In this episode I was joined by the extremely talented 1x LPGA Tour winner & star of Netflix Series 'The Short Game' Alexa Pano as we find out what she thought about her 2024 having played roughly 28 events it was her toughest one yet but highlights from 2024 include 2nd at Tournament of Champions at Lake Nona in Janaury while challenging at AIG Women's Open in August on the week of her 20th Birthday! Alexa has had an unorthodox route into the game of Golf having been a part of The Short Game on Netflix at 7 years old which focused on 2012 US Kids Junior Championship which would give her some fame, while Alexa was also a 3x National Finalist for Drive, Chip & Putt, she made her LPGA of Japan debut in 2016 at 11 years old & made her LPGA debut at 13 years old at Thornberry Classic. Alexa would turn professional at 17 years old and had success on Epson Tour in 2022 before gaining LPGA Tour card in 2023 fast forward to summer 2023 and on her 19th Birthday Pano would win on the LPGA Tour at ISPS Handa World Invitational at Galgorm Castle in Northern Ireland coming from behind on Sunday to beat both Gabs Cowley & Esther Henseleit in a Playoff. I hope you all enjoy as Alexa was brilliant in this episode! Be sure to like, subscribe, rate and review on Apple Podcasts & Podbean!
As the Ladies European Tour (LET) takes a little break before heading Down Under, this week we're joined by Gabs Cowley who had her best-ever season on Tour in 2023.When she was growing up Gabs played lots of sports and she talks us through why she chose golf over cricket and football, as well as when she became friends with fellow LET player Annabel Dimmock. The English star also speaks candidly about the play-off at the ISPS Handa World Invitational and the work she has put in on her mental game, as well as her secret talents on the padel court... In another Chasing Pars player exclusive interview sponsored by Golf Tips Checker I was absolutely delighted to be joined by 1x LPGA Tour winner, 5x Ladies European Tour winner & 2023 Solheim Cup star Maja Stark who becomes my 25th Professional Player interview. In this brilliant episode with Maja we find out about her background growing up in the village of Abbekås in Sweden growing up with an older brother they would play competitively in most things against each other. We find out that Maja was in the same year & went to the same school as none other than Ludvig Åberg & Linn Grant while Madelene Sagstrom was also at the same school in Helsingborg. Craig asks some quick fire questions to find out more about Maja with a nice little discussion on ABBA (Why Not?). It was at the age of 15 where Maja would start to get noticed by Top Swedish Coaches & managed to get into university at Oklahoma State University where she was a First Team All American & won 2021 Big 12 Championship with Oklahoma State. Other Amateur accolades include being on the 2017 Junior Solheim Cup Team for Europe, Winning the European Girls Amateur Team Champs with Sweden, winning European Amateur Team Champs 3 times with Sweden & being a part of the successful International side at 2020 Palmer Cup at Bay Hill. Maja turned Professional in 2021 & since then she's been relentless when it comes to getting wins with 6 wins in a 2 year spell on LET Tour & which includes the win in 2022 at the Co-sanctioned ISPS Handa World Invitational at Galgorm Castle which would help secure full LPGA Tour status. 2023 was a decent year for Maja with T2nd at Tournament of Champions in the opening event & T4th at both Honda LPGA Thailand & Women's Scottish Open events. Maja would win Lalla Meryem Cup on the LET beating Linn Grant by 4 shots & would also get to play in her first Solheim Cup for Team Europe at Finca Cortesin contributing to 2 & a half points for Europe on Debut. An experience that Maja says she will never forget. As Tournament of Champs starts up next week I ask Maja about her goals going forward for 2024 with making back to back Solheim Cup teams the top of her list along with the Majors. We mention about Maja & Linn's friendship but eagerness to beat each other every time on the Golf course & we also talk late about what to expect from WAGR number 1 Ingrid Lindblad and what the future holds for Ingrid when she does finally turn pro. It was amazing to speak to one of the best players in the world again & to try and process what goals they try to achieve & what obstacles they have to overcome to achieve them. Maja was a lovely person with an even better Golf game & is a future Major Champion in waiting! Please Like, Download & Subscribe on Podbean & Spotify I want this episode to reach as many people as possible!

In the return of the DP World Tour it was a comprehensive runaway victory for Englishman Daniel Brown who went wire to wire to win ISPS Handa World Invitational by 5 shots after having a 6 shot lead in both R3 & R4 it was a first win as a pro for Brown while on the PGA Tour at BMW Championship it was an incredible 61 from Viktor Hovland that including a back 9 of 28 shots to win by 2 heading into East Lake. It was a naff week with only Marcus Helligkilde sharing a place at 40/1 in T4th alongside 4 others while Rasmus Neergaard Petersen challenged after 36 holes then faded away slightly over the weekend! Moving onto this week where it's a good field for D+D Real Czech Masters with big permutations for the Ryder Cup seeing the likes of Lowry, Aberg, The Hojgaard's, MacIntyre & Yannik Paul all playing as they look to impressive captain Luke Donald this week at Albatross Golf Resort. Albatross is a long golf course mainly focused on Driving Distance which is massively advantageous while other shorter hitters with amazing short game can also compete. I am again joined by Nigel @GolfNutter3 to go over this week's event in Prague as we go over the top of the market which includes an invitation for the Belgian sensation that is Adrien Dumont Du Chassart. Listen in to see what we think this week! Enjoy

This week, Tom and Brad break down this week's DP World Tour and PGA Tour events. In Europe we have essentially a low-grade DP World Tour event, with some of the best Challenge Tour players from 2023, whilst on the PGA Tour we are in the business-end of the season, where just 50 players compete for the BMW Championship. As ever we highly recommend you check out Tour-Tips.com for all the relevant statistics required to make informed selections each week. Check out www.tour-tips.com for all subscription categories and rates.
In another player interview today I Craig am joined by this year's winner of the Irish Challenge on the Challenge Tour Brandon Robinson Thompson who calls in from the site of this week's ISPS Handa World Invitational event from Galgorm Castle where Brandon would win The Country Garage BMW Northern Irish Open at Galgorm Castle defeating Mitch Waite to secure an invite into the ISPS Handa World Invitational. It's been a monumental rise in the summer this year for Robinson Thompson having finished 2nd in Open Qualifying at Royal Porthcawl to qualify for the 151st Open Championship at Royal Liverpool where he would make the weekend and finish T59th a memory that still leaves good memories for Brandon the week before winning the Irish Challenge with his fiancée on the bag! While actively searching for invites this year Brandon would start this year on the MENA Tour where in his 2nd start there he would win Egyptian Swing No.2 at Madinaty Golf Club followed by successful trips T8/T5 in Malaysia Swing at Els Club then a T7th in Thailand! Then would earn 8 starts on the Clutch Tour winning 3 times in 8 events winning at Tandridge, County Garage BMW NI Open at Galgorm & at Machynys in Wales. In this short episode we speak about his last 2 events at Newmachar for Scottish Challenge (T3rd, 64 on Sunday) and the challenges of British Challenge at St Mellion (T30th, 78 on Sunday) as well as how he is feeling ahead of this week event in Northern Ireland where Brandon is in bullish mood quietly fancying his chances. Let's show some support for BRT & I wish him all the best for the rest of the season! Enjoy!
The DP World Tour returns this week after it's 4 week layoff after The Open Championship at Royal Liverpool and the Barracuda at Tahoe. While I've been busy with player interviews it's good to have the main reason we do this back and that is chat DP World Tour golf! This week I am joined for the first time by Nigel who is better known on Twitter as @GolfNutter3 calling in all the way from Brisbane, Australia to chat this week's ISPS Handa World Invitational presented by AVIV Clinics in co-sanction with the Ladies European Tour at Galgorm Castle in Antrim, Ballymena 30 mins outside of Belfast! This 7,200 yard Simon Gidman design opened in 1997 & has played host to Galgorm Open on Challenge Tour in 2018 won by Calum Hill and has been a mixture of Challenge Tour & more recently DP World Tour host to the ISPS Handa World Invitational since 2019 with its initial inception on the CT in 2019 where Jack Senior won, John Catlin won the 2020 Irish Open here at Galgorm Castle, while Dan Gavins & Ewen Ferguson have won the last 2 editions at both -13 & -12 respectively so expect more of the same a tougher test! Check out who Craig & Nigel fancy for this week's tournament at Galgorm where we both have a consensus pick & agree on a couple of other longer shots! I want to thank Nigel for taking the time out (night time in Aus) to chat with me for the first time on Chasing Pars! Enjoy!

What a week that was. Tom and Elliott look back on Tiger Woods' horrific car accident and ask what next for the 15-time Major winner. Is his career finished? Or will he be able to come back? As well as plenty of Tiger chat, we look back on the brilliant WGC-Workday Championship at The Concession, hear from Niall Horan on the new ISPS Handa World Invitational, and much more. Enjoy!
