Finding your new normal by living more authentically and with your fullest potential with Susan: Reasons why we may play small and not live to our fullest potential. Identifying when you are keeping yourself small and hiding out. Living beyond the fear of criticism and judgment. Key Takeaways: Keeping yourself small does not serve yourself or those who are waiting for you. COVID-19 is giving us a rare, valuable opportunity to reevaluate ourselves, our lives, and our potential future. You have gifts and talents to share and an impact to make. People are out there waiting for you to show up because you matter. "If you know that there’s a part of you that could share, more authentically, who you are with the people that you are in contact with and you’re holding back...you’ve got to ask yourself why. What is it you’re really afraid of or worried about? What part of you is concerned that they won’t accept you?." —  Susan Dascenzi Connect with Susan Dascenzi: Email: kickyourbuts2020@gmail.com Twitter: @butskick Facebook: Kick Your Buts Instagram: @kickyourbuts Website: KickYourButs.com Book: See Books Here! Answering the question about the future from a human perspective or from your own knowingness. Discerning and following your heart’s voice from the voice in your head. Key Takeaways: Each and every person on the planet has unique gifts and talents to share and an impact to make. It’s important to ask yourself these questions during this time of shift: What do you want? What really makes you happy? What is important to you? Where do you want to go from here? Who do you want to be? We are all in this together, but we aren’t in the same boat...everyone’s experiences may be very different. There are resources out there if you are struggling with anything, but you do have to reach out. It is perfectly okay to feel like it’s not okay! Breaking free from our own limitations with Susan and Marian: Seeing the positivity even in negative or challenging times. Discussing the emotions and blocks from past traumas. Breaking free and stepping back into a place of trust and love. Overcoming your limitations. Key Takeaways: Without opening up and talking about your experiences, you will not be healed. Name 10 things that drain your energy right now and see what needs to go. List 10 things that fill your energy and see what you need more of. Everybody is different, there is no cookie cutter solution for everyone. But, by identifying the pain point, you will be able to find a solution. It doesn’t all work all the time. You have to keep going. "I knew I needed to make an exodus, that there was going to be a separation. And there were a lot of things that had to happen in order for that separation to happen." —  Marian McSpadden About Marian McSpadden: Marian and her husband own a multimillion-dollar business. She was born in a secluded culture of a horse-drawn buggy religious organization. When she was 34 years old, she escaped the cult, went back to school and obtained her GED, and ultimately graduated with a bachelor’s degree. Marian helps people get through the disappointment you never expect to happen. You never expect to be trapped in a relationship, culture, business, financial situation, job, emotion, religion, grief, health crisis or circumstance. Whether it happens to you, or you make the choice yourself, the pain feels the same. The ability to go to bed happy and wake up energized is not free...it takes working through it all. Navigating our spiritual and religious connections when you cannot gather in person with Susan and John: The transition from standard church services to connecting at home with daily Mass and how this sheltering-at-home affects us emotionally and spiritually. Connecting spiritually while we cannot gather in person. Managing the feelings of guilt and other negative emotions during this time. Key Takeaways: The energy is different when you are not able to connect in person. Even something as simple as a hug is very different when you’re doing it virtually. It’s not the same and it’s the same feeling with watching Mass at home rather than being there in person. Close your eyes and envision yourself in your place of worship, or just go within, and embrace those feelings, connect to your deepest heart and soul, and feel that connectedness. Allow yourself the permission to feel and think what you feel and think, but don’t disconnect with those you love and care about. "God has given us a wakeup call. God has given our country, our planet, a wakeup call. We need to change things." —  John Hopkins About John Hopkins: As a young man, John’s love for his country guided him to serve and he spent 22 years as a Civil Engineer for the United States Air Force as an active duty member. Even after his formal retirement from the Air Force approximately 15 years ago, he returned to his squadron (in the same job capacity) as a civilian. Having grown up with progressive parents, who were inter-religiously married and exposed him to two different faiths and gave him the freedom to forge his own path, John’s heart and soul guided him to Catholicism approximately 30 years ago. His deep faith and involvement in the Catholic community has led him to feel that this community is an extension to his family. His wife of 29 years, who is also very devoted to the same faith, his two sons and two grandchildren, and his siblings all understand the important role faith plays in his daily life. As a dedicated father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and religious leader in his community, John’s life has been about service from a place of Love, Compassion, Connection, and Unity. The nature of feminine consciousness and the power of compassion with Susan and Misa: Culturally, we have a strange relationship with abuse and how it affects us as individuals on a spiritual level. What feminine consciousness is and what it is not. The relationship between the masculine and the feminine and finding the balance. The power of finding compassion, finding your circle, and moving through healing. Key Takeaways: We are living in a world full of yang energy - masculine, fiery, active - we need to find the feminine consciousness, the yin - stillness, compassion, willingness to listen - the womb of creation. If your anxiety and your stress levels are down, you’ll be able to quiet your mind. And when your mind is quiet, you can enter the stillness that is the domain of feminine consciousness. In this space, you will make better, more hopeful, and creative decisions, and your intuition and overall creativity will go up. The solutions already exist. All solutions, all possibilities, already exist and are already there regardless of what we’re talking about. "Metaphysically, spiritually...after death, there is always birth. Look outside, it's springtime in the Northern Hemisphere and right after death, there is birth; this is part of the way it works on this planet. So, something is dying. The question is: What is dying, in addition to our beloved people who are leaving, what, in consciousness, is dying? And what I would suggest is that it is our tendency to disempower ourselves and others, and we are seeing the reflection of that through a virus we call COVID-19." —  Misa Hopkins About Misa Hopkins: Misa Hopkins has been a pioneer in the field of Feminine Consciousness for over 20 years and is a 5-times best-selling author. She has made multiple television appearances and has spoken at events with such luminaries as Deepak Chopra, Dr. Bruce Lipton, Dr. Larry Dossey, and Arielle Ford. Misa's powerful mystical initiations in both feminine and masculine sacred energies inspire her to further personal and planetary healing through balanced consciousness. Embracing and becoming comfortable in your relationship with failure with Susan and Miha: What was missing from his four companies that all crashed overnight. What happened after having the ah-ha moment. Establishing a healthy relationship with failure. Key Takeaways: You have to take ownership of your actions and the consequences, good and bad. Somebody needs to start for people to open up. By sharing your story and your journey, it helps others to open up as well. You need a foundation internally, as a human and within your life. It will allow you to fail forward and have a healthy relationship with failure.   "It was at that time as I was exploring a lot - who I am, what I stand for, and so on - when I realized that wearing all those masks and doing all those things, emptied me on the inside. That material stuff, that was all on the outside; my life was super empty on the inside." —  Miha Matlievski   About Miha Matlievski: In 2009, Miha had four companies go bankrupt overnight: landing him $5 million in debt. Contemplating suicide to escape the pain as he looked over the balcony, he had a life-saving AH-HA moment. He realized that failure was a normal part of life: admitting to himself that he failed and to recognize he needed to stop blaming others and circumstances. This was the turning point when he made a choice to learn from his failures so he could do things differently in the future and to help others. Since then, he has climbed back to create a business and scaling it to 8 figures in less than a year. Finding the connection within you to practice your own radical forgiveness with Susan and Carmen: What radical forgiveness is and how it differentiates itself from traditional forgiveness. How Carmen got involved with radical forgiveness. Connecting and finding that place within to find where you can reframe your story, let go, and forgive. Key Takeaways: You are responsible for your own life. Don’t allow other people to control your life by not forgiving. You choose your own story. Forgiveness is changing the perception of that story. Radical Forgiveness comes from practice and being outside your comfort zone initially, so, every day, do something different and "outside the box" of your usual. The Four Steps of Forgiveness to Change the Energy of the Moment: Look what I have created. I notice my judgment and feelings and love myself anyway. I’m willing to see the perfection in the situation. I choose peace. "Everything that happens, happens for a reason, and it’s for a good reason. What NLP (neuro-linguistic programing) and hypnosis are and how they factor into addiction treatment. Self-regulatory addictions verses avoidance addictions. Key Takeaways: NLP works with the operating system in the brain and by changing the process, allowing the change to happen from the inside out. The 12-step program is great…for some people. Addiction manifests differently and, like any other illness, responds to different treatments for different people. Think of social media and the internet like food – as a tool to survive. We can’t avoid it in today’s age, but it is a tool, not a free for all. "An experience is just an experience. It’s how we label that experience that means everything. Do those things that you have on your bucket list. Many of us are so quick to feel a pain or to feel a tingling or to feel some particular sensation and automatically jump to the conclusion that it's something negative, but that’s not always the case – check in with yourself and see if it is your higher power giving you information. The more you grow spiritually, the more you will be able to tap into the energies around you. “Your intuition is what develops as you grow spiritually - your intuition, the five different intuitive abilities, will grow and you'll hone them just like we have our five senses of seeing, smelling, touching, tasting, and hearing." —  Kim Chiarello – The Connector Connect with Kim Chiarello: Twitter: @BeTheChange303 Medium: Be The Change Now Website: BeTheChangeNow.com Youtube: Be The Change Now FREE 20-Minute Discovery Session Connect with Susan Dascenzi: Email: kickyourbuts2020@gmail.com Twitter: @butskick Facebook: Kick Your Buts Instagram: @kickyourbuts Website: KickYourButs.com Book: See Books Here! The past is gone, the future isn’t here yet, and we have this gift called the present." —  Audrey Weidman About Audrey Weidman: In October of 2016, Audrey experienced a life-changing event. She had a heart attack. This flew in the face of her identity as the “model” of healthy living. An angiogram showed that she had no plaque build-up in her arteries – which was a reflection of her healthy lifestyle, but that she had developed a tear in her coronary artery called a SCAD. After some reflection, Audrey realized she brought the heart attack upon herself. She knew she took care of her body, but didn't take care of her mind and the thoughts she was thinking and realized that the self-talk and stress she put on herself caused the heart attack. This made her realize, without a doubt, that thoughts become things. Audrey became a Certified Stress Mastery educator with the American Institute of Stress and is a healthy lifestyle advocate working with women who have cardiovascular disease so they can create a balance of mind and body. Heart disease is the #1 killer of women in the Western World and is largely preventable as prevention and recovery start with a healthy mindset.
