https://www.djfrankdelour.com/BioWith his new single “AYA,” DJ Frank Delour delivers a compelling Afro House release built for dance floors worldwide. Layered conga rhythms, warm keyboard chords, textured sound design, and soulful African vocals come together in an uplifting, peak-hour–ready track that stays true to Delour's signature sound. “AYA” follows a series of 2025 releases and reflects Delour's intention to close out the year on a high note. “I wanted a powerful record that was uplifting and still adhered to my style,” he says. “Something that could easily be the choice to rock the crowd during peak hours.” Living a distinctly cosmopolitan lifestyle, Delour performs exclusive dates across the globe—from Rome to St. Tropez while splitting his time between Miami Beach and New York City for luxury-market residencies and studio work. He is currently in the midst of a three-week residency at Papaya Playa Project in Tulum, Mexico, performing alongside artists such as Lee Burridge and Marten Lou. Since 2021, Delour has maintained an impressively prolific output, releasing more than 40 singles. At the core of Delour's music is an unmistakably positive energy, which he attributes to his conversion to Buddhism several years ago. “I had to step away from derogatory and misogynistic themes in certain genres if I was going to be true to what I was practicing,” he explains. Afro House became the perfect outlet—allowing him to create spiritually uplifting music aligned with his values. His goal is simple yet profound: to inspire. Delour hopes his tracks carry hope, healing, and positive energy qualities shaped by his own journey through struggle, resilience, and reinvention. Delour's career began in the 1990s, including a production deal with Island Records, followed by years as a sought-after collaborator producing and programming drums for major acts such as NSYNC. While major-label success brought financial rewards, it also came with creative compromises. Reflecting on his journey, Delour recently wrote on Instagram:“I have risen, fallen, risen again… reset, restarted, reinvented. Gotten opportunities, lost opportunities. Offered $1 million, lost the contract. Rejoiced, suffered, failed and tried again. My journey feels like an eternity of hills and valleys, but one thing stayed consistent: I kept going.” Now, with clarity earned through experience, Frank Delour is fully focused on his own artistic path. “Even though the monetary success of being part of a major label was great,” he says, “the most important thing for me right now is being able to hone in on my own vision answer to no one and do it my way, at my own pace.”Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support.

New Sode Glitter Ledger; I must be the only person on God's Green Earth who is so deeply unimpressed with AI. Have you ever heard one of your peers or staff speak with authority on the topic without sounding like a complete pompous asshole with small anatomy and/or a troubling complexion? Alas, I consider myself a deeply attractive pompous asshole with a kind stalker-like disposition . As such, I use ChatGPT like rest of my well bred waspy goldigging alcoholic materialistic sxually starved intellectuals for concoctions on how to seduce a Sheik or for how to leverage all of my alimony into a House in St St. Tropez. Otherwise, I see the AI use cases as a Communist Manifesto; good idea in practice, but everyone ends up #poor. Perhaps automated workflows are uninteresting to yours truly because I have no workflow to automate. Ipso Facto; wake me when #AI can give my husband a uknowwhat and design a powerpoint that designs a plan to launder money for the lazy. I digress,, my guest today is a real Crypto Nigerian Prince, side ordered as a well dressed Zoologist turned Ava Labs Executive. Not to be confused with an Avalanche Foundation executive. Yes, Afeez Awowole. He is a sought after guest and heavily edited my questions because most were too personal and likely indictable. I was looking forward to learning how to cook the books beyond throwing my journals into boiling water. I asked him why #accounting is so boring. I asked how to talk about balance sheets with a hint of mortifying sexual tension. When I was high on quaaludes I took out a mortgage that I made on crayons to buy more #AVAX and could only eat chickpeas and prosecco for 3 weeks. ButI lost a stone so I am bullish. Furthermore, my ex had a penchant for the P-chain.#Avalanche is the less cute stepsister of #Solana with an Ivy League degree and a #vicodin problem. She has what it takes to succeed with meaningful useless institutional partnerships for real world assets that I cannot melt down into a bullet. Real world assets should not be on-chain and should be in a #vault. Although I have some assets onchain I lost them because it is too goddamn complicated to retrieve. But like #Jesus Christ rising on Easter, Avax too will rise. I digress, Awkle met during the early days of Facebook in Ireland, I was working as a cocktail waitress on the lam and he helped set up a sick album. I was desperately in love with him but he maintained that he couldn't marry a married woman . Instead he agreed to help me put my ConED on autopay and teach me the zoology of #Ocelots. He is deeply intelligent to the point of sinister intrigue. His accent is a country club pour of Miles Davis meets Michael Saylor meets Liam Neeson. If this Nigerian Prince says Avalanche will change the world then it's indeed time to take out a third mortgage in Cray Paux right in time for Halloween. #GlitterLedger #Avax #AutomateMyPChainSupport the show

(Airdate: 7.8.25) Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet are heating up St. Tropez—and fans are losing it over the possibility that Timmy has shaved his head. The romance is still going strong, but the curls? Maybe not. Then, Denise Richards' soon-to-be ex, Aaron Phypers, claims he has zero income... yet somehow racks up $105,000 in monthly expenses. From $15K in dining out to $5K on laundry, the math isn't mathing—but the drama is top-tier. And finally, Ryan Seacrest reunites with his high school buddies and breaks the internet. At 50, he somehow looks younger than his classmates, sparking questions, compliments, and conspiracy theories. Botox? Karma? Deal with the devil? We may never know. Thank you to Nuuly, both for sponsoring today's episode and for making it easier to get dressed during these hardest times of the year for CLOTHES (spring for Erica, summer for Claire, thanks for asking). Have we sold you on Nuuly yet? Use cases: trying out a bunch of jeans (or, gasp, shorts), dealing with wedding season, test-driving a bunch o' new looks without having to own them, navigating maternity and post-partum dressing…we could go on. And! Right now you can get $28 off your first month of Nuuly when you sign up with the code ATHINGORTWO Starting off with our pre-season preparation, we're curating a no-skips underwear drawer with help from Laura Reilly's newsletter (and Claire's love for the Natori Bliss Brief lives on!). We're also giving our shoes TLC at Leather Spa and getting a little post-winter warm-up with Tan-Luxe The Gradual, Tanning Water, and St. Tropez's Face Mist and Bronzing Mousse. Ok, onto clothing and accessories! Porselli x Alex Mill ballet flats and Chalo cowboy boots have been in Erica's rotation, and though she's already found jean shorts from Agolde (ahem, via Nuuly), she's looking for sporty shorts like Justin's. The barefoot shoe crowd got us curious about the Xero Genesis, we're going to The Consistency Project for jeans, and Claire is growing a jean shacket collection, intentional or not. To try to reinvigorate our excitement for getting dressed, we're reading Emilia Petrarca's piece on embracing glamour for Harper's Bazaar. Respect to Rebecca Jennings for naming the Big Baby trend. How do you get yourself more excited to get dressed up? Let us know at 833-632-5463, podcast@athingortwohq.com, @athingortwohq, or our Geneva. Change your clothes (monthly!) with Nuuly and get $28 off your first month when you sign up with the code ATHINGORTWO. YAY.

“The whole experience isn't really supposed to be programmed. It's actually meant to get lost. And that has multiple meanings. It means to get lost in time. Like what era is it? Am I in the twenties, the thirties? This building has gone through a hundred years of history and we pick up on different decades at different parts in time in the property. We don't have clocks in the room, so it doesn't matter what time it is. It's Miami beach, you're on vacation. But more so than that, it's also to get lost on the street, wander, see what's around the corner.” We're in great company with David and Maya Berg, the husband and wife duo behind Esmé Miami Beach Hotel, where they are restoring the glory of the Spanish Village to its artistic heyday. With its Spanish-Mediterranean architecture, diverse Latin flavors and finishes, its original wonderment made modern, its appeal made timeless. Celebrating its 100-year history - once a colony for artists and outcasts, where the infamous Al Capone ran his underground gambling syndicate - now stands a chic hotel escape in the heart of South Beach, adorned in rich, nuanced, and eclectic treasures for guests to discover. In this episode, David and Maya divulge how Esmé is a ‘boutique gem hidden in plain sight' among hushed historic paseos, beckoning the old country's lust for life and the Mediterranean coast's deliciously slower pace. Top Takeaways [1:50] It was a New York City love story between a young David in real estate and a young Maya in hospitality, filled with long work days, late weekend nights, and summers spent in the Hamptons that started it all. [5:10] What makes Miami, “the next New York borough” according to the Berg's - from its international culinary finds to its multiple cultural flairs, from its livable neighborhoods to its vibrant arts scene. [8:40] David shares how real estate is all about relationships, and that is why the previous owner of the buildings that make up Esmé, cared so much about ensuring it ended up in good hands, that would do right by the neighborhood and continue on his dream for Española Way. [12:10] If the walls of this 100-year-old Spanish-Mediterranean revival landmark could talk it would tell tales of its ‘diamond in the rough' inspired name and its infamous residents such as Al Capone. [15:30] Beyond the beach, there's so much to do strolling the paseos, from window shopping to rooftop sunset watching, eating and imbibing all along the way. [22:00] With the creative eye of designer Jessica Schuster, Esmé returned to its former glory - with authenticity glowing in the ornate fireplaces and shining through the original skylights. [24:20] Local collaborations, rooftop classes, paseo popups and more are always in season at Esmé - just check out their Happenings to explore what excites you the most. [28:15] As a recipient of the inaugural MICHELIN Key, which recognizes the most outstanding hotels in the world, it's a testament to all those that make Esmé the ‘boutique gem hidden in plain sight' that it is today. Moment!
9ª Generación: “Taylor made”.
