Instead of seeking an even split between work and life, I think of it as work-life integration. It's about finding a flow where work and life complement each other and create a more fluid experience.Before we dive into the struggles, I recommend taking my work-life assessment. You an find it here:It's a quick questionnaire that will generate custom results and provide tools to create more balance in your life. 15 real-life struggles and their solutions for work-life balance. The first struggle is difficulty disconnecting from work, even when you're off the clock. To address this, create a vision for yourself and set boundaries to mentally and physically disconnect from work when you're not working.The second struggle is feeling overwhelmed by a heavy workload. To tackle this, prioritize your tasks and simplify your to-do list. Avoid procrastination, as it leads to an unsustainable cycle of building up work.The third struggle is struggling to prioritize competing demands on time. Communicate with others to renegotiate deadlines and seek support when needed. Changing deadlines can help you focus on one task at a time and avoid spreading yourself too thin.The fourth struggle is feeling guilty about taking time off or delegating tasks. Shift your mindset and recognize that taking time off and asking for support benefits your well-being and productivity. Start small and build evidence of its positive impact on your life.The fifth struggle is a difficulty setting boundaries with coworkers or clients.
