Woke culture isn't just some passing trend or a punchline about purple-haired activists. It's a dangerous ideology that's infiltrating everything-our schools, universities, corporations, and governments. If we don't wake up to what's really going on, the values that built Western society are at risk of being completely torn apart. In this video, we're going to take a deep dive into where wokeism came from, tracing it back to Marxism, postmodernism, and other critical theories that laid the foundation for the chaos we see today. We'll explore how ideas like "diversity, equity, and inclusion" aren't as harmless as they sound, and how these woke doctrines are used to manipulate us into silence. More importantly, we'll talk about what we're fighting for-the values that made the West great: reason, individual freedom, and a belief in objective truth. If you're ready to really understand the woke mind virus and how to stand up to it, then let's dive in. * (00:00) Intro * (02:58) The Current Woke Narrative * (04:27) Marxism * (07:17) Socialism * (10:08) The tragedies of Soviet Union and Mao's China * (12:39) Communism * (14:46) Post-modernism * (23:31) Critical Race Theory* (26:13) Radical Feminism* (27:46) Red-pill is a backlash against radical feminism * (28:46) Post-colonialism* (33:45) Queer Theory* (38:08) Modern Wokeism* (39:30) All movies are woke now * (47:16) DEI: Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion * (53:52) The Western Legacy* (58:18) The youth are taught to HATE Western culture Get full access to Human Nature by Roni Fouks at ronifouks.substack.com/subscribe

This conversation is a little different. We thought that exploring the life of, say, Russell Kirk might not be the best way to spend the weeks before such a consequential election, so this is the first of of a few episodes that won't be about a text or a life, but about the 2024 elections—hopefully digging a little deeper than most, and with a special concern for the themes and topics of Know Your Enemy. To help us get started, we had on a great friend of the podcast, playwright and screenwriter Dorothy Fortenberry, to talk about a presidential campaign that "smacks of gender," from declining sperm counts to abortion to the lives of moms, dads, and children today. In short, it's an unguarded discussion of how we can better care for each other in a world that's making it harder and harder to do just thatSources:Dorothy Fortenberry, "The J.D. Radical activists are increasingly seeking to ignore women. Female athletes face discrimination, moms are told that they do not have a say in their children's education, and women are under increasing threat. Feminism, the very movement that was supposed to ensure women's equality and success, has led to a world in which women are being erased. To understand this topic, we're talking with Carrie Gress, a scholar, wife, and mother, whose latest book, "The End of Woman," explores this topic. Gress is the author of 10 books and the founder and co-editor of the online women's magazine Theology of Home. If you have ever been drawn to being a traditional wife and mother or if you have ever struggled to understand the feminist movement, you will be enlightened by this conversation!

I hope y'all are ready to learn this week, because we had a whoooole lot to say! For this two-part conversation, I was joined by the lovely Andrea Vivas to discuss the importance of radical feminism and what that means to us as two passionate women of color. We also discuss what feeling empowered as a woman means for us individually and the power that comes from reclaiming our time & energy in a patriarchal society. **Disclaimers** 1. We do NOT speak for all women. We speak for our individual experiences. 2. Understand that we are NOT generalizing anybody, nor is this conversation anti-men. We are two unapologetic women of color who've had enough of patriarchal bs, and we are rightfully speaking from experiences. Dipiti and I were in the mountains of North Carolina working (and partying) at the Matriarch Rising Festival in June. Dipiti has worked and volunteered for many women's festivals around the US, but this year, Matriarch Rising Festival was her number one priority. Dipiti explains the essentials for throwing the best women-only events (hint: it starts with knowing what a woman is). Dipiti brings to the conversation her experiences in the BDSM world, which seemingly offers women defined sexual boundaries. But is it possible to heal past violations while exposing ourselves to further exploitation? We also discuss porn and its false promises of empowerment, marriage, which of our human rights we trade for social and financial safety and finally, how radical feminism provides the lens to analyze sexual politics from our own personal experience. Feminism has run its course, right off the cliff, and men are checking out of dating relationships in large and increasing numbers.  Feminists are noticing this because as the months pass, there are fewer and fewer well-grounded men who have any interest in a dating relationship with women.  The pendulum is swinging back away from the gynocentric world model.  As men, we need to stand on the walls of our cultures and stop the pendulum when it comes back into the center.  If we let it swing past center, we will simply enter another divisive cultural cycle that will allow those who do not have our best interests at heart to continue their work to keep us from doing the one thing that will prevent them from creating chaos in our lives and families - unify as a people within our cultures.  A world full of people unified and standing together in their respective cultures is impossible to control and enslave because there are too many of us to do it, but only if we are standing together within our cultures.

Miss Conduct: A True Crime Podcast

The Gulabi Gang is a women's rights organisation that focuses on social work for women in North India. It is also famous for its violent reactionary actions against people that commit crimes against women.Gulabi Gang was founded by Sampat Pal, in a distant remote village in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The village, called Banda, was one of many many small towns that were heavily impacted by violence against women. Sampat, along with almost 300,000 members, organised a women's movement that spread across the state of UP.These women called themselves the Gulabi Gang – because they dressed in gulabi clothing. Gulabi loosely translates to “the colour of a rose” or… well, the colour pink! Clad in pink sarees, the members of the Gulabi Gang armed themselves with bamboo sticks and other weapons, ready to use them to protect the powerless from abuse and fight corruption that causes women's issues. The group's mission statement is – “Support and train women to enhance their basic skills to become economically secure and develop the confidence to protect themselves from abuse through sustainable livelihood options.”Aside from protesting peacefully in certain cases, the Gulabi Gang is notorious for taking the law into their own hands. This has included: hunting down alleged perpetrators of physical or sexual violence, causing unrest among local populations in order to right anything that they considered wrong, and publicly shaming people they considered offenders, in a manner bordering on defamation.Find out more at - https://ivmpodcasts.com/miss-conduct-blogYou can follow our hosts on Instagram.Miss Conduct: https://instagram.com/missconductpodRagavi: https://www.instagram.com/ragi.dosai/Nisha: https://www.instagram.com/just.nishful.thinking/You can listen to this show and other awesome shows on the IVM Podcasts app on Android: https://ivm.today/android or iOS: https://ivm.today/ios, or any other podcast app. You can check out our website at https://shows.ivmpodcasts.com/featuredDo follow IVM Podcasts on social media. We are @IVMPodcasts on Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram.Follow the show across platforms:Spotify, Apple Podcasts, JioSaavan, Gaana, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music

We learned a lot about Rachel during her set, including that she has hit some impressive weight-loss milestones over the past year.Listeners join the live audience as Dawn and Rachel sit down together on a lush love-seat, surrounded by books and prepare themselves for the HILF-ing ahead:---EPISODE BREAKDOWN---00:04:00 - Dawn brings everyone up to speed on how the two first met - and why it felt like love at first sight. Rachel tells us about a recent adventure she had with her mom - during which they ate cannabis and talked about sex! Dawn discusses her relationship with homosexuality, and when she realized she was straight. 00:13:14 - Dawn lays out her plan for the HILF-ing of Lesbians: to begin with the first historical reference and then a few of her favorite moments that bring us right up to today.  00:14:04 - CHAPTER ONE: The OG Lesbian, Sappho of Lesbos. We hear the tale of this ancient, Pagen poetess who was world-famous but whose sexuality was only a 'big deal' long after her death. A string of leaders within the growing Christian movement aspired to burn Sappho and all of her poetry from the historical record. They largely succeeded, unfortunately, a few poems and a few portions of other poems have survived. Dawn reads a brief portion of one and it gets steamy! 00:25:18 - CHAPTER TWO: The Lesbian Sex Wars.Dawn brings us forward in time several hundred years to America in 1970's and the midst of the Civil Rights Movement. As several varying groups of minorities are organizing and fighting for freedom and representation, a bizarre rift developed among the Women's Right's Movement. On the one side were the Radical Feminists like Catharine A MacKinnon and Andrea Dworkin who are anti-porn and anti-kink. On the other, a group of BDSM-leather-loving women who called themselves the Lesbian Sex Mafia. They squared off in 1982 at the Barnard College Conference on Sexuality... I know, to be a fly on the wall, right 00:38:04 - CHAPTER THREE: Dykes on Bikes. After some 'cunt-a-linquistics' of the origin of the word 'dyke' Dawn tells the story of how the famous motorcycle club, Dykes on Bikes came to be. It, like leather and motorcycle culture among men, grew out of World War 2 and the individuals who found themselves on the forefront of the mechanics and technology of these relatively new machines.  In 2006 the motorcycle club known as Dykes on Bikes won their suit against the US Patent Office which refused the registration of their trademark due to a "slur" in the title. They successfully argued that 'Dyke' is not a slur - and if it is regarded so, it is not held as such within the community. They later assisted an Asian-American band called 'Tan and the Slants' win their case in 2017.---NEXT EPISODE - July 20th, 2022: EP20 - THE HILF ORGY is a mash-up of never-before-heard segments from previous HILF episodes, and it will be the last episode of our first season. They confiscated Iceni wealth and killed indiscriminately. They flogged Boudicca and raped her daughters in the market square.Boudicca bided her time and galvanized her forces. She also managed to bring together other tribes of Britannia to mount a rebellion against the Roman occupiers. Spurred by revenge she was successful for a while, regaining much of the land the Iceni had lost. The New Discourses Podcast with James Lindsay, Episode 70 We often hear that Woke Marxism is a new ideology in the world. I've even said so. Well, it isn't. It's just an old one repackaged in various ways without any essential changes made to it at all. Critical Race Theory is Race Marxism in the same way as what we usually call Marxism is Class Marxism. Radical Feminism is Sex Marxism. Gender ideology and Queer Theory are Sex, Gender, and Sexuality Marxism, or just Gender Marxism or Sexual Marxism to be more concise. Fat studies is Fat Marxism. Disability studies is Ability Marxism. Critical Education Theory (Critical Pedagogy) is Knowledge Marxism in terms of what it means to be formally educated or literate within the existing system. Postmodern postructuralism is Language Marxism. Postcolonial Theory is National Origin Marxism. And on it goes, with all of these cobbled together by intersectionality, which is Identity Marxism. In this episode of the New Discourses Podcast, James Lindsay breaks down the essential kernel of Marxist thought and makes perfectly clear how all of the claims in this paragraph are true. Join him to understand what's going on in our world today in these simple, straightforward, yet sobering terms.
