Ghosting Bewerbung – Funkstille, wo eigentlich der ersehnte Anruf kommen sollte. Fast jeder Bewerber kennt das beklemmende Gefühl, wenn die Mailbox leer bleibt und im Posteingang nur Stille herrscht. In dieser Episode erfährst du, warum selbst Top-Unternehmen manchmal abtauchen – und wie du die Situation zu deinem Vorteil drehst.   Der Begriff „Ghosting“ steht für den völligen Kommunikationsabbruch im Bewerbungsprozess. Häufig geschieht das direkt nach dem Versand deiner Unterlagen, manchmal allerdings erst nach dem zweiten Gespräch und gelegentlich sogar nach einem zugesagten Vertragsentwurf. Wichtig: In den meisten Fällen steckt kein böser Wille dahinter, sondern schlicht Prioritätenchaos.   Ursache #1 – Recruiting ist oft kein Kernprozess. Viele Firmen konzentrieren sich zunächst auf Produktion, Kundenprojekte und Umsatz. Fällt der Ansprechpartner aus, brennt ein Kundenprojekt an oder stirbt eine Mailbox mangels Pflege ab, rutscht dein Dossier blitzschnell auf die Ersatzbank. Dennoch habe ich erlebt, dass ein späteres Nachhaken trotz anfänglichem Ghosting zum Job führte – denn am Ende war schlicht niemand zuständig gewesen.   Heißt das automatisch, das Unternehmen sei schlecht? Keineswegs. Selbst Konzerne mit Hochglanz-Karriereseite haben Lücken im Bewerbermanagement. Deshalb solltest du Ghosting weniger als Abwertung begreifen, sondern als Signal, das du aktiv beantworten kannst.   Zunächst gilt: Beuge Funkstille vor, bevor du klickst. Suche den persönlichen Draht zum HR-Manager oder Abteilungsleiter. Ein kurzer Anruf schafft Namen, Prozessklarheit und Vertrauen. Je weniger anonym du bist, desto schwerer fällt das Ghosten.   Danach heißt es: Bleib in Bewegung. Notiere vereinbarte Fristen, setze Reminder und melde dich höflich wenige Tage vor Ablauf: „Wie angekündigt wollte ich einmal nachhören …“. Weil 95 % aller Bewerber darauf verzichten, stehst du sofort in der Pole-Position.   Zudem lohnt sich ein Blick ins Netzwerk. LinkedIn und Xing zeigen dir, wer intern sitzt. Ein ehemaliger Kommilitone kann diskret herausfinden, ob der Fachvorgesetzte gerade im Projekteinsatz steckt oder die HR-Software streikt. So holst du deine Bewerbung aus dem virtuellen Papierkorb.   Gerade im Mittelstand wirkt persönliches Erscheinen Wunder. Viele Chefs schätzen diesen proaktiven Schritt – besonders, wenn im Tagesgeschäft E-Mails untergehen. Ein kurzer Besuch am Empfang verschafft dir häufig sofortiges Feedback.   Außerdem solltest du das Ghosting-Signal analysieren. Vielleicht deckt es chaotische Prozesse auf – ein Thema, das du als künftiger Mitarbeiter sogar lösen kannst. Oder du stellst fest, dass permanentes Durcheinander nicht zu dir passt. Beide Erkenntnisse sind wertvoll.   Fazit: Höfliche Hartnäckigkeit schlägt Schweigen. Nutze klare Übergänge, stelle Verbindungen her und verwandle Funkstille in deinen Karriereturbo. Damit wird Ghosting Bewerbung nicht zum Karriere-Killer, sondern zur Bühne für deinen Auftritt.  

Lando Norris hat sich die Pole-Position in Spa gesichert. Der Engländer drehte im McLaren-Duell den Spieß um und verwies Oscar Piastri auf Platz zwei. Dritter wurde im Qualifying der Ferrari-Pilot Charles Leclerc. Nach seinem Erfolg im Sprint musste sich Max Verstappen mit Rang vier zufriedengeben. Red Bull hatte im Gegensatz zum Mittag auf mehr Abtrieb gesetzt, weil für den Grand Prix Regen vorhergesagt ist. Mit zu wenig Downforce wäre der Formel-1-Weltmeister chancenlos. Umgekehrt ging man bei Mercedes vor. Man zockte bei George Russell und schickte ihn mit wenig Abtrieb in die Qualifikation. Dennoch sprang nur Platz sechs heraus. Sollte der Regen kommen, hätte Russell alle Hände voll zu tun ein gutes Ergebnis einzufahren. Sein ehemaliger Teamkollege Lewis Hamilton musste die nächste schwere Schlappe einstecken. Nach einem Track-Limits-Vergehen wurde seine beste Runde gestrichen und er war in Q1 raus. Startplatz 16 war ein Tiefschlag für den Superstar der Formel 1. Here are some deets fresh off the Croisette from the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity—basically the ad industry's Oscars but also the global epicenter of brand culture—that happened in mid-June. Expensify's chief financial officer Ryan Schaffer, and Hannes Ciatti, founder and head creative at ad agency Alto, gave me the inside story of how the brand got such a prominent role, including a scene in which they shoot an Expensify commercial in the film.
