December 21st, 2024 - The Holy Angels played a huge role in setting the scene for the birth of Jesus. From the Annunciation, to the shepherds, to the miraculous star, to the dreams that Joseph had: It's like God tasked them to be the stage managers of the whole production. Their job is to turn our attention to Christ and we will look at how they do that on this episode of The Spirit World. Debbie and Adam also take listeners calls with stories of angel encounters and questions about what angels look like.

The Christmas Story is filled with angel encounters and dreams. It all seems so strange and distant, but is it, really? Does God still use holy angels and God-originated dreams with Christians today?

My house almost caught fire, and I had no idea of the danger until it was over, pieced together by burn marks on a wall and other clues around an old boiler system. I called a specialist to look at it, and he said bluntly: he's come to believe things happen for a reason, and our house is still standing for a reason. I always try to express gratitude to others and to God, but as we come into the holiday season I thought this story was especially worth bringing to you all. Faith Full is a Catholic podcast hosted by Tony Ganzer. In this short episode we hear from Fr. Robert Nixon, OSB, translator of St. Aloysius Gonzaga's Meditations on the Holy Angels. Plus an excerpt from St. Thérèse of Lisieux's autobiography "The Story of a Soul." In hindsight it's easy. But in day-to-day life, it's not. About a month ago I started to run my heating system before winter to make sure everything was working well. My house was built in the 1950s and part of the house has radiant floor heating. Essentially a gas-fired boiler heats up water that is sent through pipes under the floor. When it works, it works well! The boiler pilot light was out when I went to run my test, so I cleaned around the boiler and relit the light. The system kicked on, and for about two days it seemed to work well, until it didn't. I played with the thermostat trying to get the system back on but it didn't work. Around the same time, randomly, an electrical plug in my garage stopped working. It wasn't clear the problems were related…(foreshadowing). Ultimately I decided to call the heating repair company first to do a tune-up on the system and figure out what's wrong. It took just a minute to see the problem. One of the burners was off its rack, and old fire-proofing material had crumbled. Flames had been shooting out the back of the unit onto the wall, ultimately hitting the wiring harness to the thermostat. “I'm not sure why they wired it like that,” the technician told me. “But it's good they did.” The melted wiring tripped the breaker and shut down the boiler, cutting the flow of gas and stopping the fire. The malfunctioning outlet must've been on an adjacent circuit or something. It's still sinking in, just how fortunate we are that our home wasn't taken in a fire, and the way the system was built in the 1950s kept us safe. As Catholics, this brought a few things to mind for my wife and me: one about St. Thérèse of Lisieux and the other about angels. I've been given the gift of seeing a stone moved from my path: the fire threatened my home, the place that my family considers safe and secure. Even if the fire had started, we have smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers–all things that would've likely kept us physically safe, but still would've lost property. I hope that in my journeying toward Heaven that I can use the time, talents and experiences God has given me to show my gratitude. It's a gratitude that extends beyond just the holiday season, of course, and is rooted deeply in what makes me, me. I'm just thankful to get to keep going, with a home that's intact. This is the most important message I can send. If you wish to share in this work, kindly consider supporting me: https://www.givesendgo.com/berggren Yes, the Jews are the Antichrist. The Jews are the 666. Jews have been antichrist since their ancestors began murdering the prophets long ago. Jews murdered the Christ of God — who rose from the dead. Jews exactly fit the description of Antichrist in 1 John 2:22, 1 John 4:3 and 2 John 1:7-11. Pastors who great and welcome Jews share in the wicked work of the Antichrist. No, I”m not kidding. Jesus Christ made it clear that Jews are the devil's children and that Jews do the work of their father who is murders and lies in John 8:44 Jesus Christ made clear that Jews are liars and of the synagogue of Satan in Revelation 3:9 Jesus Christ made it clear that he rejected the Jews and will cause the Jews to bow down before the European Christian Church. Revelation 3:9 “I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.” Revelation 3:9 Jews do Satan's work to steal, kill, lie, destort, defraud and murder. Shame on preachers and Christians who support the antichrist. Wake up, Church. We have been deceived and we have been cowardly. The name of Jews was left as a curse and God's people are called by a new name, Christian. Never equate “Jew” with Israel. Jews who call themselves Israel are no better that the tranny males who call themselves womean — they are frauds, liars, and imposters. “Those who call themselvs Jews but are not but are the synagogue of Satan.” As soon as Saul converted to become Christian, he immediately begin confounding the Jews. Stephen immediately accused the Jews of murdering the Prophets and Jesus Christ. Peters first sermons identified thew rebellious sons of Israel as the murderers of the Righteous One: Acts 3:14 Yet we live in an age even the elect have been deceived. But what do our Pastors do? They grovel before the Biblical Antichrist. David never had a star — the symbol of the Jews is the Star of Rompha The Jews explicitly rejected Christ as king and asked for a murderer be granted them. Judas Iscariot sided with the Jew. The destiny of Jews is Luke 19:27. We Christians are willfully guilty of cowardice before the antichrist. For those who cannot make this stand, Christ will disown us in the presence of the Holy Angels. Fritz Berggren, PhD bloodandfaith.com

Friends of the Rosary, Today, October 2, the Catholic Church celebrates the Memorial of the Holy Guardian Angels. Angels are messengers of God. These spirits, non-corporeal beings, are sent by the Father to be our protectors and our guides. Each person on earth has a guardian angel who watches over him and helps him attain salvation. This is a truth of our faith. Angelic guardianship begins at the moment of birth when the soul is infused at conception. His protection continues throughout our earthly pilgrimage by assisting us in work and study, helping us in temptation, and protecting us from physical danger. Beyond our life, our guardian angel accompanies our soul to purgatory or heaven and becomes our coheir in the heavenly kingdom. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states, “From our birth until our death, man is surrounded by the protection and intercession of angels, particularly our guardian angel: Beside each believer stands an angel as protector and shepherd leading him to life (336).” Today's feast appeared in Spain during the sixteenth century. Saints like Pope John XXIII, Josemaria Escriva, and Padre Pio had a great devotion to their guardian angel. As these saints, we love God's angels and develop a greater devotion to our guardian angel. And by the way, the practice of assigning names to the Holy Angels should be discouraged, except in the cases of Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, whose names are contained in the Holy Scripture. Ave Maria!Jesus, I Trust In You!Come, Holy Spirit, come! To Jesus through Mary! + Mikel Amigot | RosaryNetwork.com, New York

Justice for Reyzl: Standing up to LGBTQ Workplace Discrimination Host: Noah Parrish, Gender Justice Communications Director Guest: Brittany Stewart, Gender Justice Senior Staff Attorney In August 2024, Gender Justice and co-counsel Wanta Thome PLC filed a discrimination lawsuit against the Academy of Holy Angels, a Catholic high school in Richfield, Minnesota, and the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis after they effectively terminated Reyzl Grace, a staff librarian, when she came out as trans. Reyzl Grace's story highlights the importance of ensuring that no employer in Minnesota has carte blanche to discriminate against employees simply because of who they are. We believe the school violated the Minnesota Human Rights Act (MHRA) by refusing to allow Grace, who served as a secular librarian at the school, to reapply for her position on the basis of gender identity and sex. While the MHRA does permit limited exemptions on religious grounds, the Legislature never intended for these exemptions to apply to secular employees. In this episode of The Gender Justice Brief, Reyzl Grace's attorney, Brittany Stewart, outlines our case seeking justice for her: Background and context on Reyzl Grace's case Grace v. Father Genard's presentation focuses on the theme that God cannot be mocked, as emphasized in Galatians 6:7. He discusses how some individuals may appear religious in public but engage in questionable behavior privately, pointing out the need for genuine faith and adherence to both religious and cultural values. Father Genard underscores the accountability of words and actions in the Day of Judgment and encourages sincere repentance. The central message is that it's impossible to deceive God. Bible verses: Galatians 3:28-29 "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free-born, neither male nor female; for you are all one in Jesus the (Christ), and if you are the Messiah's, then you are the seed of Abraham, and heirs by the promise." Isaiah 5:20-23. call evil good and good evil... put light for darkness and darkness for light... put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! James 1:22 be a doer of the word (a living example) and not only a hearer (promoters), and do not deceive yourselves. Proverbs 15:3 "The eyes of Lord God are in every place, gazing on the good and on the evil." Matthew 16:27 "For The Son of Man is going to come in the glory of his Father with the Holy Angels and then he will repay each man according to his works." 2 Cor 5:10 "For we are all going to stand before the judgment seat of The Messiah, that each man will be paid in his body anything that was done by him, whether of good or of evil." Matthew 12:36-37 "For I say to you that every idle (empty, N meaningless, derogative, rude, filthy, lying, blaspheming, thersitical) word that people will speak, they will give an answer for it in the Day of Judgment. For by your words, you will be justified and by your words you will be condemned." col 4:6 "Your words should always be with grace, as if seasoned with salt, and be aware how it is appropriate for you to answer each man. " 1 Cor 11:29 For whoever eats and drinks from it being unworthy, eats and drinks a guilty verdict into his soul for not distinguishing the body of the lord. Today's Topics: 1) Gospel - MT 10:16-23 - Jesus said to His Apostles: “Behold, I am sending you like sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and simple as doves. But beware of men, for they will hand you over to courts and scourge you in their synagogues, and you will be led before governors and kings for my sake as a witness before them and the pagans. When they hand you over, do not worry about how you are to speak or what you are to say. You will be given at that moment what you are to say. For it will not be you who speak but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. Brother will hand over brother to death, and the father his child; children will rise up against parents and have them put to death. You will be hated by all because of my name, but whoever endures to the end will be saved. When they persecute you in one town, flee to another. Amen, I say to you, you will not finish the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.” Bishop Sheen quote of the day 2, 3) Interview with Father Robert Nixon, OSB, Director, New Norcia Institute for Benedictine Studies on “Meditations on the Holy Angels” by Saint Aloysius Gonzaga (TAN Publishers) 4) Is there a specific Bible that Catholics should use? https://www.osvnews.com/2022/05/31/is-there-a-specific-bible-that-catholics-should-use/

When my fourteen year-old self is shocked to find out his mom is expecting a baby, the proud and protective older brother is astonished to discover that his mischievous, smart and athletic little sister is the one to give him the unimaginable gift of family. I learned about A tribute to a sister when I found out my mom was having another child. My sister, Sticks, was born eight pounds, eight ounces, and was walking at eight months old. She was smart, athletic, and witty. Growing up, I taught her things like her ABCs and her address, and she was enrolled in preschool and Holy Angels. She played basketball and was even interviewed on the news. I took her to the park with me and she even played against Derek Rose in grammar school. I was proud of her when she said I was her favorite player. Present day, she is a good friend, mom, leader, and loyal sister.
