In this episode of the show, Binksy, Raj and Stu take stock of all 10 teams at IPL 2026 as we move to the knockout phase of the competition. We start the show by focusing on the three teams already qualified for the playoffs at the time of recording - Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bengaluru & Sunrisers Hyderabad. There are contrasts among the styles - GT's bowling has been a huge strength, SRH look to overpower sides with their batting & RCB favour a more balanced approach - but all three must feel they have a strong chance of lifting the trophy in 2026. There's talk about the upcoming battle between Josh Hazelwood & Bhuvi Kumar and the GT top three of Sai Sudharsan, Shubman GIll & Jos Buttler - plus yet more praise for Heinrich Klaasen, Ishan Kishan & Eshan Malinga. As the conversation turns to the sides on the bubble - Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals & Kolkata Knight Riders - we avoid discussing the permutations and instead focus on which of these teams we'd most likely expect to play spoiler when one of them slides into that number 4 slot on the table. For KKR, it's the bowling that has shone in recent matches - the spin of Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy in particular capturing most of the headlines. Punjab finally awoke from their slumber thanks to a superb hundred from Shreyas Iyer, but after a losing streak that long, can they really be expected to win 4 matches in a row? Rajasthan's equation was simple - beat Mumbai and they're in - then hope Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's outstanding season can continue for a few more games against the toughest opposition. In the final segment, we say goodbye to Lucknow Super Giants, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals and the Chennai Super Kings. Are there any bright spots? What skillsets should they target in the 2027 auction? And could that auction feature big names like Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, Kuldeep Yadav, Aiden Markram & Matt Henry? In this episode of the show, Binksy and Stu celebrate the Top Order's 500th episode before discussing the week that was in IPL 2026 and evaluate the Black Caps' Test squad for the upcoming tour to Ireland and England, plus a bit of England Cricket chat as well. We start the show by raising the bat to 500 episode for The Top Order Podcast. It's been a fun journey filled with plenty of highlights, so the boys share a few before moving on to the cricket once again. As the conversation turns to IPL 2026, we discuss a week which saw the majority of the higher-ranked sides stumble, while the Gujarat Titans, Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings took advantage and moved up the ladder. For GT, Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan are easy to praise, but it's Rashid Khan who we put in the spotlight for his impressive contributions and craft. Binksy then asks whether Stu believes in the Sunrisers yet, whereas Stu's trying to figure out why the Punjab Kings are dropping so many catches - and also basking in the glory of Finn Allen's hundred for KKR. In the second half of the show, the guys discuss the newly announced 19-player Black Caps Test squad to tour the UK and Ireland. What did they get right in the draft last week? And are there any surprises? There's praise for the seam bowling attack despite the absence of Jacob Duffy, with Matt Henry, Will O'Rourke, Kyle Jamieson, Nathan Smith and co. all in line to feature. On the England side of things, a new selector has (sort of) been announced, and Binksy outlines potential changes from The Ashes that could open the door for a return for Ollie Robinson and a fresh face in the batting line up. We'll be back in your feed again soon with more cricket news, including the charge to the IPL finals and the Black Caps' tour to England. In this episode of the show, Baldy, Raj and Stu discuss the week that was in IPL 2026, Geoff Allott's appointment as New Zealand Cricket CEO and draft their Black Caps Test squad for the upcoming tour to Ireland and England. We start the show by discussing another disappointing week for the Mumbai Indians, before we turn our attention to the three sides just on the outside of the playoff picture - the Gujarat Titans, the Chennai Super Kings and the Delhi Capitals. Are Shubman Gill's GT building momentum? Does Sanju Samson have another 4-5 hundreds in his locker? And how much did DC's Kyle Jamieson enjoy his yorker to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi?! As the conversation continues, there's praise for Virat Kohli, Heinrich Klaasen, Josh Hazelwood, Arshdeep Singh and a host of other players, before we move on to discuss New Zealand Cricket's appointment of Geoff Allott as CEO. What are the key decisions waiting for him on day 1? And what does this mean for the NZ20? To round out the show, Baldy challenges Raj and Stu to draft a 15-player Black Caps Test squad to tour the UK and Ireland, which leads to a few disagreements and a much longer show than Baldy was expecting. Does Mitchell Santner's injury complicate the selection process? Jacob Duffy or Kyle Jamieson? Or both? Is there room for a bolter? A back-up wicketkeeper? A spinner? Kane Williamson's legacy, Glenn Phillips's role and the back-up seamer spots in hot demand. In this episode of the show, Binksy, Baldy and Stu discuss a range of topics from IPL 2026 at the halfway stage. Who has impressed? What predictions did we get wrong? And what did we get right? We also touch on the current overseas tours involving the Black Caps and NZ A, plus check in on the England Test contenders now that the County Championship season is underway. We start the show by discussing the flurry of runs we've seen at the IPL over the past few days. Shreyas Iyer and the Punjab Kings chased down the Delhi Capitals' 264, and Sunrisers Hyderabad made light work of a 220+ run chase against Rajasthan Royals. We saw hundreds for Sanju Samson, Sai Sudharsan, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and KL Rahul, but many of those players ended up on the losing side. As the conversation continues, we wonder whether bowlers can ever turn the tables on quality batters, compare Vaibhav Sooryavanshi to Wayne Gretzky, dismay at the struggles of the Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans and look back in horror at some of our pre-tournament predictions. There's also praise for RCB and the unbeaten Punjab Kings, who sit atop the table at the halfway point of the season. To round out the show, we move away from the IPL to talk about two Wills from the Black Caps - the return of Will O'Rourke and the form of Will Young. We also shine a spotlight on some of England's leading contenders for Test spots now that the County Championship is underway, such as Zak Crawley, Jamie Smith and James Rew. In this episode of the show, Binksy, Baldy and Stu discuss an interesting week in the world of cricket, which saw the IPL begin with RCB's win over SRH, New Zealand Cricket approve (in-principle) the formation of a new T20 franchise league & more details emerged about England's post-Ashes review. We start the show with game 1 of IPL 2026 - the Sunrisers Hyderabad taking on the defending champion RCB. The match played all the hits - big sixes, quality catches and big names - but it was a big Kiwi who stole the show with Jacob Duffy grabbing three quick wickets in the powerplay for RCB and then earning himself a well-deserved rest after 7 overs of the contest. We discuss the impact player rule, Virat Kohli's shot of the tournament, bowling concerns for SRH, Phil Salt's catching and a scattering of other IPL news including an injury to MS Dhoni and Ben Duckett's withdrawal. As we move to New Zealand, we breeze past South Africa's white-ball tour only really name-checking Ben Sears & Amelia Kerr, and spend the majority of this segment wondering how the proposed NZ20 franchise league would work and whether there's enough time to get things up and running for January 2027. To round out the show, we discuss England Cricket's post-Ashes review, which has seen the Stokes/McCullum combination retained . . . at least for now. We talk about whether anything is likely to change, whether it needed to change and why the Bazball style might not have suited the current England squad in the same way that it seemed to energise the group only a few years ago. In this episode of the show, Binksy, Baldy, Raj and Stu are back in the same room again (almost all of us) to kick off the IPL 2026 coverage with a bumper preview show in two parts. This is part two, in which we previewing the fortunes of Sunrisers Hyderabad, the Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bengaluru & Mumbai Indians. We're straight into it this time around to discuss an SRH side that was much hyped in 2025, but never really found a run of performances to get themselves in the playoff picture. Once again, though, the team looks built around power, with Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen set to lead the way. But can the bowling hold up until Pat Cummins arrives? Next up is CSK, a team that Stu was surprised to see ranked so highly. We talk about the youthful look to their potential lineup, which could include the likes of Ayush Mhatre & Dewalt Brevis to supplement the old heads like offseason recruit Sanju Samson, Ruturaj Gaikwad & Shivam Dube. We also wonder whether Matt Henry will get an extended run of games, and how many MS Dhoni moments we might see in 2026. For GT it looks like business as usual. Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan & Jos Buttler at the top, with stars like Rashid Khan, Mohammad Siraj and Prasidh Krishna with the ball. There was some debate about who might fill out the overseas roles, with Kagiso Rabada, Glenn Phillips, Jason Holder & Tom Banton all in the mix, but all in all they look a team set to be hard to beat again in 2026. RCB return to the IPL as defending champions, but potentially without the services of Josh Hazlewood for a decent chunk of the tournament. We talk about how much his absence could hurt them, the impact of Bhuvi Kumar and Krunal Pandya in 2025, plus whether they'll find room for Jacob Bethell and which overseas player might have to sit out as a result. There's also a bit of Virat Kohli chat, given his excellent form in recent times. The Mumbai Indians are short-priced favourites, and it's hard to find many flaws in their potential lineups. They're stacked with Indian stars like Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, & Tilak Varma, and the overseas players aren't too bad either. We talk about the questions facing their side. Quinton de Kock or Ryan Rickelton? Can they fit both Will Jacks & Mitchell Santner into the lineup? And how fun is it to watch Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah bowl in tandem? To round out the preview, we make our predictions! Overseas MVP, local MVP, purple cap, orange cap, top 4, bold predictions and our picks for who will be calling themselves champions come the end of the season. We'll be back in your feed again at the end of the week to discuss the start of the tournament and a few other things going on in the world of cricket. HEALTH NEWS   ·         Eating avocados during pregnancy associated with lower food allergy risk in baby Six new studies point to red raspberry's potential anti-inflammatory properties ·         Better physical health probably follows religious and spiritual engagement, rather than vice versa ·         Tomato and fruit juice improve quality of life for kids with asthma ·         Discover how parsley helps to fight cancer ·         Eating ultra processed foods may speed up early signs of Parkinson's disease   Eating avocados during pregnancy associated with lower food allergy risk in baby University of Eastern Finland, May 7, 2025 (Eurekalert)   An observational study among 2,272 mother-child pairs in Finland found that infants had 44% lower odds of developing food allergies at 12 months if their mother consumed fresh avocado during pregnancy, after adjusting for other lifestyle, delivery, and maternal health factors. This is the first published study to link avocados in the maternal diet to a lower risk of infant food allergies—a growing public health concern that affects nearly one in 13 children, or roughly two in every classroom.   Researchers analyzed data collected as part of the Kuopio Birth Cohort (KuBiCo). Participants who reported eating any avocado (>0 grams) in either trimester were defined as avocado consumers, and non-consumers were those who did not report consuming any avocado in either trimester. Infant allergic outcomes, including rhinitis, paroxysmal wheezing, eczema, and food allergy, were evaluated at 12-months of age. After adjusting for factors food allergy was found to be significantly higher in infants of non-avocado consumers (4.2%) versus avocado consumers (2.4%).    Six new studies point to red raspberry's potential anti-inflammatory properties   Various Universities, May 2, 2025 (Medical Xpress)   Initial findings from six animal model studies reveal the potential effects of red raspberry consumption on cardiovascular disease risk reduction, maintaining normal blood glucose levels and liver function as well as potential anti-inflammatory effects related to bone health.   Cardiovascular University of Michigan observed potential benefits of red raspberry intake on obesity-prone rats.   Metabolic Syndrome Washington State University noted positive effects of red raspberry consumption on metabolic syndrome in male mice with diet-induced obesity. Oregon State University studied the effects of red raspberries in mice fed a high-fat, high-sugar Western diet.   Diabetes Texas A&M University reported positive effects of red raspberry consumption on diabetes-related complications and heart disease in obese diabetic mice.   Liver Function Oregon State University noted raspberry's capacity for ellagic acid quercetin to bind to the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-alpha (PPARa).   Inflammation and Bone Health Texas Woman's University observed anti-inflammatory effect of polyphenols in red raspberries in the production of osteoclasts, the cells associated with the breakdown of bone.     Better physical health probably follows religious and spiritual engagement, rather than vice versa University of Miami, May 7, 2025 (PLoS One)   Better physical health probably follows religious and spiritual engagement, rather than vice versa, per six year longitudinal U.S. study aiming to tease out this relationship Religious and spiritual (R/S) engagement is generally associated with better health. However, it is not known which comes first between R/S engagement and health due to a lack of longitudinal studies. We examined this issue in a sample assessed six years apart. We examined the measurement invariance and reciprocal relationships of R/S engagement and self-rated physical health (SRH) at two timepoints (six years apart). We then assessed whether the strength of their relationships with each other differed.   Our findings demonstrate that religious and spiritual engagement predicts better self-rated physical health six years later, whereas better SRH does not significantly predict future R/S engagement.   Tomato and fruit juice improve quality of life for kids with asthma King Mongkut's Institute of Technology (Thailand), May 7, 2025 (News Medical) In a recent study published in the journal BMC Nutrition, researchers evaluated the effects of an antioxidant-rich diet on asthma outcomes in children. In the present study, researchers examined clinical outcomes, pulmonary function, and serum antioxidant levels in asthmatic children in Thailand. Participants were randomized to the intervention or control group. The control group received conventional usual care, whereas the intervention group received usual care and mixed fruit and tomato juices. Further, serum antioxidants (ascorbic acid, lycopene, and beta-carotene) were measured. In sum, the consumption of tomato and mixed-fruit juices for eight weeks improved asthma symptom control and quality of life in children. Serum beta-carotene increased within the intervention group, though this was not significantly different compared to controls. However, pulmonary function, ICS usage, and between-group antioxidant levels were unaffected by the intervention.   Discover how parsley helps to fight cancer University of Missouri, April 25, 2025 (NaturalHealth365) Research published in Oncotarget  detailed for the how apigenin in parsely slows and halts the production of the enzyme IKKa, which is behind the growth and progression of cancer. The scientists concluded that apigenin has a profound ability to slow cancer progression or stop it altogether.   In addition to these results, combined apigenin with green tea successfully treats colon cancer and the University of Missouri researchers found apigenin was effective against breast cancer and killed as much as 86 percent of lung cancer cells. Parsley is an excellent source of carotenoids, which protect against cancer-causing cell damage. Additionally, it's considered a “chemoprotective” food due to its ability to protect healthy tissues in the body from the toxic effects of many cancer treatments or drugs. As a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties – and its rich source of vitamins A, C, E, beta-carotene, chlorophyll, fiber, lutein, zeaxanthin, folate and cryptoxanthin. It's also packed with a higher concentration of vitamin K than kale.   Eating ultra processed foods may speed up early signs of Parkinson's disease Fudan University (China), May 7, 2025 (Eurekalert) People who eat more ultra processed foods like cold breakfast cereal, cookies and hot dogs are more likely to have early signs of Parkinson's disease when compared to those who eat very few ultra processed foods. Researchers looked for signs of prodromal Parkinson's disease, which is the earliest stage, when neurodegeneration begins, but more characteristic symptoms of Parkinson's disease, like tremors, balance problems and slow movement, have not yet begun. These early symptoms can begin years or even decades before the typical symptoms start. The study included 42,853 people with an average age of 48 who did not have Parkinson's disease at the start of the study. They were followed up to 26 years. After adjusting for factorsg, researchers found that participants who ate 11 or more servings of ultra processed foods per day had a 2.5-fold higher likelihood of having three or more early signs of Parkinson's disease compared to those consuming fewer than three servings per day. When looking at individual early signs of Parkinson's disease, researchers also found that eating more ultra processed foods was tied to an increased risk for nearly all symptoms except constipation.

In this episode of the show, Binksy, Jamie and Stu look back at week 6 of IPL 2025, which saw the top 7 sides break away, Vaibhav Suryavanshi score a 35-ball century, Mumbai demolish Rajasthan, KKR win a final-ball thriller, Punjab secure a crucial two points against LSG, England name their first Test squad of the summer, and plenty more! We start this week by talking about Sunday's double-header, which saw KKR seal a nervy 1-run victory against RR to keep their slim playoff hopes alive, and Punjab Kings take a big step towards the semi-finals with an impressive victory against LSG. We spend a long time discussing Vaibhav Suryavanshi's cover drive, as well as the skill and quality of Arshdeep Singh as the battle for the Top 4 heats up. From there, we move to Stu's claim that this tournament is tracking towards a Mumbai Indians v Gujarat Titans final. Ryan Rickelton joined Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav in the runs this week, while Trent Boult continues to take wickets alongside Jasprit Bumrah. For GT, it's the top 3 of Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler who continue to shine alongside their balanced bowling attack led by Prasidh Krishna. We discuss how IPL form could lead to Test opportunities, and whether the upcoming match between these two sides could be a preview of the big dance. One side who haven't been flying high in 2025 is Sunrisers Hyderabad, and despite their tiniest of tiny chances of sneaking into the playoffs, we decide it is time to bite the bullet and discuss what went wrong this season. The short answer is everything, but without Baldy there to defend him somehow the conversation turns to whether Pat Cummins is a marquee player in T20 cricket and how SRH could look to improve their bowling attack in 2026. We round out the show by talking some Test cricket, thanks to England naming their first squad of the summer to take on Zimbabwe in a one-off fixture. The boys evaluate the squad, noting Ben Stokes on the comeback trail, an injury to Jordan Cox, a potential debut for Sam Cook, Shoaib Bashir's inclusion and what bearing any of it could have for an exciting summer to come. In this episode of the show, Baldy, Jamie and Stu look back at week 3 of IPL 2025 through a stock market lens. Who are we buying? Who are we selling? And what are we watching with our fingers poised ready to pounce in the coming weeks? We start this week with an injury update - and it's not been good news both on the field for the Kiwis Lockie Ferguson and Glenn Phillips, and in the podcast studio, with almost all of us suffering from one ailment or another. Once things do turn positive, it's the Gujarat Titans who are first to receive praise - in particular Sai Sudharsan and the consistency he's shown throughout the tournament so far. We also talk about Punjab's Indian core and the golden duck to century turnaround for Priyansh Arya. Dr Jamie takes us through the mindset needed to succeed across a long tournament like the IPL, in which you're bound to fail along the way - perhaps more often than you do succeed. Next we talk about the Sunrisers Hyderabad after Abhishek Sharma's outrageous 141, which saw them chase down almost 250 and maybe kick-start their turnaround. Is it time to load up on SRH stock? Or are there still worrying signs? Things get dark when discussion turns to CSK - the intent has disappeared, no one is scoring runs and not even MS Dhoni cameos can really get the crowd excited any more. Can they turn it around? Or is it already time to sell all our stock despite it reaching an all-time low? To round out the show, we detour briefly to talk about Harry Brook's appointment as England captain, we talk Digvesh Rathi's celebrations, Vipraj Nigam establishing DC's spin trio & Nicholas Pooran's six-hitting prowess as LSG continue to impress. We expect to be back in your feed later in the week with more IPL coverage. In this episode of the show, Raj and Stu look back at two midweek games: Punjab Kings vs Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Gujarat Titans. We start by discussing the most recent game, which saw Gujarat spoil Raj's return to our IPL coverage with a dominant win in Bengaluru. Mohammed Siraj knocked the top off the RCB batting lineup and despite a recovery through the middle and a messy fielding performance from GT, it turned out that 169 wasn't close to enough. Sai Sudharsan set the platform for GT in the powerplay, before Jos Buttler's 73 guided them home. Next we move to Punjab's impressive win against LSG. There's talk about Shreyas Iyer's excellent run of form, PBKS's Indian core doing the business, LSG's absences, Nicholas Pooran's ball-striking and whether it's time to start worrying about Rishabh Pant's lack of runs. To finish, there's a quick look ahead to the upcoming SRH v KKR clash - a 2024 final rematch that now shapes as an important fixture for different reasons in 2025. And what are we watching with our fingers poised ready to pounce in the coming weeks? We start on a positive note, highlighting a balanced RCB side unbeaten at the time of recording thanks to a bowling attack featuring the quality of Josh Hazlewood and a top order that's firing thanks to Phil Salt, Virat Kohli, Rajit Patidar and co. In the Buy section of the show there's also praise for Sai Sudharsan, MS Dhoni and wicketkeepers in general. We're watching the impact player performances and how that's impacting games and batting lineups. We're selling a star-studded Mumbai Indians batting lineup featuring Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya and friends because we can't understand why they're continuing to struggle, and watching closely to see how much tinkering do with their teamsheet, tactics and batting lineup with the likes of Curran, Dhoni, Jadeja and Ashwin who could all slide up and down the middle order. To round out the show, there's chat about whether teams will score 300, how home ground advantage could play a role and if it is too early to be worried about Pat Cummins and his SRH bowling attack. Well, RCB are on top of the IPL points table. Yes, after the first round of matches, the men from Bengaluru are sitting pretty. They delivered a stellar performance against defending champions KKR in the IPL 2025 opener. Early signs are promising for the perennial underachievers. Could 18 finally be their lucky number? Meanwhile, CSK, DC, and SRH kicked off their campaigns with strong performances, but Rajasthan Royals have been dismal in their first two outings. They hardly resemble a side coached by Rahul Dravid. KKR, on the other hand, bounced back emphatically with a dominant win in Guwahati after their opening-day defeat to RCB. What's with teams opting for secondary home venues? Does it truly work in their favour? And no discussion would be complete without sparing a thought for the bowlers. The IPL is becoming an all-out run-fest, leaving bowlers with nowhere to hide. Medicaid, the United States' largest public health insurance program, currently insures over 72 million people with low incomes. Medicaid covers a host of health needs, including those related to sexual and reproductive health (SRH). Madeline Morcelle, Senior Attorney at the National Health Law Program (NHeLP) and co-chair of the National Coalition for Gender Justice in Health Policy, sits down to talk with us about how Medicaid is indispensable for SRH coverage and how recent proposed cuts would impact those who are enrolled.Medicaid plays an essential role in securing SRH for those with low incomes and other underserved communities, including Black, indigenous, and other people of color, people with disabilities, women and LGBTQI+ people, young people, and people with limited English proficiency. States are required to cover family planning services and supplies, pregnancy-related care, and abortion within the Hyde Amendment's exceptions. The House recently passed a budget resolution that requires at least a minimum of $880 billion in budgetary cuts from the Energy and Commerce Committee—who's vast majority of financial jurisdiction is centered in Medicare, Medicaid, and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Assuredly, proposed cuts would cause states to limit eligibility for Medicaid insurance and impact million's access to SRH care. Find Intersectionality Matters where ever you get your podcasts: https://pod.link/1441348908Support the showFollow Us on Social: Twitter: @rePROsFightBack Instagram: @reprosfbFacebook: rePROs Fight Back Bluesky: @reprosfightback.bsky.social Email us: jennie@reprosfightback.comRate and Review on Apple PodcastThanks for listening & keep fighting back!

If you're a longtime listener, then you'll remember we were fortunate enough to bring in Sydelle Barreto, the Policy Manager NAPAWF to talk about Clocking Inequality back on Season 4, Episode 39! NAPAWF has been hard at work with their latest report entitled “Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare in the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Community: Understanding Barriers to Access in Georgia”.  Fajer is a skilled legal advocate with substantial experience in organizing, policy, and legislative advocacy related to reproductive rights and justice, racial equity, survivor justice, and immigrant healthcare. Prior to her work with NAPAWF, she was a senior advisor with the Coalition to Expand Contraceptive Access; a consultant with the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders; a consultant with the Center for Reproductive Rights, as well as other stops.  NAPAWF is the only organization dedicated to uplifting and building power with AANHPI women and girls in the US. Employing a reproductive justice framework to guide their work, they use organizing, advocacy, and communications strategies to assert full agency over our lives, our families, and our communities. Working with the Emory University Center for Reproductive Health Research in the Southeast (RISE), this latest report by NAPAWF seeks to uncover the systemic barriers Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) women and gender-expansive individuals face in accessing sexual and reproductive healthcare (SRH). We recommend you read the full report, donate to NAPAWF, stay informed, and take action. We open the show by discussing the first two T20s between England and India, mainly from an England point of view aside from a SRH fan club shout out for Abhishek Sharma. We talk about closers, Jos Buttler's role and England's reliance on Adil Rashid. From there we move to the Women's Ashes, which have been one-way traffic so far as Australia continue their dominant run that looks to be extending for yet another year on the international stage. Staying in Australia, we also talk about recent discussions in New Zealand about getting some Kiwi sides into the BBL. Would this be good for the competition? For NZ Cricket? For anyone? To round out the show, we look ahead to Australia's upcoming Test tour to Sri Lanka. With injury concerns on both sides and World Test Championship final spots basically secured, how much does this series actually matter? We talk about whether Australia will shuffle the likes of Travis Head and Usman Khawaja, the role Scott Boland could play in Sri Lankan conditions, what we might see from newcomers like Sam Konstas, Beau Webster and Cooper Connolly and Sri Lanka making the most of the Galle fortress.
