Could the reason you feel stuck in motherhood or business be because you're ignoring one of the most powerful parts of your body? In this episode, I sit down with Tami Lynn Kent, founder of Holistic Pelvic Care and author of Wild Feminine, Wild Mothering, and Wild Creative. Tami is an international teacher, TEDx speaker, and a mother of three sons. She shares her journey from being a women's health physical therapist to pioneering a body of work that integrates the physical, energetic, and creative aspects of the female body. Tami dives into the importance of reconnecting with our pelvic bowl as a source of wisdom, creativity, and healing, especially as mothers and entrepreneurs. She highlights how Western culture has disconnected women from their innate power and how reclaiming this connection can transform not only our health but also our creative and mothering journeys. This conversation is a powerful reminder that our bodies are not just vessels for birthing life but sources of deep wisdom and creative force. Tune in to hear: How our pelvic bowl holds both our trauma and our medicine—and how to access its wisdom. Why reconnecting with your womb space is essential for creativity, motherhood, and self-healing. How to shift from a depletive, martyr model of motherhood to one rooted in receiving and replenishment. The link between our creative energy and our pelvic bowl—and how to harness it for business and life. How tapping into the “Great Mother” energy can hold and sustain us as we navigate motherhood. It is a real pleasure to have an episode talking about pleasure and pelvic bowl health. Today's conversation is with Miranda Cheng, Holistic Pelvic Care practitioner and Founder of We the Femme. We talk about the importance of caring for your pelvic floor and new, maybe less traditional ways to do so. What Miranda is doing is really game-changing in the pelvic care industry. I am predicting this type of holistic health care is something that is going to blow up, especially for those pre and postnatal or vulva owners who are experiencing any challenges when it comes to anything that has to do with our cycles, uterus, all the things, which I guess we all experience. In the episode, we talk about what a session with her is like, which can or cannot include an intravaginal massage which is exactly what it sounds like, she gives some tips for you at home for you to show a little bit more love to your pelvis. She even ends with a Pelvic bowl meditation. This is a pretty eye opening conversation. We are joined by the fabulous Andrea Clarke, an intuitive healer, who weaves together holistic pelvic care, feminine embodiment, womb awakening and energy medicine. She talks about the sacred connection with the body, and the feminine essence within and that through deep womb connection and remembrance we can tap into our innate wisdom and creativity, allowing womb owners to empower themselves to embrace our roles of co-creation, feminine leadership and soul expression.Andrea is one of the few qualified practitioners in Holistic Pelvic Care™, an intra-vaginal treatment, which is based on the work of Tami Lynn Kent, author of the book Wild Feminine. She explains that there is great power in having a two-way conversation with the womb and other body parts, and asking: ‘What are you holding?' and ‘What do you need?' We were lucky enough to experience this at the end of this episode as Andrea beautifully holds the space for us to journey into our own wombs, in a nurturing meditation which you can join in with as you listen.If you would like to work with Andrea or find out more about her amazing work with the womb-space, you can connect with her on Instagram: @root.medicine, or via her website: www.rootmedicine.co.uk. When I first dreamed into the Menstruality Podcast, my guest today was one of the first people I knew I wanted to interview, and it's taken a while, but boy, is it worth the wait!Tami Lynn Kent is the author of Wild Feminine and the creator of Holistic Pelvic Care, and I've been lucky to study with her several times over the past decade - the results have been transformative for me. Today's far-reaching conversation explores the power and medicine we hold in our pelvic bowls and how we can resource ourselves as we 'work on the frontlines of the feminine'.We explore:What could become possible if we continued the ancient indigenous practice of listening to the menstrual dreamers in our communities, as guides. Why Tami came to be known as the Vagina Whisperer, and the shame that shifts when we are deeply honoured in this part of our bodies. The funny, and deeply beautiful thing that happened when Tami taught her sons about the power of menstruation. ---Receive our free video training: Love Your Cycle, Discover the Power of Menstrual Cycle Awareness to Revolutionise Your Life - www.redschool.net/love---The Menstruality Podcast is hosted by Red School. From alcohol and meaningless sex, to talk therapy, dance therapy, jade eggs, energy healings, hitting a giant foam block with a baseball bat, screaming into a pillow, and everything in between. Though each time she removed a layer of the hurt, she always felt like there was something she couldn't reach physically. Then she discovered Holistic Pelvic Care, and her world opened. She was finally able to de-armour and heal and for the first time, she was able to release it from the physical body. Sydneys mission is to shed the stigma around the female lived experience through awareness, education, and holistic healing. Sydney shares with us the power of holistic pelvic care and the value of de-armoring ourselves. How society teaches us that our female bodies are dangerous and dirty yet as women of age we are expected to be empowered, godesses! We discuss the effects this has on fertility and how we can heal our relationship with our body - end the war with our physical self and teach our daughters to the same. We talk about: The journey to healing from sexual trauma Pelvic care, how it can help and what treatment looks like The fertility path Myofascial release, yoni massage and yoni eggs Starting the conversation with your daughters Sydney Zwicker - https://zwickerhealingarts.com Yoni Egg course - https://zwickerhealingarts.com/yoni-egg-online-course Lois Bickerton, Womankind Health (based in Poole, Dorset) - https://www.womankindhealth.co.uk

Yoni is Sanskrit for “vulva” or “sacred space.” As estheticians, we are well versed in and comfortably exposed to female anatomy from an outside, looking “at” perspective. With professionals adding yoni steam treatments and retailing yoni eggs in their practices, maybe it’s time to understand not only how to properly groom lady gardens, but also the ancient roots of yoni health and how esthetic practitioners can effectively incorporate these additional services and retail opportunities. From fad to function, this episode of ASCP Esty Talk dives into yonis and yoni eggs and provides insight into how to incorporate these protocols and products into your esthetic practice responsibly. Through the experience, it became crystal clear how important it is to tend to the birthing container as a sacred and intentional space. She realized through the painful sequence of events that unfolded when these elements were not present at her daughter's birth, that these subtle yet important aspects may impact whether a mother or her child will incur trauma.The experience and her subsequent journey of healing and integration, lit a fire in Katie to be a champion for a paradigm shift around the reclamation of the sacredness of birthing. This was a catalyst for much of the transformational work Katie now shares in empowering and supporting other mothers.She works with women one on one, in groups via her online course “Reclaim Your Birth”, and throughout the year in live circle journeys.You can connect with Katie @ www.innerwisdommotherhood.com and on IG @innerwisdommotherhood.You can connect with Angie @ www.angieschaffer.com and on IG @angielynnschaffer.

Painful periods, infertility, endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids, polyps, prolapse, incontinence, menopause, laparoscopic surgery, LEAP procedures. Any of these sound way too familiar? Women's health is truly in an epidemic with the amount of dis-eases and imbalances experienced daily both on an acute and chronic level. Could it all just be a symptom of the disconnected way our society lives? A powerful discussion with Carly Beaudry, as a women's health advocate, leader, and practitioner, she has over 15 years of body work experience within Structural Integration, Holistic Pelvic Care™, + Arvigo Therapy™. Carly is also a Full-Spectrum Doula, and a radical humanitarian - our world could use more people like this woman. With the deep seeded belief that the outcome of women's health as a whole resides in the health and resiliency of the pelvic bowl, Carly's work has transformed into a deeper calling to empower and educate people, especially women, about their bodies. In this podcast we discuss the importance of balance and alignment of a women's sexual organs, the history of women's health advocacy before and as a result of colonization, the affects of generational trauma along with ancestral healing, commercial products polluting our bodies, ways to connect back to the land, the birthing process, the fourth trimester, and most importantly, share crucial tools so that we may begin to reconnect to our female bodies, in this fast paced, often comparison led society. Speaking with and learning from Carly for this hour was an honour and privilege. It is our hope that you find this podcast thought provoking, empowering, and exactly what our society needs to hear right now - just as we do.
Hey beautiful beings, thank you for listening to another Daydreaming Wolves episode, you are so appreciated! In this interview I spoke to Marissa of Cyclical Body about body fluency, cyclical self-care and embodiment - as you know all things I am curiously exploring at the moment. I am working with Marissa and am in her membership program, so it feels really exciting to share just a few of the things I am learning from her with you today. Here is some of what we talked about: - Living in deeper harmony with our bodies - Our menstrual cycles as teachers - Finding more inclusive, authentic and open language around our bodies - Learning to really listen and following our stories - Shifting out of seeing our bodies as enemies - Finding gateways of embodied exploration Here is what Marissa says about her work: I offer menstrual cycle education and holistic womb wellness guidance from an earth & body based perspective. My entrance into this work comes through birth work, studying with Whapio of the Matrona and Rachelle Garcia Seliga of Innate Traditions Postpartum. I was led to this path particularly through the ancestral elements of womb work, and at some point fell in love with the menstrual cycle and it’s been my teacher ever since. In the last year I have deepened into pelvic work through studying Holistic Pelvic Care with Tami Kent. I’m endlessly amazed by the wisdom of our bodies and the creative resilience moving through us. I am deeply informed by all the plant friends that have graciously found me on my path, as well as the territories that i’ve been held by – san diego, occupied kumeyaay land and recently lyons, colorado, occupied ute land. You can learn more about her here: https://cyclicalbody.com/ And this is her instagram: https://www.instagram.com/cyclicalbody/ :: About me and the Daydreaming Wolves podcast :: My name is Yarrow - I am a queer writer, body worker, web designer and comforter. My podcast and the community I’ve built around it is meant to support soft folks in reclaiming embodiment, creative expression, a connection to nature and everyday magic. On Daydreaming Wolves you’ll find a mix of deep dive conversations with beautiful people who are exploring things that feel good and solo episodes in which I am sharing how to guides and magical food for thought with you. I enjoy bringing people together into a community that loves to play with plants, writes together and creates everyday rituals to make life feel more beautiful. My program, Embodied Magic is an affordable and well-curated monthly course and community. It celebrates weirdness and explores ways in which self-care can help us reclaim joyful and sustainable forms of resistance. It's available to all Patrons and you can learn more here: http://www.daydreamingwolves.com/wild-embodiment/ I am not on social media anymore because I want to focus on creating indy media like my podcasts, compare myself less often and spent little time on my phone. This means I have more energy to nurture my communities and make cool things for you! If you’d like to stay in touch you can sign up for my newsletter over here: http://www.daydreamingwolves.com/embodied-magic/ – I am usually sending them once or twice a month when I have new episodes, resources or interesting stories to share. You will also get my free mini course on embodied magic. I also run a web design, tech support and small business mentoring studio over here: yarrowdigital.com/
Janelle Gullan from The Wild Orange Tree is an occupational therapist with a strong interest in women’s health and the ways we experience feminine rites of passage. Her passion is in nurturing and empowering women to listen to their own body so they can navigate conception, pregnancy, birth and ongoing mothering experiences with self-love, confidence and vitality. Janelle believes that our internal cycles and rhythms are a potent road map for these transitions; and the knowledge we have about, and the way we connect to, our pelvic space is another powerful tool for guiding us on our mothering journey. Our body, mind and spirit cannot be separated from each other and the challenges that arise through rite of passage need a holistic approach if we are to find healing and strength for our pelvic, menstrual and emotional wellbeing. Also a practitioner of the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy®, Holistic Pelvic Care™ and Holistic Pelvic Energy™ training with Tami Kent. Pregnancy and postpartum body work training with Lynn Schulte at the Institute of Birth Healing We discuss: - Menstrual cycle awareness - Female physiology, health and wellness - Therapies for healing and balance of the reproductive organs and whole body wellness - Postpartum care and healing for the body - Postpartum care culture - The cycles and seasons of life - Sexuality, intimacy and pleasure with self and partner - Developing self care practices You can find out more about Janelle and these topics at The Wild Orange Tree: Website Instagram Facebook The contents of this podcast do not constitute medical or professional advice, do not reflect the opinions of this business, any of its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, promotional sponsors, or advertising agencies, and do not create any type of patient-physician relationship or other professional relationship between the audience and presenters. In this episode, you'll learn: What exactly is Holistic Pelvic Care and why you should consider it as part of your self-care plan The importance of connecting to your wild feminine landscape, both energetically and physically Why the vagina should be as normal a body part as your ear or eyes and not a dirty part of your female anatomy More about the shame and trauma we hold in our pelvic bowl and some ways to access and release it The sacredness we hold as females in our pelvic center {e.g. root and sacral chakras}
Alisha is a Feminine Embodiment Coach, Holistic Pelvic Care Practitioner & Yoga Teacher. She guides women home to their feminine power through the practice of embracing their menstrual cycles so they can reclaim their radiance & Feminine Power.
IN THIS EPISODE, WE DISCUSS: How her body of work was born. The body has it's own intelligence. Holistic Pelvic Care is like Feng Shui for the pelvic bowl. Shifting the alignment to increase energy flow. How she integrated energy work into her more mechanical/symptom-based training Western Medicine has not had language for energy/chi. Energy work gets more to the root and is more gentle, hence more effective, and helps with trauma. (This was missing in both of our training systems.) We invite more practitioners to expand the box they were trained in! How she has balance motherhood and busy practice, and how challenging that can be when children are so bonded to the physical body. Why women's health bodywork has been so unknown. How we inherit and embody the gifts and wounds of our lineage, how the body keeps a record, and how to access the gifts and potentials inside our family wounds. Working with ancestor energy. "Stay open. Be respectful. Stay out of your ego. Get to work." The shut down and wounding feminine from the patriarchy exists in EVERYONE She defines feminine as the sacred ability to receive -- this is equally stripped away in all genders and sexes. Repairing this wound creates whole new patterns in the masculine. The work our time is to repair the feminine and heal our masculine forms. We talked about what this looks like. Our current wounded masculine systems behave like cancer. Integrating the feminine and restoring the sacred is the key to healing. Special Guest: Tami Lynn Kent, MSTP.
