While little is currently known about the futuristic supersport's performance, based on the teaser video, internet sleuths have deduced the bike is a center-hub steered machine. Trek just announced the Ponto Go, its first moped-style electric utility bike, through its Electra brand. The Ponto Go is outfitted with a long rear rack, an extended bench seat with foot pegs for a second rider, pedal forward geometry, and high rise handlebars. The tandem vehicle can reach a top speed of 26 mph (42 kph) with pedal assist and has a max range of 60 miles (96 km). Indian manufacturer Mahindra's new electric rickshaw, the e-Alfa Super, is a modern utility vehicle with 59 miles (95 km) of range on a single charge. (But if you do run out of juice, the vehicle comes with access to 10,000 charging stations across India). Mahindra claims the new three-wheeler is “best-in-class” for its safety and comfort features. Electric trikes truly come in all shapes in sizes. Take, for example, the new Vook, which looks likes a cross of a gokart and beach cruiser with its low center of gravity and swept-back handelbars. John has started reading Kindle books on his iPhone…even after questioning why anyone would do that. Doh! The ODM crew wants to know if John has purchased any more Vooks. Yes, he decided to give Vooks another chance and bought Gary Vaynerchuk’s “Crush It” in Vook format. Amazon has just released Kindle software for Windows that’s decidedly for the netbook crowd. The class action lawsuits against the social gaming companies have arrived. Are Facebook and Myspace liable for the actions of these networks? We doubt it. A boxee box is coming! We want. Rob built his own MythTV box! Netflix may support the MPAA 30-day window on new releases! We’re not happy. Why not release James Cameron’s upcoming film “Avatar” across all platforms at once, just to see how the revenue streams unfold? Rupert Murdoch said that he’s going to block Google and remove all content from his properties from the search engine. Hah! “This is the media mogul equivalent of Jumping the Shark.” An interesting coup for Microsoft should Murdoch cut a deal with Bing to allow them to index his content. CNN just released their iPhone app. Sirius XM is now adding an additional $2 fee to your monthly bill to cover the performance royalty fees paid to musicians and artists. Since Howard Stern’s deal with Sirius was tied to the stock price which is now at an all-time low, how will he have fared at the end of his contract? Howard Stern will be the greatest, most successful podcaster ever once his contract with Sirius XM is up. It would also make a great iPhone app! Click rates on display ads have dropped 50% to only 16% of the online audience. “The ad networks are ruining online publishing.” — Whiny Publishers CPM ads on videos are doing pretty well, according to Viddler.
