In this episode of the show, Stu and Raj discuss the second week of IPL 2026, focusing on RCB v MI, GT v LSG, RR sitting at the top of the ladder and a few other things that have caught their eye so far. We start the show by discussing RCB's most recent victory over the Mumbai Indians. Did Stu make a huge mistake leaving RCB out of his pre-tournament top 4? It's certainly looking that way after Phil Salt joined Rajat Patidar, Virat Kohli, Tim David and friends in finding the middle of his bat. Josh Hazelwood has returned too, but how much will he play? For Mumbai, is it time to sound the alarm? Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult aren't taking wickets, Mitchell Santner's bowling in the powerplay, Rohit Sharma is injured and they find themselves near the bottom of the ladder despite their star-studded lineup. Can they bounce back? Or are these losses a sign of things to come? As we turn our attention to GT v LSG, we also look back at Gujarat's final-ball thriller against the Delhi Capitals, which saw Prasidh Krishna and Jos Buttler combine to thwart David Miller's late flurry. We discuss Rashid Khan's early form, then agree that GT is on the improve and LSG are a good but not great side. Next, it's the table-topping Rajasthan Royals in the spotlight, particularly their openers Vaibhav Suryavanshi and the moustachioed Yashasvi Jaiswal. Is it realistic to think they could they finish the season as the best openers from an impressive collection in IPL 2026? Finally, Raj asks Stu's thoughts on the Sunrisers Hyderabad's start to the season and we bounce around a few quick notes, including Sanju Samson's impressive hundred that saw CSK capture their first win of the season. Callum went through all the junior CAG programmes with Sussex after which he was offered a first pro contract and represented England U19s alongside Ben Duckett and others. Callum then started to coach at high end academies in the UK and Abu Dhabi alongside which he worked as a qualified PT for high net worth clients in London and from these two experiences Callum formed the idea of NET. Soon after opening its doors for the first time he welcomed Jos Buttler to NET's premises and this got him off to a flying start on social media. NET caters for everyone who wants to come and practice their cricket game whether that be an 8 year old or a 60 year old, whether you are in the recreational game, at school or a pro. We're cutting through the PR and "process" talk to look at the high-stakes gambles defining IPL 2026. This is a tactical breakdown of three franchises that have completely nuked their old identities to build something more volatile. Lucknow Super Giants have officially killed off the KL Rahul era. By handing the captaincy to Rishabh Pant and pulling off a blockbuster trade for Mohammed Shami, LSG has gone full "vibes and violence." We debate whether Pant's chaotic leadership is the spark this sterile franchise needed, or if a lack of batting anchors will lead to a total car crash. Sunrisers Hyderabad made the shock move of the off-season by trading Shami away. It's a massive middle finger to traditional bowling balance, proving they are obsessed with outrunning every target. With Pat Cummins leading a thin domestic pace attack, the pressure on Travis Head and Heinrich Klaasen to post 240-plus scores every night is astronomical. Gujarat Titans have created the most terrifying opening partnership in the league by pairing Shubman Gill with Jos Buttler. While their top order looks like a cheat code, the real intrigue is in the middle. We look at why they dropped ₹8.4 crore on uncapped sensation Auqib Dar and whether this "top-heavy" blueprint can survive a long season. Learn more about your ad choices. In this episode of the show, Binksy, Baldy, Raj and Stu are back in the same room again (almost all of us) to kick off the IPL 2026 coverage with a bumper preview show in two parts. This is part two, in which we previewing the fortunes of Sunrisers Hyderabad, the Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bengaluru & Mumbai Indians. We're straight into it this time around to discuss an SRH side that was much hyped in 2025, but never really found a run of performances to get themselves in the playoff picture. Once again, though, the team looks built around power, with Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen set to lead the way. But can the bowling hold up until Pat Cummins arrives? Next up is CSK, a team that Stu was surprised to see ranked so highly. We talk about the youthful look to their potential lineup, which could include the likes of Ayush Mhatre & Dewalt Brevis to supplement the old heads like offseason recruit Sanju Samson, Ruturaj Gaikwad & Shivam Dube. We also wonder whether Matt Henry will get an extended run of games, and how many MS Dhoni moments we might see in 2026. For GT it looks like business as usual. Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan & Jos Buttler at the top, with stars like Rashid Khan, Mohammad Siraj and Prasidh Krishna with the ball. There was some debate about who might fill out the overseas roles, with Kagiso Rabada, Glenn Phillips, Jason Holder & Tom Banton all in the mix, but all in all they look a team set to be hard to beat again in 2026. RCB return to the IPL as defending champions, but potentially without the services of Josh Hazlewood for a decent chunk of the tournament. We talk about how much his absence could hurt them, the impact of Bhuvi Kumar and Krunal Pandya in 2025, plus whether they'll find room for Jacob Bethell and which overseas player might have to sit out as a result. There's also a bit of Virat Kohli chat, given his excellent form in recent times. The Mumbai Indians are short-priced favourites, and it's hard to find many flaws in their potential lineups. They're stacked with Indian stars like Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, & Tilak Varma, and the overseas players aren't too bad either. We talk about the questions facing their side. Quinton de Kock or Ryan Rickelton? Can they fit both Will Jacks & Mitchell Santner into the lineup? And how fun is it to watch Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah bowl in tandem? To round out the preview, we make our predictions! Overseas MVP, local MVP, purple cap, orange cap, top 4, bold predictions and our picks for who will be calling themselves champions come the end of the season. We'll be back in your feed again at the end of the week to discuss the start of the tournament and a few other things going on in the world of cricket. A brilliant runchase spearheaded by Will Jacks and supercharged by Rehan Ahmed pulled off an unlikely victory for England over New Zealand in Colombo. It gives England an impressive unbeaten record in the Super Eights and pits them as semi finalists against either India or West Indies. Simon Hughes and Simon Mann assess how England pulled off such an impressive victory on a tricky pitch and despite another failure for the opening pair of Jos Buttler and Phil Salt. The ingenuity of Harry Brook, the power of South Africa and India's huge threat are also discussed plus the sound of the New Zealand national anthem played at the wrong speed. A bowler dominated Sunday as the meaningful part of the T20 World Cup - the Super 8s - gets underway. Simon Hughes and former Indian batsman Deep Dasgupta assess how India allowed South Africa to make 187 after being 20-3 and then collapsed to 111 all out themselves. In this episode of the show, Binksy, Baldy, Raj and Stu preview the Men's ICC T20 Cricket World Cup 2026. We discuss the key contenders from each group and the questions facing their sides, then make predictions about how the tournament will play out. We start the show with a quick tournament explainer, before moving on to Group A, which features India, Pakistan, Namibia, Netherlands and the USA. The home side comes into the tournament in great form, with runs flowing from the bats of Abhishek Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav & Ishan Kishan, and the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakravarthy with the ball. Pakistan have dealt comfortably with Australia in their most recent games, but will they ever shake their 'mercurial' tag in big ICC events? And can the Kiwi connection help the Netherlands to the Super 8s? Or will the USA be a surprise packet yet again? Group B is home to Sri Lanka, Australia, Ireland, Oman and Zimbabwe, and could be a bit tougher for batters. Pat Cummins is out for the Aussies and Steve Smith wasn't selected, but can Ashes hero Travis Head power them to another title? On paper the Sri Lankan lineup looks a lot of fun, but will playing at home help or hinder their chances? And can Ireland, Zimbabwe or Oman throw a spanner in the works? As the episode continues, we turn our lens towards England's chances in Group C, which also includes the West Indies, Italy, Nepal and Scotland. With Phil Salt, Jos Buttler, Harry Brook, Adil Rashid, Jofra Archer & co., England have plenty of matchwinners - but how many matches will they actually win? The West Indies have power players like Romario Shepherd and Rovman Powell in the lower order, but will the top order set a good enough platform? And will Tom Bruce's Scotland give us a classic World Cup moment? Or will it be the new boys Italy and Nepal? The final group could very well be the most closely fought, with New Zealand's Black Caps, South Africa and Afghanistan battling for two Super 8 spots along with Canada and the UAE. For New Zealand, the batters look in fine touch, with recent runs for Finn Allen, Glenn Phillips and Daryl Mitchell, but will it matter if the bowlers can't keep going the distance? South Africa pushed India hard in the 2024 final, and with Aiden Markram and Quinton de Kock leading the charge, will they go one better this time around? And you'd be brave to write off any side with Rashid Khan, an opening partnership of Ibrahim & Gurbaz, but the real question is - will Gulbadin fall over again? To round out the show, we make our predictions - semi-finalists, winners, top runscorer, top wicket-taker and some bold predictions that may or may not make us look silly in a month's time. We'll be back in your feed again regularly once the tournament starts - potentially with daily recaps from Day 1. In this episode of the show, Binksy, Jamie and Stu look back at week 6 of IPL 2025, which saw the top 7 sides break away, Vaibhav Suryavanshi score a 35-ball century, Mumbai demolish Rajasthan, KKR win a final-ball thriller, Punjab secure a crucial two points against LSG, England name their first Test squad of the summer, and plenty more! We start this week by talking about Sunday's double-header, which saw KKR seal a nervy 1-run victory against RR to keep their slim playoff hopes alive, and Punjab Kings take a big step towards the semi-finals with an impressive victory against LSG. We spend a long time discussing Vaibhav Suryavanshi's cover drive, as well as the skill and quality of Arshdeep Singh as the battle for the Top 4 heats up. From there, we move to Stu's claim that this tournament is tracking towards a Mumbai Indians v Gujarat Titans final. Ryan Rickelton joined Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav in the runs this week, while Trent Boult continues to take wickets alongside Jasprit Bumrah. For GT, it's the top 3 of Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler who continue to shine alongside their balanced bowling attack led by Prasidh Krishna. We discuss how IPL form could lead to Test opportunities, and whether the upcoming match between these two sides could be a preview of the big dance. One side who haven't been flying high in 2025 is Sunrisers Hyderabad, and despite their tiniest of tiny chances of sneaking into the playoffs, we decide it is time to bite the bullet and discuss what went wrong this season. The short answer is everything, but without Baldy there to defend him somehow the conversation turns to whether Pat Cummins is a marquee player in T20 cricket and how SRH could look to improve their bowling attack in 2026. We round out the show by talking some Test cricket, thanks to England naming their first squad of the summer to take on Zimbabwe in a one-off fixture. The boys evaluate the squad, noting Ben Stokes on the comeback trail, an injury to Jordan Cox, a potential debut for Sam Cook, Shoaib Bashir's inclusion and what bearing any of it could have for an exciting summer to come. In part one of our IPL preview series for the 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League, the boys cover Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans. Mumbai Indians were dreadful last season, but have had a big revamp and look like they have fixed some of the huge holes in their line up.
