U.S. Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said on Wednesday that Russia and Iran have both tried to interfere with the 2020 presidential election. "We have confirmed that some voter registration information has been obtained by Iran, and separately, by Russia," Ratcliffe said during a hastily arranged news conference. "We have already seen Iran sending spoofed emails designed to intimidate voters, incite social unrest and damage president Trump." Ratcliffe was referring to emails sent Wedensday and designed to look like they came from the pro-Trump Proud Boys group, according to government sources. U.S. intelligence agencies previously warned that Iran might interfere to hurt Trump and that Russia was trying to help him in the election. Outside experts said that if Ratcliffe was correct, Iran would be trying to make Trump look bad by calling attention to support and threats by the sometimes violent group. The emails are under investigation, and one intelligence source said it was still unclear who was behind them. Some of those emails also contained a video, debunked by experts, that purported to show how fake ballots could be submitted. Ratcliffe said that claim was false. Most voter registration information is public. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/windownews/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/windownews/support

Today's News Live from Window News I am Ivan According to several sources the Trump Administration and their top officials in charge of the operation Warp Speed have not briefed anyone on the Biden transition team over how the planning and distribution of the Covid-19 vaccine is going to take place. When challenged on this, the White House spokesperson Brian Morgenstern stated that all plans were publicly available. The number of Coronavirus cases around the world have now almost reached 57,000,000. In the United States the total number of Coronavirus cases are 11.6 million. It has now reached its peak with normal days of Covid increasing by 60% and deaths by 24% The states with the most cases are Texas, California, and Florida and with the most deaths: New York, Texas, and California. Pfizer and Moderna's vaccine is waiting for approval by the CDC and will start distribution as soon as December. This however doesn't mean people will get it. It will be out to the general public sometime in April. The Mexican president Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said on Thursday that he did not threaten to expel United States officials from the DEA out of Mexico. This came after the arrest conducted by United States officials of Salvador Cienfuegos on counts of corruption and bribery. Several media outlets in Mexico have stated that Mexico did expel them. Window News can confirm, from various internal sources, that Mexico expelled the DEA officials. The World Health Organization reiterated the fact that traveling during the pandemic is dangerous and that holidays this years cannot be celebrated the same where places are at critical point. The CDC describe something similar saying that Thanksgiving in the United States, which is this Thursday, November 26 shall not have more than a few people. The long awaited report by Australian officials was published today and had some striking news. In the report, Australian forces killed 39 Afghan civilians and prisoners unlawfully. The Defense force general Campbell said it was "possibly the most disgraceful episode in Australia's military history." The Vatican is now in Hot Water after a report alleging cardinal Mcarrick abusing seminarians and students. Pope Francis published the findings in a 500 page report and said it was a disgrace. The Vatican is also looking for an explanation after the Pope's official instagram account somehow liked a photo of a Brazilian Model. The catholic daily newspaper La Croix stated, “The pope is not like Donald Trump, he's not sitting around using a phone or computer to tweet all day long.” Both of these topics have caused controversy. Make a deal that delivers for working Americans and eases their anxiety and pain." "It's almost like he doesn't care, he doesn't affect him because it doesn't affect him or his class of friends." As both candidates get ready for one of the most consequential campaign years in history, the United States labor department released a report that showed job growth slowing to 8.4% and nonfarm payrolls increasing 1.37 million, this is fewer than was in July but almost the same as was in August. The United States loses bid on Iran Arms Embargo this as Putin pushes to avoid a nuclear deal showdown The United States of America lost a bid on Friday to extend a United Nations arms embargo that would've been imposed on Iran, this as Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed a convention summit with world leaders to avoid the United States to trigger a return of sanctions to Tehran, Iran. In a vote with world leaders the United Nations voted the following: Russia and China opposed extending the weapon ban while eleven members abstained. Only two, the Dominican Republic and the United States, voted in favor. The arms embargo is expected to expire in October under a 2015 nuclear deal. The fact that the United States could not extend the arms embargo could mean that they would have to trigger all sanctions to Iran using a provision in the nuclear deal, something that would be much more severe to Iran than the embargo. Putin proposed a video summit with world leaders to try to avoid further “confrontation and escalation” over Iran. The capital of Lebanon, Beirut had a massive explosion near the center of the city, killing at least 25 people and injuring at least 2,500. It also sent extreme, immense shockwaves across the capital and the rest of the neighboring cities, causing windows to shatter and broken glass to fall. Another problem was that apartment balconies fell to the ground when the shaking took place. This is the most powerful explosion to hit Beirut in years, causing many of the residents to think that this was an earthquake. Many of the people right now are looking if everyone is fine and trying to find what they can of the remainings. Lebanon's interior minister states that initial information indicated that what went off was highly explosive material, that had been seized a long time ago, it has been stored for a long time and blew up. Others suggest that this was an industry error. The broadcaster Mayadeen says that what went off were tonnes of nitrate. Footage of the explosion shows multiple columns of smoke rising and then an enormous blast that made white smoke and a fireball. The footage is seen going backwards because the people filming the incident were pushed backwards. At least 10 people were taken to the hospital and hundreds more were injured. The Lebanese president called for an emergency meeting of the country's Supreme Defense Council. Prime Minister Hassan Diab called for a day of mourning on Wednesday. It is still unclear what set the explosion. The governor of Beirut had said in a statement that a team of firefighters were near the scene and had disappeared when the explosion took place. France says that they are ready to help the Lebanese president if anything is needed to help the overwhelming hospitals. El Canal de Twitch de El Presidente Donald Trump fue removido por Conducta Odiosa. Noticias de hoy.

Play Episode Listen Later Jun 29, 2020 2:03
