Their Holidaze tour kicks off in a few weeks and their latest album On The Prowl came out earlier this year.

I started listening to it in Oct of 2020 and it really made the rest of Covid bearable. I love that Steel Panther doesn't take themselves too seriously; however, they are SERIOUSLY badass musicians. They used to be a Van Halen cover band called Atomic Punks, then Metal Skool and finally Steel Panther. Michael Star has the pipes, Satchel has the guitar chops, Stix Zadinia has the rhythm with his drums and Lexi Foxxx has the bass groove, the lip gloss and hairspray. Casey got us tickets to see them in 2021 and paid for a Cameo happy birthday song to me from the one and only Satchel. And at their show, they knew i was going to be there, so they wished me a happy birthday and dedicated a very raunchy song to me! This album is so fun to listen to. If you don't take yourself too seriously either, i recommend you FEEL THE STEEL"

This week Rob is joined by Chan and drummer from legendary rock band Steel Panther, Stix Zadinia and the show opens with some talk about Stix band, including a tease about their forthcoming record. The guys go on to discuss some of the history of Steel Panther and their thoughts on recently released Netflix film ‘The Dirt' about Mötley Crüe. Chan then turns to some current events including an inventive attempt to mask intoxicated driving, what their CB names would be if they had them and an Indiana man who accidentally shot himself right in the penis. This week Rob is joined by Chan and drummer from legendary rock band Steel Panther, Stix Zadinia and the show opens with some talk about Stix band, including a tease about their forthcoming record. The guys go on to discuss some of the history of Steel Panther and their thoughts on recently released Netflix film ‘The Dirt’ about Mötley Crüe. Chan then turns to some current events including an inventive attempt to mask intoxicated driving, what their CB names would be if they had them and an Indiana man who accidentally shot himself right in the penis. Steel Panther’s Michael Starr and Satchel join Fozzy guitarist Rich Ward and Y2J to debate the merits of Van Halen’s “1984” and “5150” – David Lee Roth’s last album with the band, and Sammy Hagar’s first.  They remember their respective introductions to Van Halen, list off their favorite Eddie solos, share their original reactions to the band’s split with David Lee Roth, and what they all initially thought of Sammy.
