A lot of people are shocked to learn that I have been diagnosed with social anxiety disorder. It is a very real and debilitating mental health disorder that impacts several areas of my life. In this episode I talk about my whole history with it. From where it all began to where it stands now and how I deal with it. I hope if you struggle with it too, that you will find some comfort in knowing that you are not alone on this journey. We can be great teachers and struggle with this disorder. My first year of teaching was a nightmare. I didn't get along with my boss, coworkers and my students had poor behavior.
