And that was just the start of the upside news on renewable fuels.To help us follow the twists and turns of the latest updates, DTN Staff reporter Todd Neeley joins us today with analysis on the EPA's proposal, as well as news from the courts, state policy, and beyond. El piloto de Yamaha Alex Rins, seis veces ganador de grandes premios, es el invitado de esta nueva edición del Podcast MotoGP 'Por Orejas', de MotorsportNetwork, un conversación en la que admite que "no esperaba que fuera tan difícil en Yamaha". Aprovechando que el Mundial de MotoGP atraviesa el parón invernal entre temporadas, Alex Rins, piloto del equipo de fábrica de Yamaha, pasó por el quirófano hace dos semanas para afrontar algunas mejoras físicas en el proceso de recuperación de la grave lesión que sufrió durante el GP de Italia de 2023, y que sigue arrastrando. Uri Puigdemont, Germán García Casanova y Alberto Gómez, reciben la visita del talentoso piloto barcelonés en el Podcast 'Por Orejas', en el que se sincera sobre muchos aspectos de su vida, como su alimentación, con una dieta estricta vegetariana, la operación a la que se sometió tras acabar la temporada para intentar recuperarse completamente de las lesiones sufridas el año pasado en Mugello, o el trabajo psicológico que ha tenido que llevar a cabo para ayudarle en todo el proceso de una lesión "que ha sido la más dura de toda mi vida", admite. Rins que debutó en MotoGP de la mano de Suzuki, que en 2023 corrió con LCR-Honda y que este año dio el salto a Yamaha, ha pasado por tres de los principales fabricantes japoneses, por lo que puede explicar, en primera persona, la forma de trabajar de cada uno, y también el mal momento actual de todos ellos respecto a la competencia: "Es difícil gestionar la presión de competir sin opciones de ganar", asegura. Durante la entrevista, Rins desvela los muchos problemas que ha tenido este año, el primero para él en el box oficial de Yamaha, a nivel de problemas de entendimiento con su técnico, el cambio para 2025 con la llegada de David Muñoz, procedente del VR46, y los avances que ya pudo comprobar en el test de Barcelona, celebrado el pasado 17 de noviembre. "Este año ha sido complicado a nivel de problemas", reconoce antes de explicar que "me sentí cómodo con la moto después de unos pocos ajustes2, manteniendo la motivación: "Sé que puedo llegar lejos, tengo ganas ya de volver a subirme a la moto". Rins, que pasó muy por encima del tema KTM, que puede llegar a afectar a todo el campeonato, "no tengo información clara sobre lo que está pasando, pero no estaría tranquilo", hace un paralelismo con lo sucedido con Suzuki, que abandonó el Mundial de forma inesperada. The United States' Renewable Fuel Standard Program requires a certain volume of renewable fuel be used to replace or reduce fossil fuel use. Each gallon of renewable fuel is assigned a Renewable Identification Number or RIN, which allows renewable fuel volumes to be tracked, traded, bought, and sold. These multifunctional numbers affect the entire fuel industry, including both conventional and renewable fuel producers. According to one of our next guests in the series, RINs are little-known and poorly understood - even in the renewable fuel industry.
