JD Beach is back as a full-time MotoAmerica Superbike racer for the 2024 season and he couldn't be happier. Armed with a Tytlers Cycle Racing BMW M 1000 RR, Beach is confident of being in the fight at the front of the Steel Commander Superbike pack when the series gets rolling at Road Atlanta in April, and he can't wait for the season to get started. We caught up with Beach from his rental house in Florida where he has been training with former flat track teammate Dallas Daniels and others to chat about the coming season, his new bike and much more on this week's episode of Off Track With Carruthers And Bice.Support the show

Dallas Daniels recently finished second to nine-time AMA Grand National Champion Jared Mees in the 2023 AFT Mission Twins Championship. But this weekend, Daniels is back in the MotoAmerica Championship for the first time since 2019 as he's set to race in the REV'IT! Twins Cup class on an Estenson Racing Yamaha YZF-R7 at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Beach is currently placed 11th in the overall standings in AFT Twins with wins at the Arizona Super TT and Buffalo Chip TT, and a recent third place finish at Law Tigers Peoria TT. He is currently in fourth place in the EBC Superbike Championship with a win at the MotoAmerica Championship of Virginia.

Roger Hayden announced his retirement in July 2018 after 20 years racing professionally. He returned to race American Flat Track at a hometown race, the Indian Motorcycle of Lexington Red Mile in Lexington, Kentucky on June 1, 2019. Riding for Estenson Racing Yamaha for JD Beach, Hayden fell one position short of the main event.

Recently, JD Beach announced that he will be racing in 2019 for the Rickdiculous Racing team on a Yamaha R6. He will be racing with Hayden Gillim and Gauge Rees. Beach is a two-time MotoAmerica Supersport Champion.

JD Beach locked up the 2018 MotoAmerica Supersport Championship on his Yamaha R6. He finished in second-place on Saturday and won his race on Sunday in New Jersey. Beach won eleven of the 15 rounds during the season. The MotoAmerica Series has one remaining round scheduled for September 21 – 23 in Birmingham, Alabama

There were more than few surprises throughout the weekend. So here's our Top 5 Stories to watch for the 2018 MotoAmerica season.Up first is Hayden Gillim. He's moved over to Supersport from Superstock1000 and is challenging JD Beach already. Second on our list is Jamie Astudillo and her amazing performance in Junior Cup. Keep and eye out for her and all the rest of the young racers in the class. Third on the list is Garrett Gerloff and his long-awaited promotion to the Superbike class. His first weekend wasn't without issues, but he's already showing promise. In second place is Josh Herrin and his R1S race bike. The versatile rider is a National Number AMA Pro Flat Track GNC1 flat track racer who just happens to be one of the best road racers in America as well. With eight wins in 2015, JD convincingly won the championship in a crowded field of fast competitors on great equipment. The Graves Motorsports Yamaha team gave him a great ride and he was on point all season! Jake Gagne is the 2015 MotoAmerica Superstock 1000 class champion! Riding for Danny Walker's Roadrace Factory Yamaha team, he was the class of the field. What's in store for 2015? Europe? Many believe Jake is one of the most talented racers in the world. We have many questions and he will have answers! Danny Walker came on the show pre-season and told us his goal was to win the Superstock 1000 championship with Jake Gagne on a Yamaha R1. We look forward to hearing Danny's valuable insight and his outlook for the road ahead. The team took on a major challenge with three riders on 600's in addition to Gagne. Yve Assad has a beautiful vision. She "creates with light" every time she picks up a camera. She tours many miles per year on her vintage BMW airhead traveling the two lanes of America in search of images that captivate.
