The Kings split their 2 game road trip in Memphis and San Antonio. While it wasn't perfect, they did play well in Memphis and then marvelously in San Antonio. Against the Grizzlies, the Kings played well against a good team, but they couldn't hit their 3s and defend down the stretch. But the signs were there that the Kings looked more cohesive than they have in previous games. And onto San Antonio the next day, while they started very slow, after the end of the 1st quarter the Kings took control of the Wemby-less, Vassell-less and Jones-less Spurs and never looked back. This could be something, it could be nothing, but the Kings looked better overall and if this could be the start of a run to get back on track in the standings. Or it could just be nothing and the Kings just revert back to the inconsistent team they've been all season so far.
