Bell's height (6'5", 6'7" on listed programs) was an asset on the court, but a source of nerves outside of it. Accepting her body type was one of several hurdles Bell encountered during her time as a player, but she had plenty of highlights too. On the other side, Nora encountered a series of mental health battles and traumatic moments that chipped away at her morale, leading her to transfer schools several times as a junior and senior. If you're wondering about the title, Katelyn Diegnau doesn't play basketball for three different teams. The group of Minnesota cities near the southern border represent a co-op, a common sight in order to compete in the state's smallest class. Diegnau lives in a town of 70, and just about all of them cheered her on when she verbally committed to Augustana University in South Dakota. In this conversation, Katelyn highlights the difference between Class A basketball and AAU basketball, the sense of community in her hometown that led to a virtual bypass of capacity restrictions last winter, and the amusing "family feuds" that are usually resolved by athletic duels. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/tsbtelevision/support
