In the spirit of the thinning veil in October through Samhain and Halloween, we thought we would come together and share some of our experiences with spirits and ghosts of places. In this podcast episode I share my experience with Peony (Paeonia officinalis). Unlike the tea meditations this was an in person exchange during a photoshoot with a my favorite fine art photographer @secretgardenwalden in her 35 year old perennial gardens. Her photographs of me and her lucious peonies are the next two slides so you can get a visual of what I was talking about in the episode. This plant has supported me mostly energetically but also physically with hormone balance. I hope you enjoy this dreamy story as much as I did back when the flowers were ripe with essence and aroma.

In this episode, in honor of Samhain and the Witches New year, I share many of my personal experiences with spirits in waking life and in dreams. I share what it was like as a child and budding witch to experience visits from loved ones who had passed on and visits from other spirits who needed support or simply wanted to communicate. I talk about my some of my ancestry and the connections I have with the magick and power of these cultures. A few weekends ago I went on retreat, and for the first time in 14 months I took a break from home life. I worked on site at the home of Rebecca T Dickson (Prominent mindset and business coach) and her herd of four horses. Every day we spent time with the horses and each of us worked through some personal challenges and blocks. Working with horses in this way is incredibly profound and what comes up in particular for you is surprising, even shocking and enlightening. The kind of emotional releases I have experienced when working with horses has absolutely been the most therapeutic experiences of my life. In this episode I speak with Fearn Lickfield, owner and director of the Green Mountain Druid Order and School. The Green Mountain Druid Order (the GMDO) was created by Ivan McBeth and Fearn Lickfield and became active in the spring of 2006 when the first 3-year Druid Training started. Since then the Green Mountain Druid Training has started eight new trainings, with a break in 2011. The GMDO is based on 70 acres of land in Worcester, Vermont, called Dreamland, which consists of forest, ledge, meadow, a swimming pond, and amazing views. Facilities include a ceremonial space with a central fire pit, surrounded by a stone circle. I am so happy to share EMDR with you all after my first session with Sharon at a time when I was in dire need of support.
