Betty and Dan Broderick were a golden couple in San Diego, CA. He, a powerful attorney; she, a devoted, fun-loving wife and mother of four. But when Dan turned 40 he became a cliche. He bought a Corvette, fell for his much younger legal assistant, and left Betty after 16 years of marriage. Their bitter six-year divorce became the most contentious in San Diego County history, a battle over money, custody, and control. In this episode we're diving deep down into the dark and seedy world of adult animation. Helluva Boss is an adult animated cartoon about 3 demons, Blitzo, Moxxie and Millie who work at a company called I.M.P which stands for Immediate Murder Professionals. These demons live in one of the seven rings of Hell and murder people in the living world. Hazbin Hotel is another animated series, set in the same universe as Helluva Boss and came out at the same time. In it, fallen angel Lucifer's daughter, Charlie Morningstar attempts to rehabilitate the souls of sinners in Hell. Charlie hopes she can give these souls a chance to ascend to Heaven. On April 3, 2004, 23 year old Alonzo Brooks left his home in Gardner Kansas with three friends to attend a party. He said goodbye to his mother, Maria,  and hopped into a friends car. This was the last time Alonzo's mother would ever see him alive.  The next day when Alonzo hadn't returned home, Maria knew something was wrong, she contacted his friends and tried to retrace his steps to see where he could be. Instead of finding her son however, Maria discovered a tangled web of disjointed. It seems that Alonzo was left alone at a party an hour away with no car and no way to get home. After a month long police investigation turns up nothing, Alonzo's family organized their own search. Scarcely an hour into their search, in an area that had been cleared many times, Alonzo's family discovered his body. How does a person disappear without a trace, only to reappear a month later as if by magic, dead? This was seemingly an open and shut libel case between an elderly Hungarian Jew and Israeli government official, Israel Rudolph Kastner. Yet somehow the trial caused a government fallout, brought David Ben-Gurion out of retirement and led to Israel's first political assassination.
