Så altså:Lars Muhl is a well-known Danish author, mystic, musician, and for decades an eager student of various spiritual traditions. There is a lot to tell about him and his life story, but in this episode we mainly speak about THE LIGHT WITHIN A HUMAN HEART - subtitled The book of ASAPH which in fact is one of my personal favourite books. However, in addition to being a book title, the light within a human heart, refers to the divinity available wihin each and everyone of us - if we are willing to let go of what we can call our ego, or more specifically; the repetitive thoughts, emotional wounds, behavioural patterns and programmings that separate us from who we really are - in our essence. In this conversation we talk about how the book came about, and how it was to write it, but more so about some of the phenomena Lars writes about in this book such as the golden substance, unconditional love vs conditional generosity, the ego vs the inner voice, we talk about how to take responsibility for oneself through gradually more presence in one's own life, and integrated in this; the Aramaic language and about some of the core messages that Jeshua brought forward, as well as mysteries of the crucifixion and the resurrection - as perceived by Lars.Book title: The light within a human heart. A little girl was sitting in her first Good Friday service, and the epic story of the Crucifixion was beautifully read. She heard about Judas' betrayal of Jesus. She heard about Peter's denial. She listened to Pilate's cross-examination of Jesus. She pictured the crown of thorns and felt the beating…
Exodus 34 tells us that when Moses descended from the mountain, his face shone with radiance. Our lives should reflect that same glow. When others see you, do they notice the light within you? Here's our album we mentioned in the podcast: FRLS271 Worship Live, Vol.1

Hello and happy Thursday! There's a lot of bad in the world. There has always been bad in the world. So how do we navigate our lives, our Pro You paths, in lieu of the bad? Tom has mentioned the donut and the hole before - "You cannot get a donut without a hole" - no one gets a life without suffering. So there's the "Storm" and the "Light": that which is created by your effort. What Is in your control is what serves you, and what will help you evolve and become the best version of yourself; therefore allowing the best potential to stay more mindful of the donut and not the hole. The light within the storm. Enjoy, and as always, thanks for listening! Take a deep breath slowly in through your nose. Hold it. Release that breath slowly out of your mouth. What's one thing you are grateful for? The Pro You Podcast is grateful you are here - taking the first step on your path to deeming yourself worthy. Worthy of being the best version of yourself you can possibly be. In this episode of Embodied, I spoke with Nancy—an innovative educator, spiritual guide, and local shaman in Nova Scotia. Nancy's work explores the embodiment of consciousness through light, movement, sound, and colour. Together, we explored what it means to trust ourselves, navigate personal chaos, and tap into ancestral wisdom. Nancy describes her role as a shaman beautifully: "To me, a shaman goes into other realities and brings back guidance and wisdom beyond my own ego that I couldn't imagine with just my personality. But it also involves serving a community as well." Her ability to tap into unseen dimensions and share their wisdom is a profound gift—one that has shaped my journey. The power of trusting ourselves In our hour-long conversation, we explored: How shamanism brings back wisdom for the collective. The role of vulnerability in awakening our deepest truths. Why personal chaos is an existential opportunity. How trusting our intuition connects us to unseen guidance. Nancy reminds us that trust is the foundation of spiritual growth. It's about surrendering to the unknown, knowing that each challenge holds an opportunity for deeper awareness.

A book I've often returned to in my morning Quiet Times is Thomas R. Kelly's A Testament of Devotion. Kelly was a Quaker and a mystic. His book centers on what the Big Book calls “the Great Reality within.” Since it's a Greater Reality we can never understand it – but we can experience it – and mystics like Kelly come as close as humans can come to describing what such an experience - and still more – what such a relationship is like. In this episode Fr. Bill focuses on Kelly's first chapter: The Inner Light. It's a Light sure to illuminate the path of any spiritual seeker. A Testament of Devotion by Thomas R. Kelly Passage from The Light Within by Thomas R. Kelly: … Deep within us all there is an amazing inner sanctuary of the soul, a holy place, a Divine Center, a speaking Voice, to which we may continuously return. Eternity is at our hearts, pressing upon our time-torn lives, warming us with intimations of an astounding destiny, calling us home unto Itself. Yielding to these persuasions, gladly committing ourselves in body and soul, utterly and completely, to the Light Within, is the beginning of true life. It is a dynamic center, a creative Life that presses to birth within us. It is a Light Within which illumines the face of God and casts new shadows and new glories upon the face of men. It is a seed stirring to life if we do not choke it. It is the Shekinah of the soul, the Presence in the midst. Here is the Slumbering Christ, stirring to be awakened, to become the soul we clothe in earthly form and action. And He is within us all. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/fatherbillw/support
