Sales are slow. Selling takes time. The process is unpredictable.” We've all heard these words, and maybe even said them. But they're simply not true. Even the most complex-seeming sales processes can be simplified. There are two things that impact how fast a sale happens: your confidence and your process. Most sales teams lack both. Brian Cristiano, CEO of Manhattan-based sports ad agency BOLD Worldwide, started his first business when he was 16 and has since built two multimillion-dollar companies. Over the past two years, Brian has developed a sales process that has helped him grow the agency 5x. In addition to helping his clients market and grow their companies, Brian works with sports brands and teams, training their sales forces on how to do the same.Check out upcoming DigiMarCon Digital Marketing, Media, and Advertising Conferences & Exhibitions Worldwide at https://digimarcon.com/events/
Does anyone actually read that print magazine you're advertising in? How about those TV commercials you're dumping your budget into? The smartphone is known as the “second screen”, but is that true or is it really number one? Traditional advertising still outweighs social media when it comes to marketing spending – does that mean traditional has more value, or will social win by knockout? Brian Cristiano, CEO of the Manhattan-based sports ad agency, BOLD Worldwide digs into the reality in an unapologetic, energetic keynote that uncovers the real value of each and what marketers can do to have a real advantage.Check out upcoming DigiMarCon Digital Marketing, Media, and Advertising Conferences & Exhibitions Worldwide at https://digimarcon.com/events/

"And then somebody comes by, stops, looks me in the eye and goes, 'Wow! You can do it, buddy!' And it was in that moment I realized that I wasn't running. I also realized I wasn't jogging. I was barely walking. I looked down, and the tops of my shoes are scraping the ground — one slow movement after the next slow movement. And people genuinely thought I had a serious medical condition, and that I was being a hero and a trooper by getting out there." Three years ago, my now-husband, Brian Cristiano, and I lined up at the start of two very different Turkey Trots. Though both races were five miles, the outcomes were vastly dissimilar. I ran the Prospect Park Track Club Turkey Trot in Brooklyn, NY, in a respectable 38:41 — a 7:44 minute-per-mile pace. Meanwhile, in Rhode Island, Brian was racing the Newport Pie Run. Episode Show Notes What does it take to build a successful business? Scratch that. What does it take to build a 9-figure business?!? We are getting real now. It is simple. Stop trying to know everything and START taking action. You can learn more from bad experiences (such as being dead broke) over reading a book or paying for a class. Yes, education and learning is important but it pales in comparison to action. In this week’s podcast, I interview self-made millionaire Brian Cristiano. Brian is the Founder & CEO of BOLD Worldwide, Entrepreneur, Keynote Speaker, Marketing Expert and Creator of the Docu-Series: Growing BOLD. His focus is building a $100,000,000+ Marketing & Media Company. How do you swallow an elephant? One bite at a time. That is how Brian is striving to obtain his goal. One action at a time. In this podcast, you will learn that launching a successful digital campaign is a very important component for business growth and an action that is necessary to put gas on your growth fire. It’s very easy for entrepreneurs to forget who their customers actually are. The biggest win is starting with knowing who your core customers are and their values and then taking massive action to solve their problems. Understanding your customer requires interacting with your audience and looking at data. You need to be aware of customer values and what drives them. How did you retain them in the first place? Through customer service? Prices? Focus on how you can make those components bigger and better and tell a story around it. The key is to retain your customers. Where most entrepreneurs go wrong is that they spend too much time focusing on tactics such as what’s the cost per lead, and not enough time actually focusing on their customers and taking action to get that first lead. And second lead, and third, and 10th, and 1,000th…... Customers are marketing geniuses. If you market based off customer needs, you skip the guessing game. That is the biggest game changer. Your marketing campaign will become more successful the more you stop making it about you and what your selling, and start focusing on what you can do for your customers. If you are ready to level up your marketing campaign and take action towards solving your customer’s problem, then you are on the path to 9-figures! In this episode you will learn... -> Why it is important to focus on customer needs in order to launch a successful marketing campaign-> How to retain your customers-> Why it’s important to study your customer to grow your business-> How to be successful in starting a business Quotes: “Stop selling the features and start selling the outcome - understand your customer to actually sell the outcome” “Are you driving a deal or something intriguing enough that the rest of the market isn’t?” “The real win is starting from who your core customers and what are their values?” Question: What do your customers really want?

Lots of people say I’m just like my mom. Others swear I’m a clone of my dad. On this episode, you’ll get to decide! I am thrilled to welcome Lori and David Feller — my parents! — to the Ali on the Run Show. On this episode, we chat about how they met and fell in love (and their stories don’t exactly match up, so I’m siding with my mom on this one), how they survived long-distance dating in college when social media and texting didn’t exist (there was hitchhiking involved), and what it was like having and raising Ryan (my 19-months-older brother) and me. They share their favorite young Ali memories, as well as a few not-so-favorite ones (that speeding ticket wasn't my fault!). We had a blast recording this episode, and I hope you enjoy joining us on our trip down Feller family memory lane. What you’ll get on this episode: My mom’s story of how my parents met and when they fell in love (2:40) My dad’s story of how they met and fell in love (4:10) What it was like long-distance dating in the 1970s, and how they made it work (6:00) How my dad proposed to my mom (9:43) Their thoughts on whether it was a big deal for a Jewish guy to be marrying a Catholic girl, and whether their parents cared (12:50) What life was like for each of them once they had kids, and what got them to move from Pennsylvania to Contoocook, NH (18:30) My exciting birth story! I’m fresh off a life-changing trip to California, where I spent a week road tripping from San Francisco to Los Angeles — alone. I learned a lot about myself on this trip. My only goal was to surround myself with beautiful things. I went in with no expectations and an open mind, and by the time I flew back home, I felt lighter, happier, and more fulfilled than I have in years — or maybe ever. So on this special bonus episode, we’re flipping the script: This time, I’m in the hot seat, and my husband Brian is taking over the hosting duties. He asks all the hard, insightful, let’s-really-get-into-it questions (including why I really booked this trip, why I never give myself credit for my successes, and why I often say no to things without considering the potential amazing outcomes), and I enjoyed digging a little deeper into my feelings, thoughts, beliefs, and dreams. Three years ago, my now-husband Brian Cristiano and I lined up at the start of two very different Turkey Trots. Though both races were five miles, the outcomes were vastly dissimilar. I ran the Prospect Park Track Club Turkey Trot in Brooklyn, NY, in a respectable 38:41—a 7:44 minute per mile pace. Meanwhile, in Rhode Island, Brian was racing the Newport Pie Run. Here’s a dramatic retelling of how his race went, plus a very special Thanksgiving-themed Sprint to the Finish.
