenes in the music industry, working in labels andmanagement, there was a moment when something clicked. His passion for creatingmusic—and inspiring others—ultimately drew him back. “When you have so many people in oneroom listening to you,” he says, “you have an incredible opportunity to share a positivemessage.
