From interviews to short-form life hacks. We dive in to a range of different subjects, focused around the idea of improving the quality of our lives.
Thanks so much for listening :) This is the 3rd Purpose Project episode on the wriinkle Podcast feed! In this one you'll hear a short chat I had with Alex Manzi - he runs/hosts the Dreamer's Disease podcast and is also a mental health advocate and is on a mission to spread positivity. He tells me about the purpose behind everything that he's doing and provides some great little tips, thoughts and inspiration. Check his socials out to see everything he's upto: @iamalexmanzi @the_dreamersdisease Thanks Alex! Check out the wriinkle Instagram @wriinkle to see Alex's Purpose Project portrait and so many other purposeful people's too :) Enjoy! Anton
Thank you for listening :) In this episode I was inspired by my conversation with Annie & Hannah (HANNIE!) where we talked about their thoughts on the law of attraction. I've made the mistake in the past of just taking the law of attraction at face value and hearing phrases like 'what you think about you bring about' and not really thinking much beyond that and even beyond the phrase law of attraction. So let's take a look at something that i would say is part of the picture and is a more practical way of realising something like the law of attraction. In this i refer to Dr Joe Dispenza and particularly his book Becoming Supernatural (probably for about third time in these wriinkle Shorts!) Anyway - here's an amazon link to the book: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Becoming-Supernatural-Common-People-Uncommon-ebook/dp/B0746RN3G7 I also use a short clip from Tom Bilyeu's brilliant podcast Impact Theory: https://youtu.be/La9oLLoI5Rc Okay well i hope i got this idea across okay :/ Please feel free to carry on getting in touch via the community@wriinkle email or through the wriinkle instagram - i think we'll have some boss conversations off the back oif this one. Hope you enjoy this :) Nice one! Anton
Hello! This is episode 2 of the Purpose Project Each episode will feature a conversation with those people in the wriinkle community who are working to realise their purpose – they’re on a growth journey and are going after that thing, they have that big WHY. Hearing other peoples stories will help us believe the same is possible for us and get inspired to go after our own purpose :) In this one we popped in to speak to Annie & Hannah – together they form HANNIE! Since we did a wriinkle podcst episode with them 10 months ago they have released 3 singles and I hear all about how that journey has been and learn a little more about their purpose and the real reasons behind why they’re doing their thing. Annie & Hannah are great and we always have great conversations – so thank you to them and be sure to check out HANNIE on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/7vp58vF08Hg9TbDrYH2nAh They also put out amazing content on Instagram, you’ve got to see it if you haven’t already: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/hannieplays/ We’re running the purpose project on the wriinkle Instagram too so be sure to check out HANNIE’s feature and all the other purposeful people so far: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wriinkle/ Let us know what you think of this new podcast thread and the Purpose Project as a whole. Also if you think we should feature any other inspiring and purposeful people that you may know (or know of) let us know…or even yourself! Email: community@wriinkle.com DM @wriinkle on Instagram Thank you so much for listening :) Nice one! Anton
Alright! Thanks for listening – hello to all the new subscribers this week, made up to have you :) Movement is medicine - that's what this episode is all about. According to the World Health Organisation about a third of the world's population are leading dangerously sedentary lifestyles (the richest companies like UK & USA can be found in the top bracket!). This is putting us at significantly increased risk of things like heart disease, cancer, type II diabetes, depression, Alzheimers and so much more. So in this episode we talk about how we can be more conscious of breaking up our long periods of inactivity throughout our days. Also how much activity and which types are recommended and then we also look at a couple of movements we can carry out to complement our non-sedentary activities and actually boost our brain power too. I've found an article that demonstrates the 2 movements/exercises I talk about: https://blog.myfitnesspal.com/3-brain-body-boosting-moves-add-next-walk/ Also Dr Marie Pasinkis book can be found on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1401341489/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=inw051-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=1401341489&linkId=77cd5805bc0c365ef0e4adf1b9032a74 Thanks for listening and keep getting in touch on the wriinkle Instagram DMs and also email community@wriinkle.com Nice one :) Anton
Alright! Thanks for listening :) So we previewed our upcoming Instagram project on Monday and as part of that I've been finding interesting people on Instagram who seem like they have a purpose, that big WHY, and are doing bits, and direct messaging them. So I've been engaging with them on Insta and arranging a time and place (usually in or around London) to meet up and do an interview and take their portrait. So it was only into the 3rd one of these that I realised what a funny new situation i'm putting myself in everyday - meeting strangers and getting them to open up to me about their life! It's been great and they've all been successful so far :) This got me thinking about how i've been watching the recordings back and analysing my own performance and extracting the reason why i've somehow managed to get each person to trust and open up to me right away. I've also looked into some books and articles on the subject and combined these with my own thoughts to give you 2 main techniques (or at least things to think about) in having great conversations with new people and creating a comfortable easy environment for them to open up. The key books i've referred to are: How To Win Frineds & Influence People In The Digital Age - Dale Carniegie https://www.amazon.co.uk/How-Friends-Influence-People-Digital/dp/085720727X How To Talk To Anyone - Leil Lowndes - https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=How+To+Talk+To+Anyone+ Thanks to everyone who got in touch in the last few days about our new Instagram Purpose Project - it would be amazing if any of you have your own tips and advice to share with me on talking to new people, forming quick connections and sparking great conversations. email: community@wriinkle.com Insta: wriinkle Thanks so much for listening - hope you enjoy and (maybe, just maybe) get something ut of this :):) Nice one! Anton
Following on from that little preview episode we released last week this is the first wriinkle Short episode of this new Purpose Project. Exciting! We’ve put a load of thought into what wriinkle’s purpose is recently – what's our big, ultimate mission for everything we’re doing?? This is it: Wriinkle’s mission is to empower people to find their purpose. We know from our own experience, and see it in our friends and family, that people often get to a stage of their life where they might be questioning the path they're on. Maybe we're feeling unfulfilled by what we're doing and know that we can be fulfilling more ambitions, doing more of what we love and what we can contribute to whole heartedly. This all boils down to purpose. What’s your purpose? So when we're thinking about what can inspire us and energise us to find/go after our purpose - we think seeing other people on their own journey of growth (however far along it they might be) can have have the best effect. There’s a short bit at the start of chapter 6 of Becoming Supernatural by Dr Joe Dispenza - the chapter is called “living examples of truth and he says; “once we can relate to the challenges and triumphs of other people’s journeys we can start to believe a similar experience can happen for us. Stories also make ideas become less philosophical and more personal” Here's the link to that book: https://tinyurl.com/ya4m7y9m So for us at wriinkle - this project isn’t about ‘success stories’ – it’s about sharing journeys, illustrating the growth mindset and helping people find purpose. So this first episode will feature the audio from an interview I did with Michael Sebastian - we filmed him busking outside Kings Cross and featured his performance in episode 20 of the wriinkle vlog on Youtube Link: https://youtu.be/VWDiaHuRTQ0?t=2m28s We've been in contact with him since and arranged this little meet-up to talk about his journey so far. Michael talks about his purpose and also gets into exactly why he started busking. Check him out on Instagram @bastiancreations Also get on the wriinkle Instagram and YouTube - lots of new stuff about to drop! Nice one :) Anton
New Project Preview Episode! So this one’s a little different to the wriinkle short you were expecting - that's because we're excited to let you know about a new project we're about to launch. Exciting times. We’ve recently been putting a load of thought into what wriinkle’s purpose is – what's our big, ultimate mission for everything we’re doing? This is it: Wriinkle’s mission is to empower people to find their purpose, or find more purpose in their lives. We know from our own experience, and see it in our friends, that people often get to a stage of their life where they might be questioning the path they're on. Maybe we're feeling unfulfilled by what we're doing and know that we can be fulfilling more ambitions, doing more of what we love and what we can contribute to whole heartedly. This all boils down to purpose. What’s your purpose? Here we go! Another wriinkle Short, thank you for listening :) This ones all about the microbiome. In this episode we get stuck into what the gut microbiome is, the microbes (bacteria, fungi, viruses etc) that make up 90% of our body and how this all plays a massive part in the way we think and feel and our health and wellbeing. Here's a link to Zendium - the micorbiome balancing toothpast I mention: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Zendium-Complete-Protection-Toothpaste-75ml/dp/B07DFR2W4V The book I refer to is Brain Maker: The Power of Gut Microbes to Heal and Protect Your Brain - for Life by David Perlmutter https://www.amazon.co.uk/Brain-Maker-Power-Microbes-Protect-ebook/product-reviews/B00PW636FS/ref=cm_cr_getr_d_paging_btm_3?ie=UTF8&reviewerType=all_reviews&sortBy=recent&pageNumber=3#R2NFEXZXYEQVK0 Also here's a good blog post all about the best foods for a healthy gut microbiome: https://foodrevolution.org/blog/best-foods-for-gut-health/ Thanks so much to everyone that we've been speaking to this week about finding purpose since the last episode. Love it :) Continue to get in touch, I'd love it if someone can teach me more about the gut microbiome! Email community@wriinkle.com or DM on the wriinkle instagram. Right thanks for listening and look after the gut microbiome people! Nice one :) Anton music by Dyalla Swain https://soundcloud.com/dyallas
Here we go! Thanks for listening :) Purpose is such a big thing for wriinkle - we're all about empowering people to find their purpose, or more purpose in their lives. That’s our ultimate goal/purpose/mission. So we’ve been focused on defining this ultimate mission so that it can help us to be focused and coherent with every idea we create and execute. So this episode is all about purpose and how having a purpose will not only help you achieve more, and have a positive effect on the world around you but also – according to Blue Zone research – encourage good health and longevity. So whether you already have a defined life’s purpose (usually a 6-10 one liner) or you're at a stage where you’re looking for yours, this episode is all about some initial things we can be thinking about. Here’s Mastin Kipp’s book Claim Your Power that I refer to in the episode: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Claim-Your-Power-Journey-Dissolve/dp/1781805946/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1535575208&sr=1-1&refinements=p_27%3AMastin+Kipp Thanks to all the people who’ve been in touch about the last few episodes – it’s been great chatting to you all. Can’t wait to hear what your thoughts are on this subject too :) Contact us on community@wriinkle.com or find wriinkle on Instagram and get in touch through there. Nice one – enjoy! You are listenin' to a Wriinkle Short! This one's all about reading - a commonality with all of the worlds high achievers, prominent leaders, CEOs etc is reading prolifically. Also – I didn’t get round to this in the episode but reading can actually help you live longer. They did a big piece of research at Yale and found that people who read books for 30 minutes daily lived an average of 23 months longer than nonreaders or magazine readers. They say the practice of reading books creates cognitive engagement that improves lots of things, including vocabulary, thinking skills, and concentration. It also can affect empathy, social perception, and emotional intelligence, all of which helps people stick around on the planet for longer. We also touch on some other methods for consuming books – outside of straight reading. And then we delve into an amazing feller called Jim Kwik’s tips for working out how you can read a book a week – so in theory 52 books a year! Hope you enjoy this and get something out of it! Thanks for the feedback on the last episode on the growth mindset – it’s so much appreciated, I’m very grateful. Let me know what you think of this one and if you’ve got any thoughts or tips on reading Email: community@wriinkle.com Or DM on the wriinkle Instagram Nice one :) Anton
How doooo This episode is based on Carol Dweck's mindset theory which is all detailed in her brilliant book Mindset: Changing The Way You Think To Fulfil Your Potential https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/1780332009/ref=tmm_pap_used_olp_sr?ie=UTF8&condition=used&qid=&sr= Within this book (and on a few Ted Talks and other bit which you can find on Youtube) she details two opposing mindsets: The Fixed Mindset: which suggests that your abilities are innate and unchangeable. Like how we commony think of talents and 'gifts' The Growth Mindset: which basically views our abilies not as fixed 'talents' but as something the you can improve In this episode I detail some of the characteristics and differences between the two mindsets and how i've personally used this theory to make some significant changes to my own life. Let us know what you think about this subject - have you used this stuff to identify where you might have a fixed mindset and made positive changes off the back of it? Or do you beleive that we do possess talents and gifts and they're innate? Reach out to community@wriinkle.com or DM us on Instagram (just search 'wriinkle) Hope you enjoy this one and get something out of it - thank you for listening :) Nice one! Thanks for listening to another Wriinkle Short! This one's all about EMF - electromagnetic fields - and in particular the effects on our health from the man-made synthetic kind of EMF that are being produced from our electonics, our smart devices, connected homes and cars and wifi in gerneral. I refer to some articles/studies that have gone some way in proving or even just illustrating the potential dangers (which we aren't fully aware of yet with wifi and many devices being so relatively new). Here are the links: Electromagnetic Fields linked to Asthma in kids https://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=147669 Immune Response in Women After Prolonged EMF Exposure https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17291406 Wifi damaged sperm https://www.cbsnews.com/news/laptops-damage-sperm-what-wi-fi-study-shows/ Electromagnetic Fields and Alzheimers https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15475717 Also a list of some symptoms to EMF sensitivity/over exposure to look out for: Ringing in your ears Trouble sleeping soundly right through the night Weakened immunity Hormonal imbalances that won’t respond to treatment Chronic headaches Excessive fatigue Unexplained stress or feeling a bit wired Tingling, burning or prickling skin sensations I also discuss some preventative measures we can all take right away :) Hope you enjoy this and continue to reach out and build on these topics - I've loved discussing microdosing and stem-cells with people over the last week. I love it, keep it coming. Nice one! Anton
Here we bleedn go - another WS podcast episode. Sticking with the bio-hacking & longevity theme - this episode is all about Stem Cells. We dive into: - what are stem cells and what are their scientific/medical significance? - recent breakthroughs in stem cell research and medical usage - how we can enhance our own stem cell production and health by engaging in some dietary/lifestyle practices Keep getting in touch (thank you for the feedback and the engaging conversation around the last episode on microdosing) Reach out on: community@wriinkle.com or the wriinkle Instagram Thanks so much for listening - hope you enjoy it :) Nice one! Anton
Well we've been lining this one up for a while - I'm going to share my microdosing experience with you. Firstly I think it's important to spend the first fe minutes of this podcast rationalising (or at least me trying to rationalise) the context in which I place, and have approached, microdosing. I've been microdosing psilocybyn every 4 days and i'm going to tell you about how much, when, and for how long (a cycle) I supplement for. Hear me out and let us know what you think - have you tried it? Are you thinking about it? Have you tried microdosing with another pyschedelic? Get in touch: email community@wriinkle.com DM us on the wriinkle Instagram I also mention Dr James Fadiman & Dr Rosiland Watts - google them and have a look into their stuff - they've both appeared on Podcasts and Ted Talks and have books and papers. Dr Fadiman on Tim Ferris: https://tim.blog/2015/03/21/james-fadiman/ Dr Watts on Y Combinator: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGGFjUDXvrE Hope you enjoy this one! Here we go, another WS - thanks for listening :) So we're staying on the biohacking thread that has run through a lot of these Short podcasts and it was inspired by our last wriinkle Podcast guest Ben Lewell, who shared lots of actionable ways we can hack our lives to get out of a rut, to entrer flow states, to be more productive etc etc ..give that episode a listen if you haven't already. In this one we're talking Blue Zones - these are very specific loactions/communities around the world where the people live for significantly longer on average. So I dive into what the commonalities between these places and it's people are and how we can incorporate these into our own lives to potwntially stay healthy and active (and alive!) for longer. Get in touch with your thoughts on Blue Zones and it'd be great if you can share any tips for longevity you might have recieved from elderly family members. Contact through: Instagram & Twitter - @wriinkle Or community@wriinkle.com Here's the link to the Blue Zones book I reference: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Blue-Zones-2nd-Lessons-Longest/dp/1426209487/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1533145161&sr=1-1&keywords=blue+zones Also BBC documentary "The Truth About Exercise" https://vimeo.com/51836895 Nice one - enjoy! Here's a new wriinkle podcast - thanks listening! We were introduced to Ben Lewell only a couple of weeks before recording and we had such interesting conversations with him about meditation, blue light, flow states, mindset - which, judging by looking at our episode feed, are all things that we're fascinated by. Ben tells me about juggling a consulting career with enterepreneurship. We discuss past ventures, failures, successes and what he's learned from it all which will take him into his coming project. Thanks for everyone's engagement after the lastpodcast episode with Georgia - keep getting in touch via the wriinkle Instagram :) You can also email us on community@wriinkle.com Nice one! Anton
Thanks for listening :) Way back in #002 of the podcast we spoke to up and coming filmmaker Simon Stanford and he was talking about one of his favourite books Steal Like An Artist – needless to say we got ourselves the book pretty sharpish after speaking. It’s played a significant part in helping us conceive and execute the original content, marketing and launch strategy for wriinkle. Also it’s been instrumental in helping me to to transition from a more corporate/structured day to day life to one where I’m being more of a self-starter, producing creative work on a daily basis. In this episode I pick out two of my favourite learnings from the book: Be Boring & Steal Like An Artist Let us know what you think about this – do you have any tips, techniques or little mantras that you use to put you in the right mindset to be producing creative work or help you crack on with a project your working on?? Reach out on the wriinkle Instagram, Twitter or email us on community@wriinkle.com Thanks to all you people who I’ve been speaking to this week off the back the last Wriinkle Short :) Here’s that Amazon link to Steal Like An Artist: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/0761169253/ref=sr_1_1_olp?ie=UTF8&qid=1532533584&sr=8-1&keywords=%22steal+like+an+artist%22 Nice one! Anton
Here's a new Wriinkle Short! Thanks for listening:) There's a shift going on in our approach to, and perception of, what it means to call something your job or 'work' or a 'workplace'. The way we’re working is changing – the office for national statistics says that there’s now about 4.8 million self-employed people in the UK – which is the highest it’s ever been..well it’s the highest it’s ever been since records began 40 odd years ago. And It’s increased by more than 24% in the last 10 years. Plus there are co-working spaces popping up everywhere. What's going on? What's it all about? This paradigm shift is something we're highly interested in at wriinkle, it plays a big part in what we do and what we're trying to achieve, so i've looked into this a little but and hopefully provided a nice starting point for some further discussion on this subject. Continue to reach out via the wriinkle Instagram or email us on community@wriinkle.com and let us know what you think about all of this. Let's explore this! Enjoy :) Anton
Thanks for listening! This episode was an absolute doddle to put together because intermittent fasting is something that i've been experiencing first hand for the last 3 months. It may be a relatively a short period in your life but in the last 3 months i've enjoyed it so much, experienced a number of benefits that I hadn't even considered and I really feel like it's a long term part of my life now. In this episode i'm sharing my own experience and also talking briefly about certain aspects to this that have helped me understand it. Let us know what you think of this episode, have you had experience with intermittent fasting - how did/do you find it? We're really interested to hear peoples experiences with it. Reach out via the wriinkle instagram, twitter or email community@wriinkle.com Nice one :) :) :) Anton music by Dyalla Swain https://soundcloud.com/dyallas
Here we go – episode 21! In this one we’re speaking to Georgia Plaskow, she runs Ohros – making 100% handmade, 100% soy vegan candles. Check out the Instagram https://www.instagram.com/ohroslondon/ We get into how Ohros came about and what Georgia did to grow the brand, especially with Instagram. We also talk about how she likes juggling Ohros with her day job – it’s really interesting and a nice way of approaching a passion project. We also talk about veganism and Georgia has some recommendations for films/personalities so listen out for those if you’re interested in finding out more. Hope you enjoy this – follow us on Instagram/Twitter/Youtube search “wriinkle”. Thanks for listening people :) Nice one! Anton music by Dyalla Swain https://soundcloud.com/dyallas
Thanks for listening! The subject for this one came about only in the last few days - I was at a party and bumped into someone I'd met once a few years ago, and it quickly became apparent that they remembered my name and I couldn't recall theirs. That feeling is terrible isn't it but at the same time your estimations of that other person goes up - so it's definitley something I want to avoid - I want to improve my memory. So I remembered that there's a book on the shelf in our gaff called 'Moonwalking with Einstein" and it's all about memory techniques and memory competition. So anyway, in this episode I talk about stuff that i've learned from this book and some other research about mempry techniques like the memory palace. Anyway, hope you enjoy this one, keeop getting in touch via our Instagram wriinkle or community@wriinkle.com Have you tried these techniques? Have you got another way of remembering people's names when you meet them? Or other memory tricks? Let us know.. Nice one! Anton :)
Thanks for listening! I mentioned in the previous episode that we've started a daily vlog - it's all about our journey on this wriinkle project. And it's fair to say it's been something that i've had to get my head around and bring myself to terms with. Talking to an inanimate object, looking down a lense or even just exposing parts of myself (ooh er) has been a fear that i've been abe to overcome, at least in some part, especially given the fact that we're actually a few episodes in. So this episode is all about facing your fears. It's about exposure therapy, which is basically facing your fear head on and experiencing the fear head on in ordder to ultimately overcome it. There's neuroscience behind it too - it's all to do with firing up the neural patterns associated with the given fear in order to re-weire your brain to get over it. Then we look into some of the more subtle ways our fears manifest themselves to hold us back from achieving the things we might want out of life. So we identify some key tell-tale signs of these less overt fears. Keep sending messages to us through Instgram https://www.instagram.com/wriinkle/ Also email community@wriinkle.com if you prefer. Let us know what you think of this subject of facing up to your fears - or unearthing the fears that are holding you back in someway - some first hand stories would be amazing to read and we'll start up one of our discussions off the back of these episodes. Anyway, hope you enjoy this one Nice one :) Anton
Thank you for listening to this new Short! So the idea for this episode actually came about the other day while I was getting some ideas together for that last episode on Flow states - so I was watching a talk at some biohacking conference on Youtube. And the person talking (biohacking expert; Maxillian Gotzer) mentioned how he thinks about something specific that he wants to get done the next day and he visualises it just before he goes to sleep and he says by doing this he’s letting his subconscious get to work while he’s asleep. This got us thinking about the subconscious and Joe was actually already reading "The Power of the Subconscious Mind" by Joseph Murphy. This episode is all about what we've learnt from this book and some other bits of research we've done - it's all about how we can harness our subconscious and work on it to improve our lives and get more out of ourselves. Find the book here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Power-Your-Subconscious-Mind/dp/9562912019 Let us know if you've looked into all of this stuff before - if you're employing some of these techniques to tap into/feed the subconscious. How's it going? What do you make of it all? Reach out to community@wriinkle.com or find us on Instagram - search "wriinkle" Hope you enjoy this one - have a great week :) Nice one! Anton music by Dyalla Swain https://soundcloud.com/dyallas
Here we go, another wriinkle short - thanks for listening! In the last wriinkle short we briefly referred to flow, or being in a flow state, when I was talking about being at your creative best. And it’s just something that interests us so much because it’s linked to one of the main visions for wriinkle – which is all about how we can find more happiness and fulfilment in life through the things we do. In this episode I explore what flow is exactly, where to find it, and how to get into more flow states in our lives. I refer to a guy called Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, he's the grand-daddy of research and exploration of flow theory. Check out his books at: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mihaly-Csikszentmihalyi/e/B00J4J5CFQ Also this Ted Talk on Biohacking and Flow is cool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAyWhTF3mYE Tell us about your experiences of flow - have you experienced flow in your life? Have you managed to cultivate flow states in new areas of your life? You've been getting in touch mainly via our Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wriinkle/?hl=en Also reach out on email community@wriinkle.com to discuss flow further with us. Have a good week and find more flow :) Nice one! Anton
Here we bleedn go - another wriinkle Short episode. We've proper loved making this last few Shorts - we're quite happy with how they've turned out but it's been the process of making them that's been the most fulfilling part - and that's a big part of what this is all about...the biggest. So, when it came to thinking about making this one and trying to pin down a subject to explore, we thought about how to maintain our momentum from putting the last few together and keeping that good vibe going - and so we referred to Creative Confidence again (a book by David and Tom Kelley, which we love) and a particular exercise cme to mind; Rate My Day! I talk about this little method in the episode and how it's helped me with making these podcasts and other ways i think we can use it to get more out ourselves and our lives. The Creative Confidence book can be found here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Creative-Confidence-Unleashing-Potential-Within-ebook/dp/B00CKE05ZY And the bit we're refering to here is on page 163 Let us know if you have tried something like this before, or if you give it a go after hearing this - what do you reckon on it? Get in touch - we've been loving the little discussions and bits of feedback we've had about the recent Shorts - so thank you :) Nice one! Anton
Thanks for listening - hope you enjoy this one as much as we did making it! So I was with some mates of mine last night and the company they work at has just announced massive changes and they’re all facing uncertainty about their jobs and their future. So naturally we spent the whole evening talking through everything. The parts of the conversation that stuck out to me was where people we're talking in impressive detail about future eventualities where things just don't turn out well for them. This got me thikning about the effect that these non-existent futures were having on them (i'm just as prone to this by the way). I was reminded of Dr Joe Disoenza's thinking/feeling loop (which we've talked about before) and how what we contemplate creates biochemical reactions that affect us physically and create real feelings - and then our brain responds to these feelings as an indication of our state of being. That's the loop and i'm worried my friends will get stuck in that while they're contemplating these negative outcomes. At the very least they're putting themselves through the stress of this negative eventuality - imagine if somehow a negative reality transpires - they will have been through the pain over and again! So this episode is me talking all of this through and trying to work out what's going on here. Thank you for your feedback on Monday's episode about me dealing with my daily anxieties after quitting my job - it's so much appreciated. Keep it coming and let me know what you think about this subject - do you agree with me? Do you think it's best to prepare for the worst? What's your approach to dealing with uncertainty about your future? Reach out to: community@wriinkle.com @wriinkle (Instagram & Twitter) Nice one :) Anton
Thanks for listening! This episode is a continuation/update on the Should You Quit Your Day Job? short that we released a week ago. I've been recording this on a Sunday and these days since leaving my full time day job and turning my daily/weekly routine on it's head, Sunday is a very weird day for me. In the past I’d just chill on most Sundays, there’s no pressure during the day – but now there’s always work to be done on wriinkle, there's always ideas forming, plans being made, improvements to make and anything that’s not done or improved on or created has such a significant bearing on the project. And when you’re steering your own ship and fully creating and planning your own workload those feelings of anxiety can carry on throughout the week. You can get to the end of your day and just feel underwhelmed by what you’ve achieved, or you can even be in the middle of your day and suddenly question and lose confidence in whatever it is that your doing and you start wondering whether you’re on the right track or you’re being productive enough. And as I’ve become conscious of these moments and these feelings I’ve looked into it more and stuff like loneliness, anxiety and even depression are commonly associated with entrepreneurship. However, the plan was always to draw personal value and inspiration from the full podcats episodes where we speak to inspirational people who have already embarked on - or are successful in - making their ambitions a reality. I would say every episode has at least some part where our guest provides super useful insight in takling these anxieties i've been experiencing. In this episode i've picked out a clip from #011with Danny Carr where he talks us through his process for planning, goal setting and gratitude that helps him feel like he's always on course to achieve his ambitions. Get in touch and let us know if you're facing similar challenges - or if you've found ways to negate them. Send comments or and questions to: community@wriinkle.com https://www.instagram.com/wriinkle/?hl=en https://twitter.com/wriinkle?lang=en Let us know what you reckon :) Nice one! Anton
Here’s another wriinkle Short, thanks for listening! In this one we’ll be taking a closer look at a bit from my conversation in the last podcast episode with Kirsty Doyle – when asked to pick out the qualities she’s had to show herself in pursuing her passion and making things happen with her business, Kirsty was so clear in her answers stating things like confidence, positivity and vision. The energy behind her answer and the qualities she picked out got me thinking about the term creative confidence. This term actually comes from a book called ‘Creative Confidence’ that we’ve all read and it’s played a big part in wriinkle’s early days. So we’ve put together this episode, delving into what Kirsty said a little more and introducing of Creative Confidence. For a start the authors are clear that the term creativity shouldn’t be confused with ‘being artistic’ – creativity is just our propensity to come to new ideas, ways of approaching things, negotiating situations, whatever. It’s certainly not a gift – as if some people are ‘creative’ and others aren’t. There’s a whole methodology which is detailed in Creative Confidence about how to tap into your creativity and how to approach it. Link to the book on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Creative-Confidence-Unleashing-Potential-within/dp/0008139385/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1528932447&sr=8-1&keywords=creative+confidence Also, here’s a Ted talk given by David Kelley – one of the two brothers who came up with Creative Confidence: https://www.ted.com/talks/david_kelley_how_to_build_your_creative_confidence Thank you to everyone that’s been talking to us about the last short on blue light and biohacking. The feedback has been really positive and even better the conversations we’ve been having about the subject has been great. So get in touch again and let us know what your thought of this episode and about the subject of creative confidence. community@wriinkle.com wriiinkle on Instagram/Twitter. Nice one! Anton
Welcome to episode 20!!! We’re made up we’ve reached the 20th episode! We'd like to say a huuuuge thank you to all of the guestes we've had so far and of course, all of YOU, the people who've listend and subscribed, and told other people and reviewed. It's so much appreciated and we know that this is just the start of the wriinkle project and we'll be making the conent better and better. Watch this space! This week we’re marking the occasion by bringing you a conversation we had with Kirsty Doyle. So Kirsty’s a fashion designer, she runs two businesses and also runs her own studio where she’s designing and manufacturing womenswear, kidswear, wedding dresses the lot…and we’ll hear all about the journey she’s been on in getting where she is…. but the most impressive thing is that she’s evidently a proper savvy and hardworking business person but at the same time is so humble & down to earth & has a laugh and that is a great combination of qualities – so we all came away from recording this episode feeling inspired to approach our own projects in the same way that Kirsty does. Let us know what you think of this - we're loving all your messages and your ideas for new guests and subject areas - keep it coming, we'll get round to replying to everyone. Reach out on our Instagram or community@wriinkle.com. Have a look at Kirsty Doyle and her amazing work at: https://www.kirsty-doyle.com/ https://www.instagram.com/kirstydoyle/?hl=en Hope you enjoy this - we loved making it :) Nice one Anton
Thanks for listening! Since we did the 'Sleep On It' episode a little while back, we're finding ourselves still thinking about sleep and the role it plays in health, recovery, wellbeing etc - and so this episode is building on the sleep subject. Blue Light is a natural frequency of light that we're supposed to be exposed to mainly from the sun - it sets our body clock. However, in the modern world we're exposed to unprecedented amounts of intsnse blue light at all sorts of unnatural times of the day - this is via stuff like modern light bulbs, LED lights, smartphones, tablets, televisions, computer monitor, the lot! In this we expolore what's going on here and some ways that we can help limit this over exposure to blue light. We also talk about red light (which is something I didn't know about before looking into this all further). If you want to find out more, there's loads of stuff on Google - in particular I mention a blog called Primal Hacker: https://primalhacker.com/blog Also reach out and we'll share all the info we've found so far. Find us at: community@wriinkle.com https://www.instagram.com/wriinkle/ https://twitter.com/wriinkle?lang=en Thanks for listening, keep getting in touch, we're loving all your messages. Your encouragement and feedback is so appreciated, thank you:) Have a good day! Anton
This Short is based on what's going on in our lives at the moment. We're interested in your feedback on the subject of whether people should quit their day jobs to go at making their start-up happen or to focus all their energy on a creative or an entrepreneurial pursuit, or whatever it is. Youtube is full of conent about this subject and parts of it encourages us to go for it. In the last wriinkle podcast we spoke to Enass; she said she quit her full time job to kick start her career in interior design - she then spent 2 months where she read, researched and studied the interior design landscape, inspired herself and worked on it all to the point where she took on her first big job. After a while and after completing a few more paid projects she came to a decision - to take on full time work again and pursue her own business, Decor By Enass, along side that. The caveat for her was that the full time job needed to be conducive to her own business. It needed to be aligned or even helpful in some way. And that’s Enass’s approach, it works for her. So maybe theres no right or wrong here, we just have to find what works best for us. Get in touch - we'd love to start another debate and hear what people think about this - have you gone for it? Quit a career to go after something else? Or have you found another route, like Enass did? What works for you? What challenges are you facing? Do you think I ask too many questions? Get on us: community@wriinkle.com https://www.instagram.com/wriinkle/ Nice one! Anton
Thanks so much for listening to episode 19! So excited to publish this episode with Enass beacuase it was one that just resonated with us so much. Enass describes how a year and a half ago she handed in her notice to her full time job so that she could take some time to develop her own interior design career and business. Before that point she’d spent 8 years doing internships and different jobs, all in and around design and creative, so that she could properly explore the field and eventually pinpoint exactly what she could focus on – that’s how she discovered her passion for interior design and founded her business Decor By Enass. https://www.decorbyenass.com Enass has since found a nice balance between building her business and holding down a full time job so that she can support herself and Decor By Enass during this early phase. The key for her is that the job is related to interior design and conducive to her passions and business. There are so many "entrepreneurs" and "coaches" out there who are preaching that people should quit their jobs to pursue their dreams and if they don't they're somehow not serious about their craft. It was refreshing for us to speak to Enass and hear her thoughts and experiences and how she doesn’t necessarily think that it's a good idea to throw all your eggs in one basket, potentially live on the breadline and dedicate all of your time to building your career/business. She's found the balance...and it works for her! Find out more about Enass and Décor By Enass on Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/decor_by_enass/ Also watch the full episode on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmWMCFPSkNyHFcko0G6g4QQ Enjoy and let us know what you think, we love engaging with people of the back of these episodes :) Nice one! We’re wrinkle, a community of like-minded people who work together, build on ideas and make stuff happen, all to lead a more fulfilled lifestyle. Thanks for joining us for episode 18 of the podcast. This week we’re speaking to Alex Manzi of Dreamers Disease. He’s a podcaster, public speaker and Social Media Producer for BBC Radio 1 Xtra. Just when we were starting out we come across Alex and Dreamers Disease, and have since linked up on a few occasions and have shared plenty of ideas. Alex is a great example of someone who’s just gone out there and done it. We went through loads in this episode including: Leaving school not knowing what he wanted to do What lead him to getting his job at 1xtra Dreamers Disease – where it come from and where it’s going If you don’t already, check out Alex on Instagram and Twitter (@iamalexmanzi/@the_dreamersdisease) and give his podcast a listen if you aren’t already tuning in – it’s boss!! As always we love your feedback – we’ve had some great comments and messages recently and we love discussing the subjects we cover in the podcasts. Keep the messages coming on on Instagram and Twitter – and if you don’t follow us yet, just search wriinkle. Also reach out to us at community@wriinkle.com to find out more about our project. Thanks for listening! We're Wriinkle - a community of like-minded people who work together, build on ideas and make stuff happen - all to lead a more fulfilled lifestyle. In this one we're discussing meditation and how we’ve been trying to get into it recently. I’m prone to drowning myself in anxiety from time to time, I’ll also find myself struggling to ‘live in the moment’ – like even when I’m having the best time, I’ll think about the future and just get stressed for no reason. I also find myself worrying and feeling proper sad about things that haven’t even happened – things like how I’m going to deal with losing the people I’m close to. And I know meditation is the solution – but I’m finding it so hard to get to grips with. I have a conversation with Joe about how his approach to meditation has been formed and what his understanding is of it all. We talk about Dr Joe Dispenza's book "Becoming Supernatural" - here's a link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Becoming-Supernatural-Common-People-Uncommon-ebook/dp/B0746RN3G7 Let us know if you're trying to get into it, or if you are already. How's it going? Any tips? We love hearing from you and getting into discussions when you get in touch - reach through on our Instagram or community@wriinkle.com Enjoy :) Anton
Thanks for listening! We're talking about sleep in this Wriinkle Short episode and we were inspired to make this for two reasons. Firstly, I really struggle to sleep a lot of the time and even more often than that I don't seem to get quality sleep. There is also a narrative that exists surrounding highly prevalent, 'successful' people which pushes the idea that hard work and success comes from relentless work, late nights and ridiculous early starts. The other reason we were inspired to do this podcast is a Neuroscientist/sleep expert Matthew Walker - his book "Why We Sleep" and appearance on JRE has brought the subject of sleep into the mainstream recently. He goes into detail on exactly what goes on when we sleep, what constitutes a 'quality sleep' and why it's so important to sleep properly. This is so healthy and hopefully off the back of information from people like Matthew Walker we can start to be more responsible about giving ourselves the opportunity to get the sleep we need and reduce the stigma around 'working tirelessly'. Like with all of our Shorts - we're simply bending you on to interesting subjects and so we'd fully recommend looking into this subject for yourself. Here's the book: http://amzn.eu/8eDx6Bj Here's Matthew on The Joe Rogan Experience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwaWilO_Pig Reach out as always, we love hearing from you and getting stuck into subjects like this - let us know what you think about this episode and share your experiences with getting good sleep (or not). Nice one! Anton
Thanks for joining us for episode 17! This week we’re speaking to Scotty Stacks – he’s one third of The Manor. They’re a group that fuse elements of hip hop, grime, indie to deliver tunes that Scotty says “celebrate normal life”. The thing that seems to have set them apart maybe above anything else though is the cult following that they’ve built up. They recently sold out the O2 Forum Kentish Town – a couple of us went along and the vibe that they created was undeniable. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that The Manor is responsible for a kind of subculture of it’s own It was clear from speaking to Scotty that The Manor’s approach to creating music and culture is reflected in his own life. Focused, always taking opportunities to learn, ambitious yet there are no pretentions with Scotty – he opens up about his thoughts on subjects like: growing up at odds with the education system mental health and masculinity leading an entrepreneurial lifestyle manifesting your ideas Leave us your feedback about this one – we’ve had some great comments and messages recently and we love discussing the subjects we cover in the podcasts. Contact us on Instagram and Twitter – just search wriinkle. Also reach out at community@wriinkle.com Thanks for listening – you can also watch on Youtube, if you’re not already. Nice one! Anton
In this Wriinkle Short we’re talking about the benefits of exercise on your brain and your mind – so all the good stuff you’ll experience outside of the physical benefits of being fit and feeling more self-confident etc. We all know this stuff and we know exercising makes us feel better – it’s always “I’m glad I did that” afterwards, especially after building it up in your head and even dreading it before hand. So if we know it’s good, then we do a lot of us still struggle to motivate ourselves to get active. Well we thought that if we look into what’s exactly going on in our brain when we exercise then it might help us to take action. We never want to preach on the podcast, we like to put you on the path to discovering more about subjects like this by bending you on to stuff we’ve found useful. In this one I’ll reference: Book Spark: How exercise will improve the performance of the brain Author: Dr John J Ratey Link: https://tinyurl.com/y8n5hcao TED Talk Wendy Suzuki: The brain changing benefits of exercise Link: https://www.ted.com/talks/wendy_suzuki_the_brain_changing_benefits_of_exercise Let us know what you think about this subject – what is your experience of exercising and the effects it does or doesn’t have cognitively. Thanks for clicking on this and welcome to episode 16 of the Wriinkle Podcast! We’re speaking to Micaela in this one – she tells us all about how she’s changed her career path from working for a start-up in the city to launching her own upholstery business. She runs Sharp & Simpson with her business partner Steve, who she first connected with when she attended his upholstery workshop when she was getting to grips with upholstery as a potential career. She tells us all about the steps she took to make this huge change, how she’s finding working for herself, leveraging new technology to fill in any gaps in her skillset and also shares some tips for other people thinking about doing it too. We went to the Relentless Number 5 on Denmark Street to celebrate the launch of Dotty’s new record – London Livin: A Collection Of Sounds – it’s just out now on Spotify, Tidal, iTunes and wherever you get your music. Dotty spoke to us back in episode 4 of the podcast and it was boss to catch up with him on the eve of the release and to see how he’s just continuing to grow and crack on, just like he told us when we first met him. We managed to catch him for a few words on the night – you’ll hear a clip from when he’s just come off stage. We always seem to come away from speaking to Dotty really mulling over some of the things he says, the way he talks even in normal conversation really resonates just in the same way his lyrics do. Find “London X Living: A Collection Of Sounds” on Spotify Tidal iTunes …and wherever you get your music basically This interview (plus other footage from the night) is available on our Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmWMCFPSkNyHFcko0G6g4QQ/videos Check out our Instagram too for more content from the night. Thanks for listening! After the interest people showed in podcast #013 about chiropractic, this Wriinkle Short is all about the stuff we learned from speaking to Dr Tom and also the other thoughts it’s inspired since. We’ve picked out a couple of clips from the podcast episode that most of you were commenting on where he tells us about micro-traumas and poor posture. We’re putting ourselves in bad body positions everyday, like when we’re bowing our heads over our phones and computers all the time. From what Dr Tom is telling us, this is directly affecting our health and in particular our brain function. Some of you linked this to body language and the power that it seemingly holds. So this got us thinking more about body language and maybe how you can proactively use your body to affect your mind-set. There’s a boss Ted Talk where Amy Cuddy, a social psychologist, talks about body language and the relationship between the mind and body. She goes into detail about experiments she’s been a part of where they’re proving that the way in which we hold ourselves can have a significant effect on how confident or stressed we might feel and then also even our propensity for success. She even talks about power posing for 2 minutes before big moments like job interviews. Wriinkle Podcast #015! Quick bit of housekeeping; Wriinkle Podcasts will be coming out every other Monday from now on but we’ll be bringing you more stuff with different types of podcasts being released in between WPs (also keep your eye on our Youtube channel). More details very soon. In this one we’re speaking to Ben Sharples from MiC LOWRY – they’re a vocal harmony boy band from Liverpool. Ben talks to us about the lads getting signed by a major record label before they’d had a chance to properly start making music of their own. He’s very candid about the amazing experiences they’ve had from that point to now but also about the less positive aspects of being picked up by a commercial entity at such an early stage. Some funny stories in this about the situations they’ve found themselves in and some great insight in to the kind of stuff that goes on at the upper echelons of the entertainment industry. Thanks for listening We're bringing you a Wriinkle Short this week while we have a short break in our usual podcast proceedings. So many people have listened to #014 and sent so many messages of support, questions and feedback to both us and Zach. One of the parts that seemed to resonate with so many of you was where Zach was talking about when he first managed to foster a Flicker (small contraction) in his thigh by consciously trying to send signals from his brain to his legs. Off the back of that we’ve been talking to Zach about Neuroplasticity and looking into what it’s all about and how is can be harnessed to create positive changes to your brain and it’s function. I’m no expert so this is purely an introduction for those of you that haven’t got round to looking into neuroplasticity. It's episode 14, thanks for joining us! This is the 3rd of our 3 Barcelona podcasts. It feels like a particularly important one for us becuase we're speaking to our mate Zach. Zach is an athlete and he's currently preparing for the London Marathon. Doing a marathon is a huge deal for anyone but in Zach's case it holds extra significance. In 2012 Zach was on a coach that crashed on the way back to Liverpool from Bestival on the Isle of Wight. As a result he suffered a severe spinal injury - in short; a severed spinal cord. Zach tells us in detail how he has gone from being repeatedly told by doctors that there was no way he would walk again to completing a half marathon on his feet and in a position where he's training for a full marathon. Thanks for joining us. This is the second of our 3 episode mini-series from our trip to Barcelona. We went out there to meet interesting people, sample the culture (try a few cervezas) and explore new ideas. In this one me and Woodie speak to Dr Thomas Marshall. He's a chiropractor based in Barcelona and it's fair to say he turned us on to some incredibly interesting and life-changing ideas around the innate power of Chiropractic care. Tom talks about how he practices Chiropractic to enable his patients to realise their potential in health, happiness and brain function. Basiclally, if you thought Chiropractic was all about getting rid of back and neck pain...think again! Thanks for joining us for episode 12! This is the first of a 3 episode series recorded while we were in Barcelona. It was great to get over there and experience the culture, explore new ideas and meet some really cool, interesting people. For this episode, we're sitting down with Joel Jaggar and Gill Siddle who took the plunge and left their 9-5 lives in London to move to Barcelona and concentrate on running their club night - Love Come Down. Love Come Down is a disco fuelled night where the focus is purely on the music and atmosphere - Gill & Joel started off throwing a New Years Eve party and caught the bug from there. They've now run 20 LCD nights (so far) and are hitting music festivals this summer. Thanks for listening! We’re speaking to entrepreneur and professional sportsperson Danny Carr this week. Danny is running a fast growing business, Athletes Kitchen, with his business partner and mate Sonny – he’s also a pro boxer who is 8 fights into his career and unbeaten. This all started under 3 years ago when Danny decided to free himself from his 9-5 job in the city and pursue his passions. He’s taken control of his life and we hear all about it in this episode. Danny gives us details on some techniques he’s developed to help him do all of this. This episode is boss! We reference a few books but mainly: The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment by Eckhart Tolle https://www.amazon.co.uk/Power-Now-Guide-Spiritual-Enlightenment/dp/0340733500/ref=la_B001H6GZ5K_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1518989363&sr=1-1 We film these for Youtube too – search Wriinkle Also check our Instagram out @wriinkle Hope you enjoy this one Nice one! Wriinkle Podcast #010 is here! Thanks for joining us again, if this is your first episode - Welcome! Each week we like to bring you inspirational, entertaining and hopefully even valuable conversations with people pursuing their passions. Some of our guests are juggling a day job with doing what they love, some have managed to get to a place where they’re following their passions full time and others are still trying to work it all out. In this episode we’re so happy to bring you a conversation with Erin Corrian-Alexis. Erin is an artist and Product Designer but her main thing is creating amazing footwear. We went and met her for this podcast at a small studio that she's working out of in East London. At the moment she’s spending evenings and weekends there creating shoes for a London Fashion Week show. She does all of this around her day job where she’s also gaining valuable fashion industry knowledge. Erin’s attitude and vibe is just boss and we all hit it off off right away when we met her just a few weeks before recording this. Just want to say a massive thank you to Erin for letting us pop in and speak to her, we had a great time. Check her out on Instagram: @erincalexis Can’t wait to see where Erin takes things in 2018! We'll keep you all updated. Thanks for joining us! In this episode we're speaking to Apple Zappa. She runs her own clothing line (Bone Idol), is building momentum as a DJ and also makes her own music. She tells us about how she's changed her mindset recently - where she sets mini goals for herself that allows her to keep making progress in her passions while juggling it all with her day job. We also go into detail on how exactly she goes about marketing and selling her clothes. We love this episode because there's a really nice contrast to last week - Joe & Jordan have managed to build their company to the point where they're travelling the world to keep growing. Whereas Apple is still at an early stage where she's working out where she actually wants to take things and how she's going to do it. Plus, like everyone we speak to, she's just enjoying the process and we got the impression that it is all about the journey and not the destination for her. Apple mentioned the book #Girlboss by Sophia Amarouso - it's all about how Sophia went from being a high-school droupout to CEO of the fastest growing retail company in the world: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Girlboss-Sophia-Amoruso/dp/0241217938 Also check Apple out on: Insta: applezappa Twitter: @applezappa APPLEZAPPA.COM Also check her clothing line out at: http://www.boneidolclothing.co.uk/ Insta: boneidolofficial Hope you enjoy this - let us know what you think! Thanks for listening! This is our fourth Wriinkle Short Networking is so important but it can be really hard - we've picked a clip from the forthcoming Wriinkle Podcast where our guest, Apple, tells us a little trick she uses to make sure she doesn't miss out on networking opportunities. Me and my mate Michael also discuss some good networking bits we've experienced or heard about. Looking forward to releasing the full podcast with Apple Zappa - she's a DJ, runs her own clothing brand and will be releasing music this year. We get in to how she's growing her apparel brand, how she started the ball rolling with her DJing and we talk about the peculiar things she comes across in her day job. From starting off delivering sports/activity sessions to young kids around their studies, right through to now where LLS is a global operation helping young people gain the skills to build a career in sports coaching, delivering world class sports tours and also forming links with huge sporting institutions. Thanks for listening to the third Wriinkle Short! We've picked out a little 2 minute clip from Wriinkle Podcast #008 with Joe & Jordan. They're entrepreneurs who went to school together and then formed a partnership which has seen them take their company (LLS) to locations around the world like Helsinki, Qatar, Kampala and Madrid, to name a few. Looking forward to releasing the full episode to you in a few days’ time - we get stuck in to how they started, the challenges they've faced, dealing with failure, scaling their business, networking and managing to stay friends despite the pressures that come with growing a company. In this clip Jordan is talking about the challenge of going all the way to places like Qatar to deliver a presentation and having to perform well and get the results that are needed. He's stepping out of his comfort zone to allow the business to keep progressing. Me and my mate Michael also discuss our thoughts on stepping out of our comfort zones. Hope you enjoy it - let us know what you think! Nice one Anton
