Trechos do livro “What Makes You Not a Buddhist”, de Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse.Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche ou Thubten Chökyi Gyamtso, é um grande mestre da linhagem Nyingma do budismo tibetano, cineasta e escritor.Nascido em 1961, em Khenpajong (leste do Butão), é o filho mais velho de Thinley Norbu.Aos sete anos, foi reconhecido por Sua Santidade Sakya Trizin como a principal encarnação de Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Chökyi Lodrö, o herdeiro espiritual de uma das mais influentes e admiradas encarnações de Manjushri (o Buda da Sabedoria).Até a idade de doze anos, Dzongsar estudou no Mosteiro do Palácio do Rei de Sikkim no nordeste da Índia, onde estudou com vários mestres contemporâneos influentes como Dudjom Rinpoche, Dalai Lama e Dilgo Khyentse que considera ser seu principal mestre. En este episodio hablamos de: Errores éticos: El autor dice que no suele mentir, engañar o manipular conscientemente, pero reconoce que muchas veces eligió actuar por miedo en vez de por corazón, especialmente en temas laborales y económicos. Consecuencias de actuar por miedo: Aunque logró ciertas cosas, se sentía mal internamente. Con el tiempo comprendió que esas decisiones lo alejaban de lo que realmente quería. Cambio de enfoque: A partir de los 30 años comenzó a seguir más lo que sentía en el corazón, lo que le trajo más paz interior. Confianza en la vida: El autor expresa que su fe está puesta en la vida misma (que identifica con Dios o Buda), y su objetivo es confiar plenamente en ella. Balance personal: No siente grandes arrepentimientos éticos, sino que percibe su viaje como un proceso de liberación y desarrollo de confianza.
