Now that everyone's back from the cruise, it's time for a reckoning. Peter tells Eve he wants a divorce because of the way she maneuvered him off the ship for days so that she could bone Tony, but she yells that actually Amanda did that. So Peter confronts Amanda about that, not knowing she's coming straight from seeing the film Lexi ruined and is truly in no mood. Tony refuses to shell out for a reshoot, so Amanda assesses her life and next steps and ends up, where else, at the hospital to tell Peter that while she did scheme to keep him from getting on the launch off the island, sleeping with him wasn't part of her plan. Peter decides to end his marriage, Amanda decides to close her agency, and if Eve and Kyle aren't happy about having all their suspicions confirmed, that's their problem -- or it is until Eve seems determined to make it everyone's problem. The shuttering of Amanda's agency also clears a path for Lexi to go after Tony's business herself, and by "Tony's business," we mean...well, you know what we mean. Also: Terry is still in town, making moves on Ryan that are obvious to everyone but him. You might need a stiff drink for our podcast on "Lexi Gets Stiffed"! JOIN THE AWT CLUB

The defendant says the plaintiff didn't keep a record of his hours and appointments, so he doesn't believe he has to pay him anything. The defendant says the plaintiff is a scammer who sent his dogs to him because they fought, which is why they had cuts. Plus, the plaintiff says the defendant crashed into him while he was at a standstill in a parking lot. The defendant is refusing to cover the damages, so the plaintiff is suing. #Gaza #Hospital #recording #intercept #Israel #Biden #jimjordan #ArabLeaders #blame #BloodLines Who was behind the blast at a Gaza hospital that reportedly killed at least 500 people taking shelter? Israel Defense Forces claim it was a failed rocket launch by Islamic Jihad, a group aligned with Hamas. A just released recording seems to back up that narrative. IDF is saying an analysis of their own operational systems indicates that a barrage of rockets was fired by terrorists in Gaza, passing in close proximity to the Al Ahli hospital at the time it was hit.” IDF says a hospital is a sensitive building and would not be a target. Fox is reporting that Hamas is calling the attack "genocide." We will speak with John Rothmann about this and President Biden's trip to Israel today. A man looking to make bail decided to place some sports bets to make the necessary 10k. He bet on the Rams, Jets, Raiders, Liberty, Bills and Lions. It was a six team money parlay that made him more than enough to head home. A father and son team wrote a suspenseful thriller that will have you turning pages all night long. Blood Lines was released on October 10th. It ties espionage, terrorism, and political intrigue together until the surprising end. We will visit with Nelson DeMille, a decorated US Army veteran and 8-time #1 New York Times best-selling author and his son, Alex DeMille, a director and film editor, to talk about the project. The plaintiff says the defendant is his younger brother. He claims he loaned him money when he fell on hard times, but he got stiffed. He's suing his sibling to get paid back. The defendant says he makes plenty of money and denies ever taking a loan from his brother. He's countersuing for lost wages. Then, the plaintiff claims he went to work for a family friend at his air-conditioning company, but the guy is refusing to pay him, so he's suing the defendant for past wages and late fees. The defendant says he tried to help the man out, but claims the plaintiff was a problem from the start. Plus, when the plaintiff brought her truck to the defendant to repair, she says he sat on the job for a year. She claims he thinks she's a little old lady he can scam, but she's suing for money he owes her. The defendant says he loaned the plaintiff a car for a year while he looked for a new engine, but she cursed him out constantly. He says he owes nothing. Santigold is an artist who exists at the cross-section of punk, dub, new wave and indie pop. Long frustrated with attempts like these to classify her style, Santi has always been a proud outlier among the restrictive categories used to divide music. Santi's anti-establishment bent was in part a reaction to working as an A&R for Epic Records' black music department. Frustrated with what they categorized as “urban music” in the early aughts, Santi left her job, went home to Philly, and started a punk band called Stiffed. After honing her chops for a few years as a lead singer, Santi released her debut solo album, Santigold in 2008. The album's lead singles “Creator” and “L.E.S. Artistes” were a revelation when they came out, and led to Santi headlining tours around the world and even opening shows for Bjork, Coldplay, Jay-Z and the Beastie Boys. Now with three other albums to her credit, including last year's soul-stirring Spirituals, Santigold is celebrating the 15th anniversary of her debut release. And today she's expanded her artistic endeavors to include a podcast called Noble Champions where she mines the creative life with friends like Olivia Wilde, Questlove and Yasiin Bey. On today's episode Leah Rose talks to Santigold about the unique path she took to build her solo career. Santi also shares why she decided to cancel her tour last year with a heartfelt public letter that shared insight into the financial and emotional toll of touring post-pandemic. She also recalls finding out that she was included in a list of influential black female artists on Beyonce's “Break My Soul” remix. She's also played bass guitar in an all-female rock band called Artemis. In recent years, Dr Judy has been a first responder to disasters around the world (including in Haiti, Japan, China, Iran and the U.S.). Today, she acts as a representative of NGOs at the United Nations and an advisor to ambassadors. You also may know her as one of the amazing women Jenn interviewed on the podcast STIFFED earlier this year.Today we're talking all about sex in the 1970s, the most common sexual issues couples have, how to grow up, do everything you want and live without regret and more. Through the story of VIVA, an erotic magazine for women created by Bob Guccione (founder of the men's magazine Penthouse), we are getting a history lesson today on FEMINISM! First wave, second wave, third wave, fourth wave? What does it all mean and where are we now? A little background: While VIVA was created by one of the most prominent figures in adult entertainment, it was staffed by female writers and editors and featured groundbreaking full-frontal male nudes, writing by feminist icons like Betty Friedan and profiles of literary legends like Maya Angelou. Its cover stars include Bianca Jagger and Shelley Duvall. Anna Wintour was even VIVA's fashion editor at one point. But what is originally conceived as a high-end, progressive, sexual utopia for women… doesn't quite turn out that way. Jennifer Romolini is an award-winning writer, editor, and author of "Weird in a World That's Not: A Career Guide for Misfits" and the upcoming memoir, “Ambition Monster” (Atria Books, 2024). A longtime media executive, Romolini is the host of Crooked Media's latest series “STIFFED”, which tells the true story of VIVA, one the first erotic magazines for women, and co-host of the “Everything is Fine” podcast with former Lucky Magazine editor-in-chief, Kim France. Trump stiffed an entire Miami Cuban restaurant after pleading not guilty to a crap ton of charges relating to his absconding of top secret docs. The PGA Tour merger is under investigation for breaking antitrust laws. Legendary whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg passed away. Tooty Rudy Giuliani used an email address with a female alias relating to emails about the insurrection. The cabal known as the National Association of Christian Lawmakers has dedicated itself to installing a Christian nationalist government. Golden-voiced hate pastor Shane Vaugh reminded us that Trump is indeed above the law. The Supremes in Iowa struck down a 6 week abortion ban. JEEBUS wanker Kent Christmas begged Christians to die for their creepy causes. Witch-hunter Greg Locke destroyed a dollhouse with a padded baseball bat to make a bizarre point about Christianity. Silver-tongued biblical mouthpiece Kenneth Copeland blathered that our laws should be based on conversations Jesus had with George Washington. The Biden-Burisma scandal is the saddest nothing-burger ever.

Synopsis It was on this day in 1929 that a new march by John Philip Sousa was played for the first time – once – and then promptly forgotten until almost 60 years later. The “Foshay Tower Washington Memorial March” was commissioned by Wilbur Foshay, a high-flying Minneapolis businessman of the Roaring 20s who fell victim to the stock market crash and criminal charges of mail fraud. One of his extravagant projects was the Foshay Tower he built in downtown Minneapolis, a building shaped like the Washington Monument. The building still stands, with Foshay's name carved in huge letters on all sides of the obelisk, now renovated as a historic site. In the lobby hangs Wilbur Foshay's portrait, along with the score of Sousa's march, which the March King himself conducted in Minneapolis on today's date in 1929. Soon after Wilbur Foshay's empire of public utilities, factories and banks crumbled to dust, and he was convicted of fraud, spending two years and eleven months in Leavenworth prison. Not surprisingly, John Philip Sousa never got paid for his commission. He considered giving it a new name: “The Washington Memorial March,” but then decided to withdraw the piece completely, and the music was not published or performed again until 1988.
