Let's Review! Attachment is a Major Key for Better RelationshipsYour Attachment Style helps you understand how you relate to others, what your triggers and blindspots are (and why), and gives you a map to what you Need to feel safe and happy.Everyone has either an Insecure style or a Secure style.Insecure Attachers struggle with maintaining healthy relationships due to excessive anxiety and/or avoidance. The goal is to Shift to Secure attachment where you can have solid, lasting relationships. First and foremost, your relationship with yourself will improve as you get a better grasp on your emotions and thoughts. Then, you're able to engage with others in new, healthier ways.Pioneers of Attachment Theory: Mary Ainsworth and John BowlbyVolume 1 of Bowlby's Attachment Trilogy: https://www.amazon.com/Attachment-Loss-Vol-John-Bowlby/dp/0712674713Thank you for your support!1-on-1: Interest FormQuestions and Topic Requests: Submit Here$taychand PayPal Venmo Website: https://www.iamtaylorchandler.com/Instagram: @iamtaylorchandler YouTube: @iamtaylorchandlerThreads: @iamtaylorchandler

Having empathy for their experiences and feeling the pain of how their experiences have negatively affected the way they related to you.Or you may be less conflicted and more enraged. You want them to feel what you feel.Or you might be less enraged and more disconnected. We've heard mindset is everything. Limiting Beliefs have been a popular (mainstream) way of expanding a restricted mind. But when you have a spiritual issue, you can affirm and challenge your thinking all you want and still not see the progress you should see.Strongholds are the spiritual parallels to Limiting Beliefs, but not quite equal. Strongholds are stronger and tricker to detect, in large part because mainstream culture doesn't even talk about it. Secondarily, many don't know how to take Strongholds down! This is Spiritual Warfare and it could be affecting your life and relationships right now, keeping you in negative cycles and ruts, despite how hard you try to get out of it.There is a way out! A very common pattern in romantic relationships: one person is constantly trying to move the relationship in a particular direction and the other is sitting back, much less involved, engaged or active. One person feels they're the only one that really cares and the other feels helpless and powerless to really make any change. There are 3 ways of looking at this dynamic - 1. Anxious / Avoidant 2. Codependent3. Ahab / JezebelWe've talked a lot about the Anxious-Avoidant pair over the last 9 seasons and we'e broken time Codependency! Now let's see the Spiritual issue behind this dynamic._Ephesians 6:12For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.1-on-1 Interest: https://mkd8uhsug6i.typeform.com/to/MkDPUneBBible Study: https://TaylorChandler.as.me/?appointmentType=47308139Thank you for your support!$taychand PayPal Venmo Website: https://www.iamtaylorchandler.com/Instagram: @iamtaylorchandler Threads: @iamtaylorchandlerYouTube: @iamtaylorchandler

You really can change what you may been experiencing all your life! You either have an Insecure or Secure Attachment.Insecure Attachers struggle with Anxiety and/or Avoidance in intimate relationships. In the second half, I introduce the Spiritual Problem. There is a spiritual association to the traumas we experience here in the physical world. Our souls are affected by emotional and mental pain.We talk about spiritual attack / demonic intrusion that occurs when you have insecure relationship experiences, such as rejection and abandonment.Ephesians 6:12For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.2 Corinthians 10:5We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.Thank you for your support!$taychand PayPal Venmo Website: https://www.iamtaylorchandler.com/Instagram: @iamtaylorchandler Threads: @iamtaylorchandlerYouTube: @iamtaylorchandler

Ashley completed 1-on-1s and the Reattach Coaching Program! One of the many things I love about Ashley and this episode is that her trigger into healing her codependency occurred with a platonic friend. Many others (including me!) have experienced this with friends and it's awesome to hear someone talking openly about it, since most of the time we're referring to romantic partners.Listen to her talk about the "DREAD" she felt in this relationship and how she learned a framework for letting go that she is able to use in day-to-day life.Ashley has embraced the warm parts of her but has put boundaries in place to protect those same parts. She can be herself while not being taking advantage of or feeling resentful towards others. Success!I hope you enjoy the episode.
