Schon die Namen sind eine Geschichte für sich – Enrico klingt italienisch, ist es aber gar nicht (Mutter aus Spanien, Nachname ostpreußisch), und Winkelmann wandert irgendwo zwischen Sauerland und Hagen. Zwei Gründer, fifty-fifty, Good Cop und Bad Cop im täglichen Wechsel. Der Name trägt den „Pott" im Herzen, auf dem Teller aber findet ausdrücklich keine Ruhrpott-Reminiszenz statt: Hier meint Pott Mentalität, nicht Menü – schnörkellos, ehrlich, direkt.Im Gespräch: die Küche mitten im Gastraum (keine Wand, kein Versteck, kein Kühlhaus), das 5-Komponenten-Prinzip, das in einem überdrehten Dezember als Notbremse entstand und längst zum Stil wurde, und ein 6-Gänge-Menü, das heimlich aus zehn Servierungen besteht – Kaviar des Feldes und Robuchons Butter-Kartoffel-Püree mit noch mehr Butter inklusive. Dazu der Weg dahin: Enricos Lehrjahre zwischen einem Düsseldorfer Dönerladen und der Patisserie im Wasserturm, Lukas' zehn Jahre Bar, der gemeinsame Start im Restaurant „8" und zweieinhalb Jahre Suche nach genau diesem Souterrain mit offener Theke.Dann kam der Stern, mit dem keiner gerechnet hatte – beide um die 30, den Laden selbst abgerissen und wieder aufgebaut, ganz andere Sorgen. Dazu die schönste Stern-Geschichte überhaupt: einmal abmontiert, signiert, dem langjährigsten Mitarbeiter zum Abschied geschenkt. Meine heutige Gesprächspartnerin hat ihre berufliche Laufbahn im Handel begonnen. Sie absolvierte zunächst die Ausbildung zur Handelsfachwirtin am Bildungszentrum des Einzelhandels Springe gemeinsam mit der IHK Hannover und studierte später berufsbegleitend Betriebswirtschaft und Management an der SRH Fernhochschule. Sie hat sehr früh Verantwortung übertragen bekommen und angenommen. Mit Anfang 20 wurde sie Führungskraft bei Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf und übernahm dort über viele Jahre hinweg unterschiedlichste Rollen, von der Abteilungsleiterin über die Geschäftsleiter-Vertretung bis hin zur General Sales Managerin in mehreren großen Häusern in Deutschland. Eine Laufbahn, die sie direkt mit den Realitäten von Führung, wirtschaftlichem Druck, Personal- verantwortung und den Dynamiken großer Organisationen konfrontiert hat. Und irgendwann begann sie, genau diese Arbeitswelt kritisch zu hinterfragen, geprägt von ihren eigenen Erfahrungen als junge Führungskraft in einem großen Konzern. Genau daraus schöpft sie ihre Impulse und sie beschäftigt sich mit den Fragen, wie moderne Arbeit aussehen kann, was gute Führung ausmacht und warum so viele Menschen im Job zwischen Leistungsanspruch und Erschöpfung pendeln. Sie wirkt heute als Autorin, Speakerin und Content Creatorin zu Themen wie Leadership, Karriere, Sichtbarkeit und moderner Arbeit. Sie schreibt für Focus Online, spricht auf Konferenzen und erreicht mit ihren Inhalten auf LinkedIn viele Menschen, die sich fragen: Wie wollen wir eigentlich arbeiten? Und was macht Arbeit langfristig mit uns? Vor kurzem ist ihr Buch erschienen: „Jetzt bist du schlauer als dein Chef“. Darin geht es um wichtige Entwicklungen am Arbeitsplatz, mentale Gesundheit, KI, Karriere und die Frage, wie Arbeit wieder sinnvoller und menschlicher werden kann. Seit neun Jahren beschäftigen wir uns in diesem Podcast mit der Frage, wie Arbeit den Menschen stärkt, statt ihn zu schwächen. In mehr als 550 Episoden haben wir mit mehr als 700 Persönlichkeiten darüber gesprochen, was sich für sie verändert hat und was sich weiter ändern muss. From mountain biking and downhill skiing to scuba diving to getting his student's pilot license at 15, he's always had a sense of adventure, but dressage is where his heart lies. Having started dressage at 6 years old, Christian dedicated himself to the sport and had an illustrious junior career, which included competing at four FEI North American Youth Championships, winning junior team gold and individual silver in 2017, young rider team silver in 2018 and young rider team, individual and freestyle gold in 2021. He also won the Horseware Ireland/USEF Young Rider Dressage National Championship title at the 2021 U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions.Christian has been part of the U.S. Dressage Young Rider European Tour three times, winning team bronze at the Future Champions CDIY in Hagen, Germany, twice, first with Zeaball Diawind in 2021, then with Son of a Lady in 2023. Under the tutelage of his coach, Olympian Adrienne Lyle, he has competed at CHIO Aachen, finishing third in the young rider freestyle with Son of a Lady twice in 2022 and 2023. He and Son of a Lady were named to the U.S. Dressage Team for the 2023 Pan American Games, where they helped secure team gold.Christian's success didn't stop upon making it to the senior levels; in fact, he's just gotten more competitive. Before Heidi Humphries of Zen Elite Equestrian Center purchased Indian Rock for him to ride, the 23-year-old had never competed at Grand Prix, but with the 13-year-old stallion, he's been unbeatable. They've never lost a class and were champions in the Neue Schule/USEF Grand Prix Dressage National Championship at the 2025 U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions. In addition, he rode Fleau de Baian, who is also owned by Humphries, to the Adequan®/USEF Brentina Cup Dressage National Championship.He started the 2026 season with “Rocky” by winning the CDI-W in at the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida, qualifying them for this year's Zen Elite FEI Dressage World Cup™ Final in Fort Worth, Texas.
