Serap Aykut'un Instagram sayfasıhttps://www.instagram.com/kisakes_serapaykutSupport the show

We've been excited to make this happen. We at Undetermined the Podcast are proud to welcome Nick Sakes to the family. When I was a young punk, Dazzling Killmen were a core element of everything I loved about hard-core music. His work in Colossamite, Sicbay and Xaddax, had made him seem like an otherworldly figure, to me. We had the pleasure of meeting Nick at Caterwaul a couple of years back. It turns out, he's a very down to earth guy and a cool cat to chat with. His latest release, "Blurred Wires" by Upright Forms is a phenomenal album. Check it out at Skin Graft Records!

This Mother's Day, we'll explore the heart of motherhood through the lens of John 17, where Jesus said, “For their sakes I sanctify Myself.” In moments of fear, frustration, or uncertainty, God invites us to parent from a place of peace, faith, and purpose—seeing our children through their identity in Christ and speaking life into their future. Be encouraged and equipped to walk in your calling with renewed confidence, knowing your prayers and presence matter deeply.

Sakes alive, we're 35, and in this episode we've been inspired by the recent release of Wanderstop to turn our attention to the nebulous topic of cosy games. Is "cosy" a genre? A theme? A vibe? Are all cosy games broadly the same, or is it just a blanket term that can refer to any game without a central combat mechanic? Is "cosy" even still a valid classification now that we've moved so far past all major new titles being, essentially, Doom with a different paint job? All these questions and more will be debated enthusiastically by the Indieventure trio, even if we entirely lack the ability to form a consensus that provides you with definitive answers. What we can manage, however, is to rattle off a bunch of cosy game recommendations, drawing from personal favourites and cosy classics (and indeed both) to come up with a list that encompasses indie titles as disparate as Stardew Valley (naturally), Chicory: A Colorful Tale, Dorfromantik, Dungeons of Hinterberg, the Frog Detective trilogy, House Flipper 2, Lil' Gator Game, Ooblets, PowerWash Simulator, Proteus, Tangle Tower, Tiny Life, TOEM, Wilmot Works It Out, and Frostpunk (no, really!). We also have a crack at an informal group review of Wanderstop, which has elicited an impressive array of thoughts and opinions among a trio of people who normally tend to kind of agree on most things. Who thought what? You'll have to listen to find out, but I can reveal it's a good chat. (And if you haven't yet listened to the recent Indieventure Extra episode where Liam interviews creators Davey Wreden and Karla Zimonja, here's the link to that!) Finally, as always, we end with our current hyperfixations. Liam is still absolutely caning through an essential catalogue of new and recent game releases, and has this time turned his attention to Monster Hunter Wilds, the latest in Capcom's long-running series about invading the habitats of majestic creatures and turning their hides into some fancy pants. Rebecca is trying to live by Wanderstop's example and be kinder to herself, which mainly involves taking a lot of naps at the moment, but she also throws in a couple of bonus recommendations for anti-burnout narratives in the form of Travis Baldree's high fantasy coffee shop novel Legends & Lattes, and of course the evergreen Pokémon Concierge miniseries. And Rachel's circled back to Mindhack, a dystopian visual novel about neutralising enemies of the state with beautiful electronic flowers that painfully rewire their dissident thoughts. You might remember this one from a couple of years ago, and it's good to see it still steadily making its way through early access, and now including four chapters of a planned eight-slash-nine. In this episode, Pastor Dorrell emphasizes how the Apostle Paul understood that the message, though invariably true, gains credibility when the messenger has been visibly and unalterably changed by the message. We ought to live our lives in such a way that we remove all obstacles from a watching world critical of the gospel. We have a sacred responsibility to walk worthy of the gospel of Christ. Description: The background to the Corinthian ecclesia is illustrated and its particular strengths and weaknesses thoroughly examined and discussed. Romans 4:23-24 Now not for his sake only was it written that it was credited to him, but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, as those who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead, The record of God crediting righteousness to Abraham in Genesis was written and preserved by God for us! How blessed we are to have God's Word captured and preserved for us by God. Paul's point to the Romans was that Abraham was a prototype of all throughout the history of mankind who would stand righteous in God's presence. God planned in eternity to give the righteousness of Jesus to ungodly people who believe and trust in Him instead of relying upon their own good works. In this verse and the next, we seek the great assurance of our salvation—the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. We can be encouraged that our assurance doesn't come from something we do, but from what God has done—He raised Jesus from the dead. This has to be said. Jesus was God in the flesh, with a material body, who lived a perfectly righteous life, and was killed and buried in a real tomb where He laid for 3 days. He is a historical figure as real as any other man who has lived on the earth. Now, He lives in us, who believe and have given Him full access to our lives that He might live and love through us, for His glory. We are miracles of grace empowered by the only superpower on the planet—the love of God through the resurrected life of Christ. Let's remember that we are not earthly normal—that person died when Jesus died. To be Christian is to display the supernatural love of God in union with Jesus Christ. Keita Tominaga and Steve Jaxon. Keita Tominaga from the renowned Japanese restaurant Hana, in Rhonert Park is our guest on Brew Ha Ha today. Steve Jaxon is in the studio for the interview, as are Harry Duke and Herlinda Heras. Keita is the oldest son of Ken Tominaga, who founded Hana. He has been cooking since he was 19 and has been the executive chef at Hana for over a year. His father passed away last May and everyone mourns his loss and misses him very much. Ken Tominaga opened Hana before Keita was born. Originally the place was very small, and was based on traditional Japanese menu. Gradually it became so well known that it is considered perhaps the best Japanese restaurant in northern California. The Hana Sake Bar Hana has a Sake bar, which is a newer part of the restaurant. Long after opening, when they remodeled about 8 or 9 years ago, they added the space for the Sake bar. His father started importing Sake from Japanese producers directly. Keita explains that Sake is based on rice, grown, harvested and fermented a certain way. It is an intricate tradition that takes a lot of culture and practice. There are varieties of types and flavors, like beer and wine. Herlinda explains that Sake is erroneously thought of as rice wine. It is really much closer to the process of brewing beer. Herlinda Heras & the late Ken Tominaga. Keita has brought Japanese rice balls, which he explains is the Japanese children's equivalent of PB&J to American kids. You form triangular rice balls with your hand, add any kind of filling, and wrap in seaweed. The restaurant is looking for staff so if anyone is interested, they are willing to train in their traditions. An Immense List of Sake Hana's Sake list is immense. Sake can also be seasonal. There are some fresh-squeezed and non-pasteurized Sake can come in the Spring, called Nigori and Nama. The variety also comes with the variety of food items. Some are sweet and savory and go with bigger full-bodied sake. A lighter kind of Sake could go with something like Sushi or white fish. There are all kinds of Sake and they have all kinds of names too. Russian River Brewing Co. is open in Santa Rosa on 4th St. and at their big Windsor location. Visit their website for up-to-date hours, menus, beers and more info. Keita suggests that if Sake is too cold, you can miss some of the flavors. He also likes it hot. At one time Hot Sake had a reputation of being cheap, in the USA. In Japan, warming up the Sake is a sign of hospitality to guests. They have different hot Sakes on the menu in the winter. A bowl of Japanese type soup or a hot pot of Udon noodles would go with that. Right now Hana is open Tuesday and Thursday 4:30-9 and Friday and Saturday 4-9.
