What the heck with Richard Dweck

Dan Wilbur is a fantastic comedian who has cut his teeth in comedy for many years - his bio: stand-up has been featured on Sirius XM, the RISK! podcast, in the Boston Comedy Festival, the Cleveland Comedy Festival, Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, Cape Fear Comedy Festival, and the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival. I've been an actor in sketches for College Humor, IFC, Funny or Die, MTV.com, and Distractify (one of which ended up on the Today show). I have written for College Humor, McSweeney's, The Onion News Network on IFC, Someecards (where I was the Ecards Editor for over a year), TL;DR Wikipedia, Reader's Digest, and a couple web series you've never heard of that paid me with checks that said, verbatim: “Cheese Jokes.” I was an “Adjunct Scholar” for Lapham's Quarterly, created the Better Book Titles blog and wrote my own humor book for Penguin in 2012 called How Not to Read: Harnessing the Power of a Literature-Free Life and AM Universal put out another collection from the blog called Never Flirt With Puppy Killers in 2016. His new album Husband Material is out on Spotify and Apple!

15 Minutes: a podcast about fame, with Jamie Berger

Abbi Crutchfield is the co-host of Tru TV’s You can Do Better. She’s a comedian, currently touring as one of four funnywomen on the CAKE comedy tour (cakecomedy.com) and former host of People Magazine’s Now. She has been featured on MTV, VH1, CollegeHumor and in national commercials. She is a contributor to Someecards, and her jokes are listed among the Best Tweets of the Year by Huffington Post Comedy. She’s been living in L.A., to shoot the second season of You Can Do Better, but later this year will return to Brooklyn, where she co- produces the weekly stand-up hour The Living Room Show, Fridays at 8pm Postmark Cafe in Brooklyn. Those of you who’ve been listening to the show for a while will remember my conversation with my old friend Matthew Latkiewicz, her co-host, back in Episode 9. In that episode, Matthew rather extremely candidly expressed his cynicism about the show he was about to debut, along with just about everything about fame. Since watching the first season of the show, in which Abbi tends to play good cop to Matthew’s kind of geek bad boy, I’ve wanted to get her perspective on it all. So I finally did. After one botched recording, we spoke a second time, with much better results, at least in terms of audio quality, in February.Find Abbi on Twitter and Instagram @curlycomedyNote: “15 Million Merits” not "Credits" is the name of the "Black Mirror" episode I mentioned briefly (beware: spoiler!). Damien Fahey is a writer for Family Guy on FOX. We discuss that. He also voiced two episodes of Family Guy called, “Peter’s Daughter”, & “I Dream of Jesus”. We forgot to discuss that. In addition to writing for the TV box, Damien has also appeared on it, first as the long-running host of MTV’s flagship program, TRL, then as the guest host of The Late Late Show on CBS, then as the co-host of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here on NBC. We talk about all of those things and much, much more including how Damien's focus and work ethic allowed him to continue finding work even when work wasn't looking for him. And we also discuss the far less common flipside of that, which is what it's like when work seems to track you down. Never one to let a single job keep him happy, Damien also writes for Someecards.com and regularly performs improv comedy with his group "Triggerfinger" and sketch comedy with "Top Story Weekly" at iOWest. Once, in 2006, Damien went almost 6 minutes without checking his iPhone.
