Darshan Nalkande started playing cricket in his home town, Akola, at a young age. At 13, he was selected into Vidarbha Cricket Association's residential academy, Nagpur. To pursue his cricketing dream, he moved to Nagpur. Throughout his formative years, his parents backed his dream and today Darshan has ensured that his parents' hardships were not in vain. At 25, he is an integral part of the Vidarbha cricket team in all three forms of the game. Darshan was part of the Punjab Kings set-up for three years but did not get a game. In 2022, he moved to Gujarat Titans and made his IPL debut against his former side. His maiden IPL wicket - his Vidarbha teammate Jitesh Sharma. CSK vs MI, 59th Match IPL 2022.Although both sides have been largely disappointing, Chennai Super Kings seem to have discovered a second wind with MS Dhoni taking up the reins of the side once again.
