The fourth and final event of the 2026 United States Pro Kart Series took the program to a new location for an inaugural event. The Lake Erie Grand Prix was held at the new Lorain Ohio KartPlex in Lorain, Ohio over the weekend of September 18-20. Just over 130 entries battled in the seven race groups to claim the final victories of the season and settle the championships for the 14th year of the program. First trip out of Australia at 23, on a Contiki with 14 Aussie blokes in the Austrian ski town of Hopfgarten. Dead bar, a house drink called a fruit salad, a Stratocaster on the stage, and the moment Geordie started playing Highway to Hell a whole bus of Australians walked through the door.
