The Fellows Bold organisation is map-spanning network of resources for the coordination of epic fantasy adventures. The Fellows Bold podcast is a cool guy and a dweeb playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends. In this second season each chapter will see the Fellows explore the stories from Wizards of the Coast book Ghosts of Saltmarsh.
Abandon ship! Who should take charge when both the captain and her first mate go overboard? How many more damn shapeshifters are going to show up? And, why is the frigate ship Jimibob being maliciously chased by a tide of wreckage? It's time to see if our brave Fellows have what it takes to survive the thrilling conclusion of their chaotic nautical adventure! The Fellows board the good ship Jimibob to escort the war galleon Amphisbaena and her precious cargo home to Whitewyrm. It's not all smooth sailing; once again their passage is blocked by a force of nature, and Captain Bethrynna (Tamsyn Jones) is forced to make some quick decisions to avoid any delay. But how is a captain supposed to focus on making decisions when their ship is being boarded by creatures of the sea and of the grave? And worse, how does a crew sail a ship that seems to have the very ocean holding it back?! We welcome back Afternoon Nap (played by co-host Abi), Bethrynna Koehlanna (Tamsyn), Orikalkon Melomel (Mihai), and Andrena Kulanekali (Rachel) for an important mission on the high seas. 'FGWAA' branch manager Harryl Staint, ever the toadie, is sending our heroes to a luxury holiday resort to wait for the arrival of a priceless artefact on behalf of esteemed noble (read: slime lord) and notable collector (read: likely thieving smuggler) Bad Ryan, which they must then escort home. Because apparently, the Fort-Glas Whitewyrm Adventuring Arm is his personal (and literal) shipping service now. Before they can enjoy the crystalline waters of Costa de la Última Felicidad, they have to get there - and there's a mother of a storm heading their way! We're back in the steamy lava tunnels of White Plume Mountain, our brave/foolish adventurers bringing you full-frontal nudity, a room full of butter, and a blossoming romance between two senior adventurers. BUT FIRST: our heroes must battle a great and terrifying mass of horror known now and forever more as THE SCUNGE! More from us: GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
It's hot hot hot in White Plume Mountain and it also happens to be damn hot at home as we sweat our way through recording this episode. The search for Keraptis continues with yet more puzzles and challenges. Lynhart loses his starter pokemon, Ada prepares a seafood skewer, and Miles bothers a horse (and their fellow party mem ers, but what's new). More from us: GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
For this episode, we're welcoming back our level 20 characters from the first season to undertake an important errand. Frequent guest players Adam Sillman and Saul Woods reprise their roles as chaotic cleric Lynhart HIllman and fearless fighter Ada Cortez, co-host Dani Peach brings back their weird wizard alter-ego Miles Sudrock, and co-host Abi returns to White Plume Mountain with a revamp and re-skin as our Dungeon Master. These Fellows may be seasoned veterans now but how can they break the news of Wally's death to Keraptis while said frenemy is tormenting them with traps and tricks? More from us: GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
While we wait for real life adventures to be completed and schedules to realign, Dungeon Master Dani Peach has rustled up an unusual side quest. In this episode of Test Quest we invite previous guest player Harry to join Tamsyn and Abi with a new totally randomised character (thanks fastcharacter.com). What can these mind-manacled masters of their own fortune hope to discover by venturing through the door marked "DYPLYMYCY YDVYNTYR DYRKNYSS"? And which is the easier path, fighting or riddles? It's time to find out with yet another strange and mysterious episode of TEST QUEST! More from us: GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
While we wait for real life adventures to be completed and schedules to realign, Dungeon Master Dani Peach has rustled up a mysterious side quest. In this episode of Test Quest we invite previous guest player Mihai to join Saul and Abi with a new totally randomised character (thanks fastcharacter.com). What can these mind-manacled masters of their own fortune hope to discover by venturing through the door marked "YTHLYTYCS WYTYR PYZZL"? And which is the deadlier foe, sharks or gravity? It's time to find out with another thrilling and confusing episode of TEST QUEST! More from us: GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
We are back after a short break - but our plans for the next chapter have been delayed. So, while we wait for real life adventures to be completed and schedules to realign, Dungeon Master Dani has rustled up a mysterious side quest. We invited a couple of our regular players back for a one-shot session with totally new, totally randomised characters (thanks fastcharacter.com) who have lost their memories and woken up in some kind of dystopian prison competition. Will they remember who they are? Will they escape? You'll have to listen to find out! More from us: GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
It's the all action conclusion to the (supposed to be) stealthy infiltration mission! Wanderheart kicks ass and steals jewellery, Jac lends away his trusty steed, Lucis turns into a wall, and Urtlod continues to be a thoroughly unhelpful translator. More from us: GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
It's "good"-cop teen-cop when Urtlod and Wanderheart shake down an unlucky sahuagin guard for information as he hangs from a hook in cold storage. Meanwhile across the complex, Lucis and Jac undergo the toe-tapping task of stacking dead bodies while listening to nostalgia radio. Will the Fellows' forceful deceptions work the next time they encounter an occupied room on their stealthy vanguard mission? Or are they destined to stumble through a series of completely avoidable farces as they jugger toward their mission's end? You know the answer. More from us: GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
This week's episode is a farce - practically a pantomime! Jac abandons the attempt to explore the fortress undetected in favour of confronting the sahuagin and offering them redemption in St Cuthbert. Urtlod applies an ass-focused creative licence to his translation duties and forces the party into a close-quarters fight. Wanderheart and Lucis are disappointed by a series of empty coffers. We didn't say in the episode, so: thank you so much to Dan Lee and to Adam Sillman for our podcast cover artwork and theme tune respectively. You can find Dan on Instagram at @danleecomics and Adam runs a multimedia poetry magazine you can find at crunchpoetry.com. Just as a side note: we're still in lockdown here in Wales (UK) and recording from our respective homes, and we're really grateful that we've been able to continue to do this, and humbled by the time and effort our players put in and by you, Dear Listener, downloading and listening to our episodes. Stay safe, stay home if you can, wear a mask when you can't, and we hope we can see you (vaccinated) soon! More from us: GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
Harryl Staint has not approved this mission, but our heroes made a promise they intend to keep; Jac Tegwyn (Dan Jenkins), Lucis Freeman (Saul Woods), and Andreina "Wanderheart" Kulanekali (Rachel Stockton) are off to fight alongside the lizardfolk in their long-prepared assault on the sahuagin, who have taken over their home. En route, they've drafted fellow rebel and new character Urtlod Octavian, the tortle monk (Kev Davies). The lizardfolk have a special task for the renegades, but it'll require them to sneak unseen into the now two-thirds submerged fortress and survive the night. If you listen and enjoy, please share. We don't pay to advertise the show, so word of mouth is how we get new listeners. And if you want more from us, you can visit our website (GraveAmbition.com) to see our latest show graphics, or our lovely faces, or to read our journal, or to see what other projects we or our guest players have got on the go. Whether stuck in traffic on a motorbike, cresting waves on a jet-ski, or piercing through the skies as a peregrine falcon, the race for the gods' favour must be won. Oliago confronts a dragon, Von abandons his own creation, Aurelia unwinds a grave injustice, and Blaze asks a woman to take her top off! Only one team can win, only one player can have their wish fulfilled. Who will it be? GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
Our special player versus player "Fringe Festival" bonus chapter continues! The two teams race through a columned hall guarded by mythical beasts and discover the mysterious city beyond. Blaze and Aurelia speed through traffic on a Ducati 996 while Oliago and Von are back at the biker bar searching for answers. It's a ring-ripping, bike-borrowing, dragon-dodging dungeon dash and only one team can win the wish! GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
The pandemic stopped us from being able to record a live episode last year but we still wanted to go ahead with the special side mission that we'd planned so here it is. It's quite different from our previous "Fringe Festival" specials for a number of reasons, Like all our pandemic episodes the game is being played and recorded remotely over Roll20. What was supposed to be a single episode affair turned into a chapter because Dan doesn't know how to make small simple things. Throw the friendly teamwork attitudes in the bin because this time it's PLAYER VERSUS PLAYER! DM Dan has decreed that the gods from 2019's live episode have created a challenging dungeon race for two teams of mortals to conquer with the promise of a great reward. Co-host Abi and guest player Rachel return their heroic season one characters Aurelia and Blaze to fight for Team Gold. Racing against them for Team Ultramarine are Von and Oliago - the mighty (but a little rusty) season one characters played by guest players Kev and Harry. It's a riddle-icious, trap-gasmic, brain-bending dungeon designed to push the players to their limit! GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
Bombus, Geraint, and Jac finally discover a plot point after venturing through the secret doorway Dan sneakily spied on the Roll20 map in the last session. Geraint takes a critical hit from a gigantic Grecian-myth monster, Jac gets brave, and Bombus picks the absolute best (read: worst) time to open a bag of chocolate buttons. The Fellows are responsible for yet another fire. Bombus and Geraint share a moment of intimacy. Jac tries to join a cosmic dragon vore cult. Next episode will be our Not Live at the Swansea Fringe special - featuring some returning, excitingly high-level, season one characters! GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
Seasons Greetings, Dear Listener! This is our third annual Fellows Bold Christmas Special, so of course we asked Rhys, Laura and Kath to join us for another festive adventure! The four Fellows wake up in the local jail with no memory of why or how they got there. The only thing they can be sure of is that they'd all been at the FGWAA Non-Denominational Midwinter Festival Party. Can they escape their bind and find freedom? Will they ever remember what heinous crime they commited - or supposedly committed? Can the players keep the foul language to a minimum so we can release a single episode without the explicit tag? (spoiler: no - Dan's bleeped the swears, but there are still some adult/challenging themes) Merry Christmas, Nadolig Llawen, Happy Holidays. Thank you for continuing to tune in
An attempt at diplomacy. Ham. Restrained in a net. Ham. Bashed on the bonce. Ham. Dirty Kitchen. Ham. Trolling a card game. Ham. After recording, we looked up Billy Bear Ham to see if it's just a UK thing and it appears it is, so sorry non-UK folks. It is internet search-able though, so we'd recommend doing that for the lolz. According to metro.co.uk, the ingredients of Billy Bear Ham are pork (66%), water, pea starch, salt, pea protein, dextrose, salt replacers, spices, antioxidants, stabiliser, yeast extract, and preservative - so you can make your mind up on whether you'd put that inside your body or not. GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
Dan really wanted this week's episode description to just be Iron Maiden lyrics, but then he remembered Iron Maiden are a bit fascist these days so we're not doing that. DM Abi realises she probably should have scaled down the Skull Dunes encounter, but our brave Fellows venture on anyway. Jac spends his last big spell slot summoning a second camel and we're sure you can guess how that'll end. Geraint (re)discovers bludgeoning damage. Bombus plays with his Jimmy Snap. Will they be able to talk their way out of this fight or will Dan (as Jac) just talk them into it further? GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
It's time for an island adventure! Unfortunately for the Fellows this island adventure isn't all boat drinks and cheeseburgers in paradise. It's more of a slogging through wet dunes in the cold November rain to survey land for a lighthouse kinda thing. Join returning heroes Geraint and Jac as they team up with elderly new recruit Bombus Crockett to solve mysteries, eat Welshcakes, and dance for camels. GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
In the concluding part of our Halloween special, the Fellows climb higher up the stairs and delve deeper into the conspiracy of the mysterious "fun" house. Afternoon Nap continues to lead the party with her expert blood-knowing, while Geraint and Ori have a little cwtch (cuddle) as they battle a fearsome fiend. Please check our website and social media (links below) to see some amazing artwork from guest player Mihai Georgescu and to find out more about the opening music of this episode by Charly Beth and Millan Winchester. Hello Dear Listener, and welcome to the first ever The Fellows Bold Halloween Special! It's Hallowe'en in Whitewyrm, and as part of the ongoing mission to repair relations with the city, our Fellows have been tasked with chaperoning trick or treaters. They also need to check out a strange "fun house" that has popped up on the candy route. The stakes rise pretty quickly when returning heroes Geraint ap Thomas and Afternoon Nap, along with brand new character Orikalkon Melomel (played by brand new guest player Mihai Georgescu) realise they're not the first Fellows Glynn Thomas has sent to check it out... This is a special short chapter, and the conclusion to the adventure will air on Friday 30th October (there'll then be no new episode on Monday 2nd November). Happy Halloween! GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
In this episode, the Fellows fill each other in on their separate missions before taking part in the rowboat race. They've got Ghid and Nap on the oars and Lucis and Bethrynna dishing out motivation, but will it be enough to beat the other rowers - including a second surprise Fellows team? They then get wind of a heist taking place at a secret, snobby, high-society bank and decide to heist the heist. Ghid and Lucis show off their best Batman impressions. Nap uses her own experience with taming the monster inside to bring a cursed Bethrynna back to reality. This last weekend would have been the Swansea Fringe Festival 2020. Although we weren't able to record a live show, we have a special episode for you which will air around New Year's Eve as usual - hurray! Join us in two weeks for a new chapter: our first ever Halloween special. OoOooOooOoooo! GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
In this episode, Lucis attends Bad Ryan's very exclusive party accompanied by his sticky-fingered plus one. Ghideon goes from corner man to champion when he gets his big break at the Athletic Combat Entertainment mega-show. All the while Bethrynna and Afternoon Nap continue their rescue of the warship Captain, but belligerent bandits aren't the only foes they must face! Lots of music for you in this one, with themes for Lucis by Saul Woods and for Ghid by Adam Sillman. Adam also took our little ditty from “Salvage Operation” and made it 1000% more professional sounding. Thanks folks! GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
The boys take centre stage: Lucis in Sudrock's Bar and Grill as the Shong Contesht gets under way, and Ghideon donning the mantle of Courageous Couatl for his first A.C.E. (Athletic Combat Entertainment) match. Meanwhile, the girls Bethrynna and Nap take an evening stroll through the countryside north of the city with a (naval) queen's ransom. In this episode, Saul (Lucis) displays his musical talent, Dan (DM) & Adam (Ghideon) geek out over pro-wrestling, and Tamsyn (Bethrynna) and Abi (Nap) wonder if they'll sleep tonight, or ever again. If you listen and enjoy, we'd really love if you could share this with a friend, or on social media. And we'd love to hear from you so shoot us a message - #FellowsBold. Next episode due 21st September (2020). GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
After taking on the beastie with the love of bar snacks, the party splits up for some solo missions. Ghideon strolls around Whitewyrm Market and begins to craft his new persona ready for Friday night's wrestling match in which he's hoping to be the main event. Doctor Koehlanna (Bethrynna) sets up a stall in the multi-faith temple where she offers medical and spiritual advice on copycats, wobbly knees, sudden balding, and an important ship captain's inability to get a good night's sleep. We're back on our regular fortnightly schedule. The next episode will be released on Monday 7th September (2020). You can expect: wrestling, a ransom demand, and Lucis' extraordinary talent. GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
After a brief jaunt to the surveyor's office, the Fellows meet Command Officer Glyn Thomas back in Whitewyrm for a coffee and a cautionary chit-chat. They share a nice, peaceful walk home, and after a good night's rest, rise bright and early to head to the New Billy to pick up a bounty mission. Ghideon loots a shaman's cave. Bethrynna returns a lost family heirloom. Afternoon Nap refuses to be involved in an extradition. Lucis lures a man into a trap with the promise of bar snacks. We're sorry we missed last week's episode! We'll be releasing two in a row this Monday and next (24/08/2020), and will be back on our regular fortnightly schedule after that. Stay safe, wear a mask, wash your hands, keep 2 metres apart, punch nazis. We love you. GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
A team of Fellows on a mission in a recently emerged jungle find themselves hunted by an extra-tentacled horror. Bureaucratic badass Lucis Freeman joins the team as they embark on their covertly co-opted contract to dispatch a monstrous amphibian nuisance. Get ready for demons, punctuality, assassination, transformation, vore, and a familiar voice all crammed into one episode of THE FELLOWS BOLD! GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
A four-day festival of sailing spectacles and rambunctious revelry known as Shore Days is coming to Whitewyrm. As scores of sea-farers, merchants, entertainers, and tourists pour into the town there's an air of opportunity for enterprising adventurers. But first, an all-Fellows meeting has been called to reveal the future of the Whitewyrm branch. Who is the mysterious and rather unpleasant new manager that's just arrived? And why has he taken a special interest in a handful of specific Fellows and possibly set them up to fail before they've even begun their unusual new mission? GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
Deep in the belly of a sinking ship, caught between a vessel-crushing giant cephalopod and four foul and fearsome flying ghasts, the Fellows face their toughest challenge yet: a wet rope ladder! Is Jac really going to drown? Can Bethrynna carry a paladin in chainmail up a 30ft climb? Will Wanderheart get to collect the tiny spiders she needs to seek her revenge? Will they all just sink in the ship that Bad Ryan sent them to salvage? GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
Krell still unconscious and safely stowed on their small sailing boat, the Fellows set to exploring the rest of the ship, Emperor of the Waves. Their mission is to recover Bad Ryan's long-lost treasure, and thus far they've found nothing remotely treasure-sque. On Jac's suggestion, Bethrynna and Wanderheart investigate a room off the main deck that leads to a nearly-deadly surprise attack. After a narrow escape, they stumble upon a trapdoor leading into the cargo hold, and there meet a group of voracious ghasts. Bethrynna makes a death save. Jac plays the hero. Wanderheart folds some maps. DM Abi, so pedantic about the doors in the first chapter she ever DM'd, White Plume Mountain, is completely unable to accurately describe the presence or appearance of a single door. GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
In which an elf, a goliath, and a human hassle the holy half-orc headmaster Krell about his cobweb covered shrine to the Demon Queen of Spiders. Bethrynna rolls her eyes, Wanderheart rages, and Jac unleashes the demon! Among all this chaos one of them loses a shoe. GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
A long-missing ship looms, lopsided, just beyond the Bay of Whitewyrm. Popular local nobleman Bad Ryan says it's his, is full of treasure, and he wants The Fellows Bold to help him get it back. After Fellows Jac, Lucis, and Wanderheart humiliated him when he came to collect his missing magic item (the Bone of Truth - at the end of the last chapter), and with Acting Command Officer Mrs Thomas having to answer some difficult questions down at City Hall, the Fellowship has no choice but to take the job and try to salvage Bad Ryan's ship - and their relationship. There should be some gold in it, too. For this chapter, we welcome this season's constant guest player, Dan Jenkins, as well as returning guest player Rachel Stockton, and brand new guest player Tamsyn Protheroe! Abi Staniforth DMs. For this season, we are working our way through the adventures in Wizards of the Coast's Ghosts of Saltmarsh; in this chapter, Salvage Operation. GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
Having already basically aced this dungeon by impressing the Lizard Queen Othokent and the entire student body of her warrior training class, the Fellows are forced to take part in DM Abi's homebrew Crime Scene Investigation game. The lizardfolk have been recruiting allies to join their fight against an as yet unnamed foe (will anyone ever think to ask?!), but a brutal murder suggests they cannot all be trusted. Jac, Lucis, and Wanderheart must solve the crime and find the traitor, or the lizardfolk's campaign will surely be doomed to fail. Back at the Command Centre, Bad Ryan comes looking for his recovered magical artefact and leaves with a bucketful of humiliation. With guest appearance from Saul's cat, Link! We're on (a sort of) lockdown here in the UK, and recording episodes from our respective homes with the help of Audacity, Roll20, and Discord. It's really cool that we're able to do this! We're sending love and hoping you're all staying safe and well
It's time for the Fellows to face Thousand Teeth - but first they should probably solve a couple of mysteries like "Where is Thousand Teeth" and "Actually, what IS Thousand Teeth?". Also, Jack soaks his trousers, Wanderheart feeds a snake a healthy iron-filled snack, and Lucis unleashes the eldritch powers of bureaucracy. GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
It's time for a new chapter and new characters! Noble paladin Jac Tegwyn (Dan) is joined by smooth talking Tiefling warlock Lucis Freeman (Saul) and tough young Goliath barbarian Andrena 'Wanderheart' Kulanekali (Rachel). In this adventure the three Fellows are tasked with investigating a neighbouring community to find out why they are stockpiling weapons and rallying soldiers. Are they planning an attack on the Fellows' home city of Whitewyrm? Or are they preparing for war against a terrifying new foe? Either way, Whitewyrm needs to know and The Fellows Bold won't rest until they find out! GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
Upon remembering none of them speak "ship", the Fellows decide to find a way to get out to the boat they've been trying to signal to on the horizon. Their new friend Ned is jettisoned through a window (involuntarily), and Jac goes through the floor (voluntarily). Geraint loses his ham, and Ghid decides he's really, well and truly, had enough of the ham room. On the boat, the trio successfully convince the smugglers that Ghid is their leader, Sanbalet, and that he wants them to start unloading the stolen goods onto their little rowing boat. Geraint finds a box marked with a stamp that will be of particular interest to the Fellowship. Can Geraint, Ghid and Jac save the mission before it all goes up in smoke? Can anyone remember what the mission objectives were, anyway? First episode of Chapter 2 to be released in 2 weeks (6th April 2020). Wherever you are in the world right now, we hope you are well, staying safe, and staying home if you can. GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
This week, we finally stumble in to some plot points - hurray! Geraint, Ghid and Jac devise an obstacle course worthy of Takeshi's Castle. They discover the truth of the old alchemist who was rumoured to haunt this house, and Geraint gets a nasty burn for his troubles. Ghid gets a new hat. Upstairs, the trio set to investigating a panoply of mouldy bedrooms. Jac finds more than some old Christmas decorations in the attic, and Ghid finds a man in his pants. We hope you're enjoying the new season, and aren't missing us too much in the off-weeks of our new schedule. Next episode will be released on Monday 23rd March (2020). We'd be grateful if you could leave us a review on Apple Podcasts and/or recommend us to your pals on social media - we don't pay to advertise, so the only way our audience grows is by word of mouth. Thanks in advance! #FellowsBold GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
The mysterious Mr. Sandwiches is dead, having sprayed all the blood out of his body via a suddenly appearing hole in his neck. With the angry basement dweller so expertly dispatched by Ghideon, it appears safe for Geraint and Jac to regroup in the cosy subterranean bed & breakfast hall that these Fellows have come to call "The Ham Room". Also in this episode; Geraint finally finds a clue, Ghideon enjoys some 'alone time', and Jac continues to test the limits of hubris and his own mortality. GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
Too many plans! The Fellows are at odds as Ghideon, disguised as Dave the Bandit NPC, creates a distraction that Jac and Geraint exploit to enact their own plan. Frustrated, Ghid tries to leave them to it, but is caught between his pals, an upended bed, and an accidentally-conjured boar. Itching for a proper fight, then, Ghid tries to lead the trio into the caves for a scrap with some scouts, but the encounter sends Jac scurrying (on 1HP) back into the ham room, where Bandit Leader and possible homeowner Sanbalet confronts them with hands full of knives. What were they here to do again? Damned if they know! GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
We rejoin Whitewyrm in the depths of midwinter. The city is almost rebuilt after being destroyed by an unnatural tidal wave, but there is one house on the promenade that is resisting restoration – and it appears to be haunted. The Fellows Bold sends some recent recruits to check it out: we have 3 brand new randomly-generated characters to introduce you to, as well as a brand new guest player. Ghideon slips a Godzilla reference passed us (we see you now, Adam), Geraint throws a net, and Jac has some questions about a ham. For Season Two of The Fellows Bold podcast, we will be working our way through the dungeons of Ghosts of Saltmarsh (Wizards of the Coast). We're hoping to throw in some homebrew adventures along the way, too. Episodes will released every other Monday going forward, so the next new episode will be released on 10th February (2020). Thanks for staying tuned! GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
Hello Dear Listener. This interlude is just a hello-howdy-do from hosts Abi & Dan to announce our plans for the next season and to get a few plugs and thank-yous in. Chapter one of our second season starts next week (Monday 27th January). Episodes will then be released every other Monday. Stay tuned! We've also revamped our website. Take a look: GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
This dungeon has everything; a mountain of glittering treasure, a river of boiling hot lava, and an evil dragon that needs slaying. The Fellows get down to it in their own way: Drusilia does some stunts, Common summons some centipedes, and Sylvia throws some stuff around. Would you have it any other way? This is the final episode of Season One. Thank you for listening! We'll be back next Monday (20th January) with a short interlude episode for you, and the Monday after that (27th January), we'll be getting stuck into Season Two! Episodes will then be released every other Monday. Stay tuned! We've also revamped our website. Take a look: GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
An elf, a mouse, and a moorhen swim into a cave. Inside, they bestow a reckoning that finds the followers of Busepho shot, stabbed, poisoned, pierced, and (literally) shitting themselves. Drusilia shows no mercy, Common summons a pack of panthers, and Sylvia preaches the merits of keeping a journal. GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
This is the first episode of a special side mission we recorded earlier in the year with dear friends Ben and Jude. Chronologically this takes place during Season 1 Chapter 12, and as Aurelia is away on that mission, Abi reprises her 2018 Christmas Special character Sylvia Winterleaf, a mousefolk barbarian. Jude is playing an elf paladin and Ben an aaracokra druid. And the mission? It's quite simple really, just travel at great haste to a far away tropical island and convince the residing dragon to ally with The Fellows Bold in the deadly battle to come. What could go wrong? GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
Happy Holidays dear listener! We're deep in the festive spirit and to celebrate the season we invited our good friends (and total D&D novices) Kath and Laura to join us for a one off winter holiday adventure! Command Centre 64 is closing for the ("not Christmas") holidays, and three Fellows have booked in to a fancy spa hotel to get some well needed rest. Will they have a straightforward, peaceful stay? You know they won't! Nadolig Llawen - Merry Christmas! GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
The battle continues! Kane, Oliago, and Von get right up in Magi-Gear RAGE's face (literally) and roust the O.C.C.U.L.T. wizards. Inside the Brain Chamber, Aurelia, Blaze and Lynhart come face to face with the Big Bad Anorak himself; they're tough, but will they prove to be tough enough to take him down once and for all? This is the finale episode of an original adventure written by Mr Dan Jenkins using elements and some npc characters from Wizards of the Coast's Tales from the Yawning Portal. We'll also be releasing our Christmas Special Episode this week, and sharing information with you about Season 2. Nadolig Llawen - Merry Christmas! GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
While the dragon riders are battling the elite wizards guarding Magi-Gear RAGE, it's up to Aurelia, Blaze, & Lynhart to infiltrate the walking dungeon and battle their way up to Anorak's brain chamber! Blaze does some wall running and Aurelia disappears some cutlery, while Lynhart gains a pet and loses an orifice. GraveAmbition / Twitter / Facebook
The Fellows face their most challenging challenge yet! It's a race against time and evil, through an interdimensional dungeon, to literally save the very fabric of reality. They must intercept morally bankrupt artefact collector and local villain Badrienne (or Bad Ryan as he is known locally) and stop him from retrieving the fabled COSMIC THREAD. Performed and recorded live at Cinema & Co for Swansea Fringe Festival
Magi-Gear RAGE stomps slowly closer to the heart of Whitewyrm. Command centre 64 want to send a team of Fellows inside to take down Anorak but the walking mountain is guarded by the elite wizards of The O.C.C.U.L.T. and a host of flying monsters. Enter the dragonbackers! An airborne unit making full use of the fellowship's winged allies to secure the perimeter and stop the wicked wizards from joining the internal battle. Oliago Stormstalker comes in fast and raging, swinging his big sword and riding the lightning breathing bronze dragon Nadia. Von and his magical golem Andre bring fire and fury atop the personally recruited Shetheilyss Warmheart. Meanwhile, high above the clouds on Bolo the brass dragon, the dynamic duo of Kane Turi & Erky Timbers prepare to unleash devastating tag team efficiency with all the deep romantic power of the Golden Lovers.
